I got this on sale for a steal and I absolutely love how intuitive it is. I'm learning Spanish so when I stream on Twitch I can communicate with my Hispanic audience.

I owned Version 3 of Rosetta Stone's Italian Software years ago and made it about 75% of the way through the whole 5 Level program before taking a trip by myself to Italy to visit some relatives, some of whom don't speak any English. I learned enough to get by while in Rome and in the mountains about an hour and half outside of Rome where my Grandfather was born but I wasn't able to hold a serious conversation with anybody unless they knew English. I bought the new program and restarted the Italian lessons in part because it was much cheaper than it was when I bought the 5 Level program years ago and I could access other languages if I wished for a single cost. However, Rosetta Stone's teaching techniques haven't changed all that much. There's still no explanation of the grammar rules to help you out. What they're trying to convey and teach with the pictures isn't always clear. Finally while they got rid of the clunky "conversation" pieces that ended the previous stages within the Levels, they're now replaced with a short story where new words are tossed in seemingly at random. Maybe I'll try a non-Latin based language once I've completed the Italian this time around, but I'll do like I did before and supplement it with books about the new language written in English so I better understand the rules of grammar.

I bought this software because I wanted to learn Spanish for both personal and professional reasons. I have been using it for a few months and I am very impressed with the results! Rosetta Stone has helped me improve my Spanish skills significantly. I can now speak and read Spanish at a moderate level, and I feel more confident in communicating with my wife's family. I was able to learn Spanish in a natural and immersive way, without relying on translations or memorization. I was able to learn by listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish, just like you would in a real world scenario. I felt like it adapted to my pace, and provided me with instant feedback on pronunciation and grammar. They even allow for practice with native speakers and other learners in live sessions and games. Having the lifetime access version is just the icing on the cake! I can revisit lessons and learn anytime I want.

I was a little hesitate to purchase this product I wasn't sure how my 5 year old who wanted to learn Spanish and French would handle it. Would the program be kid friendly and it was not only is she learning French right now we both are. I only had a problem hearing the words under the French program not the Spanish so I knew it was a speaker problem so I kept adjusting the setting and got it figured all out. This program was well worth the cost. I bought it on sale for $189.99 for Lifetime Access to 25 languages yes I would say it's worth it.

Super excited to learn. I love learning and speaking with others. So I wanted to learn how to speak with others in their own languages

What I have noticed is that the first lessons are helping me build a strong foundations to future words I’ll will be leading latter in the program. I think the app on the phone is perfect when you have down time

Excellent program to learn a new language. You can do multiple languages, but need to finish the current lesson (not the full language) before starting another.

This program is very presumptuous. Sometimes you can pick the correct picture by process of eliminating the words you know/don't know. Other times, incorrect answers are selected because I have no idea what some of the words mean. The program would be better suited if there were translations to your native language. I don't think their teaching method was very well thought out.

Hello Fellow Consumers, Brief History: I owned the Rosetta Stone program in the past...It was a stand alone program that belonged to you Plain & simple: 1)This is an online program you cannot use this Program(product) OFFLINE. 2)You cannot have multiple USERS! 3)You CANNOT RETURN this if it WAS NOT bought DIRECTLY from Rosetta Stone(so buy it from them so you can see for yourself. 4) This is an ONLINE SUBSRIPTION SERVICE-yes it's for a lifetime but NO INTERNET MEANS NO LEARNING!! What if my power goes out for a week?-no lessons that week 5) As far as I can tell you can use all 24 launguages Extremely Disappointed Dispite what the Rosetta stone web site says I will try to get a refund from Best Buy

I love rosetta stone! The lessons are easy to follow, and its enjoyable.

It takes some getting used to because you need to learn the language through photos which I sometimes misunderstand. Overall this is a good tool for learning any language. I got it on sale so it was a great value for unlimited languages for a lifetime.
