Love this for streaming! It has a button to help find the remote as well, so helpful when your house has more than one person! Cool feature is being able to plug in the headphones to the remote and not interrupt others around you.

Started with a Roku stick, too slow. Updated to a Roku Express then a Roku 3. Each product gets better, faster and easier to use. So far this is the best one. The remote with volume and power for the TV is an awesome addition.

This is our third Roku for our house. Our others are Roku 3s. This one is much faster and had many more features such as if you lose the remote you can find it since it will play a song (have to tap a button on the Roku itself). It also has upgraded features for the disabled like a audio voice that reads everything from what you selected to time remaining on what you are watching. They have also added "instant" button for things like Netflix so you don't have to scroll around to find the app icon. There is also a Micro SD slot if you want to add more memory to the Roku. It also comes with a pretty nice pair of earbuds. Though the only down side to any Roku is DON'T use headphones through the remote. You will be needed new batteries every few hours if you do.

Wanted a media player with a more powerful processor and a wired Internet connection. Very fast and responsive. What I thought was a power button on the top of the player is the remote finder (there is a tiny speaker on the bottom of the remote that chirps). The headphone jack is very nice. Being able to listen to something at night with my other significant other sleeping next to me and not waking them up. The USB port is very nice, mp4s, jpgs, etc load very fast. The only thing I wish it had was a power button. The other rokus we have are sticks that we have plugged in the tvs' usb port so when we shut off the tv, they turn off too. That is the only minus with this model. Overall I highly recommend this model and would buy another one.

Weather you purchase this model, or another: I believe ROKU is an excellent investment. Like my older version that this one replaced, it is simple, easy to setup and manage, and not very large so it takes very little space. This one is all set for the newer UHD content. My other unit is a simple direct HDMI unit that I keep in my bag for traveling. No more boring cable in hotels. All I have to do is connect the ROKU to the hotel TV, connect the WIFI, and all my channels and content is ready, just like at home (Not this unit). Keep in mind. The main use for a ROKU is streaming all of your most popular streaming content, like Amazon prime, HULU, Netflix, and MUCH more.

This the best option I’ve found for cutting cable and streaming live TV and Netflix and other media. Super easy to use, powerful and love the remote with option of using headphones to listen.

I was incredibly impressed about the speed it goes, amazed picture of what my mom, sister, and I watch, sound quality is awesom, and the roku ultra is just simply to use.

Ok, so as far as streaming devices go I did a lot of research before purchasing this one. This little device is my first attempt at cutting the cable cord and so far, I'm not disappointed. This thing is great! There are so many options out there and this Roku is fast, easy to set up and use. It has so many apps available on it, and navigating through them is a breeze. The voice remote is great, it reminds me of my cable remote which made the transition that much easier. I intend to buy another. I highly recommend this unit. I realize it's more expensive than the stick but you pay for power, and this has it.

I originally bought a Roku 4k Stick to replace my Amazon Fire media player (so that I could get YouTube TV which isn't carried by Amazon). However I was disappointed with the picture quality compared to the Amazon box. I decided to try the Roku Ultra 4k player as I figured the electronics must be better than the very compact stick. I found that there's a tangible improvement in picture quality compared to the 4K Roku Stick and it's definitely on a par with the Amazon player. So couldn't be happier. Everything else works great too - easy setup, navigation etc and service agnostic so you can get all the services you want. Recommended.

Just hooked this up with a Vizio 4K TV. Works great, easy to use, fast - hardly any waiting for streaming to start. Picture is amazing, much better than the Cox cable box I have.

In my opinion, the ROKU Ultra is the best Streaming Box on the market. I finally decided to "Cut the Cable" and stream TV and video from the Internet. The ROKU Ultra offers a WiFi and an RJ-45 Hard-Wired Ethernet Network Interface, so it is very convenient if you are unable to Hard-Wire the unit to your Internet Router or Gateway. The Remote Control features an RF Interface rather than the IR-type so if you install the ROKU Box in a concealed area (cabinet, etc. - which is my situation) the Remote works just fine. The setup is very easy and intuitive and allows you to control your TV Power and Volume as well. Great flawless video!

Has great speed and is a lot faster than the Roku stick. The guide is laid out very well and like it better than amazon fire stick!! Very easy to use and set up!!

Love it! Speed, performance, and ease of access. I run it on my Wi-Fi and it regularly pings at 400 mps. Great for Ultra HD

This Roku box was a great solution for getting streaming service via an older TV. Very easy setup and use. Headphones that plug into the remote are very convenient.

Amazon movies would no longer support my plasma Panasonic TV so I needed a new way to access and view my Amazon Prime movies. The Roku was reasonably priced, about half of the cost of Apple TV, and has a neat feature: the ability to listen privately to TV via the remote control with the included JBL headphones. Roku was easy to set up and is easy to use. Although I don’t use the optional pay TV options, I’m very satisfied with the many free options and it works very well for my original purpose, Amazon Prime movies. I also use it for Netflix, which works very well too.

This Roku is the best one so far. Easy to set up and to use. Plus, it has the headphone jack to use when you only want to hear your show. Great picture.

I bought this because the Spectrum TV app is not available for download on the Amazon Firestick/FireTV. This Roku is ten times better than the Amazon products! There are no restrictions on the apps that you can add to it, the remote control also syncs with your TV for both power and volume (no more handling multiple remotes), and the headphone jack (JBL headphones included) is great for watching something while your significant other is asleep. There's also an A and B button that helps the remote double as a game controller. This Roku has it all!

I bought this and wanted 4k UHD HDR content, I got it and hooked it all up. Only issue was that it wasn't getting 4k UHD HDR signal, turns out the HDMI cable that I had didn't support it. I got another one from BestBuy that did and it how it runs at the best picture quality available. Going from the Roku streaming stick to this was a big difference in picture quality and I love the option of the head phones that plug into the remote. Great product

I had a smart tv left for me in the home I purchased. I knew that I would be able to stream tv due to the fast internet available. But I didn't know where or how to begin. The sales person at Best Buy walked me through the process and was able to answer all my questions. I knew some but still needed an explanation on the whole process of streaming. This Roku devise was incredibly easy to install and has been very easy to use. I no longer need my tv remote as the Roku remote will control it all with just a few buttons. I am extremely satisfied.

Replaced a FireTV box with this as it did not have 4K. This seems much faster and it is nice that the power control will also turn on and off the TV. The ear phone plug in the remote is a plus for night viewing to not bother others, but the "headset" that comes with it is only fair.
