Major issues with the new 2024 Roku Ultra. Roku support has no answers for why it's not supporting Dolby Atmos or recognizing Dolby Vision and HDR content. No issues with previous 2022 Roku Ultra but I just bought two new 2024 ultras and both having same issues. went through multiple resets and adjustments no luck, my tv is LG OLED 65cx supports all content and my LG SN9YG soundbar supports Atmos. Very disappointed that it's not out of the box ready have seen other reddit comments with similar issues. If you have the 2022 ultra don't upgrade.

This model was not delivered as stated in the description by a third party seller. It was a older model delivered. They apologized for the mistake asked if I want to return it. I Then went to Best buy to return and the store would not accept the return due to the reseller was not allowed at the store. Then I had return via UPS. Had to pay for shipping. I did get my money back but lost president day deal due to the mistake for the latest model. Customer service was poor at the store. They used take care of customers but now buyer beware. You may not get what you paid for. Not buying from Best buy again

It could be great, i love the simple menu, but...
It limits what apps you can install. you'll find that roku dictates what apps it allows you to install, and some of the ones we like can't be loaded onto this device.
So it's quite limited in that regard.
The other thing was , ours was glitchy. Maybe it was our router's fault, I don't know, but we experienced a lot of unwanted freezes and exiting a show that we were watching. I don't want to blame this device if it is our router's fault, but then again it could be this device's fault. So my recommendation where glitchiness is concerned, check other reviews and see if they experienced this issue as well. If others haven't experienced it, then the issue is probably with the router, and not this streamer.

As you add more apps, the system might offload less frequently used ones, leading to a slight delay when opening them. If you experience issues, verify if the app is available in your region or if your Roku account is linked to a U.S. location.
