If you are a fan of ROKU, then you will be a fan of this one. I upgraded from a previous Ultra version and this one is extra snappy and fast. The book time is under 10 seconds and the menu is a fast as it has ever been. The remote is slenderer than before, is back lite when moved, has a built-in battery and a privacy button. It does not have an audio jack which was a disappointment. The battery life is not as long as the traditional AA battery remote. Any movement of the remote and the lights come on. I did have the remote run out of charge without any warning. When you turn on the ROKU it displays the battery bar, but I never saw a warning that it was about to run out. The only other issue I have experienced is with the Hisense TV. If I leave the TV on the ROMU channel and turn off the TV, it will randomly turn on but have a black screen. It didn't do this with the older ROKU Ultra, just the new one. If I change the channel on the TV to something else before turning off, it works just fine. RECAP - best ROKU device! Very Snappy and fast! New remote is great! Cons: Battery life of remote and no low battery warning. No audio jack on remote and turning on my Hisense TV randomly.

This item the Roku Ultra was the answer for pure pleasure and clear reception for my TV. It was so easy to set up and the clarity and reception is outstanding. I sure am satisfied with this product and encourage everyone to look into this item to improve ur experience

The Ultra solved the connectivity issues. Picture quality and remote are top notch.

I had the old version of Roku and was heating up, so I decided to buy this and totally love the remove as it has a mute button and it lights up. This newer version is faster and love the fact that I do not have to change the battery on the remote, you need to recharge it when needed.

We are senior citizens, not technically inclined, and found this very easy to set up. We are pleasantly surprised with the number of movie options available through Roku. There isn’t a last button or a recording option which we miss but otherwise great alternative to paying for cable boxes.

The Roku Streaming Box is an absolute game-changer for anyone looking for a seamless, affordable, and feature-packed streaming experience. Setup is incredibly easy, and the user-friendly interface makes navigation a breeze. I love the streaming quality with my 4K TV and the remote is simple yet effective. I have yet to find a better streaming device with an intuitive and high performing OS. I have tried other streaming devices on the market and nothing compares to the ease of use ROKU.

I do really like this version. It is super fast, not buggy, and has not required rebooting to 'fix' any issues. I have an older (but not too old!) version that will just freeze up in the middle of a show or will not react to button presses and then reacts all at once to the last 10 pushes. This one has worked flawlessly. Both are hard wired to fiber internet.

I have the previous release of the Ultra. I absolutely love it. I bought a 2025 Roku Pro Series TV and moved my current TV to another room. Installation of the new Ultra was a breeze, I like the new remote. After using it, I noticed that it wasn't upscaling audio to Dolby Atmos on my Denon AVR like the previous one did. I checked the web and found others had the same situation. After trying all the suggestions, I gave up. I moved the old Ultra to the new Roku TV and the new Ultra to my old TV. Really rather a bummer. Not able to take advantage of the new features of the Ultra with my new TV. I'm guessing Roku changed something and won't tell about or change it. Had I known, I would have either bought an older version or nothing at all.

I had the earlier version of the Roku Ultra the remote kept requiring a battery reset (plug in the remote) even though it was fully charged. So far this remote works fine.

This streaming device is outstanding—the best I’ve used so far. The backlit remote is a fantastic touch, making it even more enjoyable to use.

So many great features and easy to use. I honestly love the remote and the Bluetooth headphones work seamlessly which is great for when my wife is studying and I can still watch TV. Also tv sound is something my grandma struggles hearing the tv but the headphones are better! Tried it with AirPods and Sonys and it’s great. It’s the bells and whistles model and it feels like it. I also love the find the remote feature as our couch is remote hungry…

Upgraded from the simpler Roku box and it’s literally the same thing with a nicer feeling controller and a very convenient find remote button (it works but sometimes it doesn’t). It had a few upgrades like better internet and some Dolby audio (simplifying) but unless you have a tv with good/dolby speakers it’s not going to make a difference. Not bad got in on sale.

Very fast device compared to other streaming devices. Supports all of the latest tech features such as Atmos, HDR10+, Dobly Vision etc. The find remote feature is amazing, I have twin toddlers and the remote routinely disapears so being able to hit the button on the side of the unit is amazing. Only downsides is for some reason Disney+ seems to glitch out sometimes where audio will play with no video and the remote is very sensitive to touch and there is no lock for it. So if you leave the remote on the bed even the slightest movement will sometimes hit buttons. Otherwise it runs much better and smoother than any built in TV system or multiple generations of firesticks i've used.

I am very satisfied with the RoKu Ultra. Very easy to use, and the Geek squad did an excellent job setting up my TV sets. The only problem that occurred, was the gentleman that I had spoke with when ordering, did not tell me to order enough, so, luckily the Geek squad had another one available in their vehicle, so all 3 TV's could be set-up when they were here. The gentleman had said that the Insignia TV that I had ordered from Best Buy, was already set-up for RoKu, when in fact, it was not. He knew I had a Fire TV, wrong information was given to me. In the end, it cost me more, but, overall I am happy with the RoKu systerm. Thank you. Mary Garbe

Had some points and a gift card I would not typically update an already great ROKU with another great ROKU but pulled the trigger because it was roughly double the wifi speed of my previous. I didn't think the backlit remote would matter to me much but IT DOES. Love it

I’ve had a Roku for years. This isn’t the first one but this one is amazing because the remote has no batteries you charge it. That’s really awesome. Plus you talk to it. The TV comes on when you tell it to be very difficult. It’s pretty cool. I would definitely purchase again. !!!!!!

This streaming device finally makes it simple to watch television again! I have all my apps in one place signed in! The most important part I was able to help my 90 year old mother watch something on Apple TV or Netflix or Hulu or Disney without too much trouble. I don't think we realize how hard it is for some older people to actually watch programs on television. Roku Ultra streaming device really helped! Thank you Roku!
