Customers often highlight the powerful suction and ease of use of the Rotator Powered Lift-Away XL Capacity HEPA Bagless Upright Vacuum. I love my Shark!!!!! Absolutely fun to use and I look forward to vacuuming. I do not have carpeting in my home (all hardwood floors) but I tried it in the store and...WOW! The sucking power of this unit PULLS you (like a shark on a fishing line) and eats up all the debris in the carpet. I tried a Hoover and a Dyson first but this one was worth every penny! It's heavier than I expected but I still think it's perfect and I have no buyers remorse. It has great lights on it that helps to show you just how dusty your floor is even when it doesn't appear to be. Even the hose has lights when you detach it from the unit. It comes with all the attachments, and hardwood floor attachment (with lights as well) that has a removable pad on it that can be put in the washing machine, a caddy to make it a canister vacuum also a smaller attachment that removes animal hair super good. Shark was packed great and is easy to empty. It's true the thing falls over when you remove it from the stand but I still don't care - it's freaking awesome. I named him Jaws. And yes, I'd buy him again!!!!!

We found the Shark Rotator Powered Lift-away to be a pleasure to use and enjoy the optional tools which accompanied the vacuum. My wife is the primary user but I will volunteer to help with the vacuuming whenever I'm home. This unit replaced a three year old Dyson which was cumbersome as we later found out.

OMG this baby has power!!! It is great for both hard floors and carpet. We use the pet attachment to vacuum the dog hair off the couch. I love the power it has when carpet mode is on, it literally pulls the vacuum forward for you. The dual headlights are amazing, we have dark wood floors and they may LOOK clean to us but as soon as the vacuum headlights hit the dirt, oh boy you can see they are not! This is nice so you know you got all the dirt. The option of stand up or canister is great too, I love the lightness of canister mode. This is a great vacuum and it replaced a 3 year old Dyson because (yes) it lost suction!

Like many of you, I read a lot of reviews from users Dyson, is over priced, big & bulky. I tried the Hoover before this, as it had good ratings, and was a decent vacuum, but not strong enough for what I wanted, nor did it have all the features I wanted. I could not find this Shark as it was sold out everywhere. So, purchased online through Best Buy, 2 days later I received it, Easiest vacuum to put together I have ever owned. No screwdriver for the handle, just all snapped together firmly and tight. Nice. I said the Dyson was big and Bulky, the canister for this is a bit square, but not a biggie. Will not go on and on, but I am extremely impressed in every way. It destroys the Kirby it is replacing, you can truly tell the difference in how much more power this Shark has but how much more it fluffs the carpet from the power. Was amazed at just how much it picked up, that the Kirby could not. Lightweight, great features, easy to use, not all that loud. For the difference in money compared to a Dyson you'd be silly to spend the extra for just a name or colors. This is one kick butt product.

First I have to tell you that I'm a guy and and I'm a mechanic. This is my first review that I ever wrote. I was in need of a new vacuum, my old vac was a dirt devil vision. I have a dog that sheds terribly and also two cats. I normally vac once a week, I should vac probably twice week but come on I'm a guy. Anyways, I vacuumed REALLY good with the old vac first then I busted out the Shark, I did half the room and I couldn't believe how much pet hair and dirt I already got! The canister was full, I had to empty it! I did the other half and I emptied the canister again, it was also full! I emptied both times on a white trash bag in the garage. Hopefully I can add pics to this review because I took pics of the huge pile I pulled out of my carpet. It's pretty gross actually.
When your using the vac you definitely can feel and hear the brush agitating the carpet. It has a ton of suction. The on/off switch is real nice being on the handle. The fact that you can lift the canister off and still use the vac to get under the coffee table is awesome. Let me tell this one more thing, I have carpet in the living room and the bedrooms, but I have some hardwood floors in a couple other rooms. This is gonna sound kinda weird maybe, but I noticed if you turn off the lights and you use the led lights on the sweeper, it will Mega illuminate the dirt, or in my case the dog hair that's on your hard wood floors. I couldn't believe all the dog hair I saw. Well anyway this thing sucked it all right up no problem.
I've probably read 150 reviews and watched countless videos on YouTube, trying to decide between this Shark or the Dyson multi surface. I am so glad I bought this instead. I'm telling you this thing is worth every penny. I paid 299.00/ you get what you pay for. Also I got to tell ya, in the beginning I was leaning towards that Dyson, but when I went to Best Buy and pulled it down from the shelf to check it out, I was not impressed, it seemed very cheaply built and expected a lot better quality for the money they're asking for those. This Shark is a winner for me. (Winning!!) Lol.

This vacuum works great. We have a Dyson Cinetic downstairs and out of pure laziness, we purchased a second vacuum for upstairs. I now use this vacuum upstairs and downstairs. The fact that the canister is removable makes this machine a breeze to use. It goes places the Dyson will never go. It has great suction and the tools are motor driven vs suction driven like the Dyson. I don't mean to be picking on the Dyson, it is a fantastic vacuum. In my opinion, Shark Is a better buy bucause of pricing, flexibility (goes places the Dyson won't), decent attachments and it cleans floors as good or maybe even better than my Dyson. Unless you are h*ll bent on spending nearly $700, give the Shark a try. You can go wrong, especially for the price.

I bought the Shark NV755 about a month ago and am very happy with this purchase. It cleans like a beast - better than my Dyson upright (can't remember the model number but it was very good). I did deep spring cleaning of my house including vacuuming crown moldings, baseboards, curtains, blinds, upholstery, under the beds etc - it did an amazing job! This vacuum will suck the life out of you it's so powerful. The attachments are very easy to use and are very effective - no loss of suction! No problem with the crevice tool that some others have commented on. Love that the wand lights up with the attachments on it too. Attachments on my Dyson were hard to use because the hose was so stiff. The Shark is great for pet hair - I have 2 long haired cats. The hair does get stuck a bit on the roller brushes (a bit more than it did on the Dyson) but it's easy to remove and wasn't particularly bothersome. It works great for carpet and floors, getting up dirt and hair with one pass. The floor attachment with cleaning pad works well on the hardwood floors - the pad actually made the floors shine more. The canister is easy to empty too, and it opens from the top and bottom. The ONLY downside is this machine is rather heavy - it is not light, so when doing extensive cleaning or a large house it can be tiring on the wrists. I would definitely buy it again. Love having a super clean house.

I needed something to go easily from carpet to hardwood floors and could easily clean under furniture. This vacuum does it all. Press a button and you have an edger tool, and can switch from upright to canister (and the caddy attachment is wonderful so it follows easily behind. Another attachment and I'm doing the stairs. It is so user friendly, someone really thought things through!!!!! Also it has so much power. I had to empty the dirt canister twice to vacumm downstairs and the same for upstairs. I bought a model that came with all the attachments. In a 2 story house with hardwoods and carpet they all come in handy. Recommend--YES!!!!!

I love this thing. I actually look forward to cleaning all my floors. Within 48 hours of buying this vacuum we used all the different attachments to clean our fluffy rug, our hardwood floors, and our carpet and stairs. I can't believe how much dog hair this vacuum gets out of the carpet and off the hardwood floors. Our dog sheds so much I have to clean the floors twice a week, but the vacuum gets it all! I feel like all the floors (2000 sq ft worth!) are truly clean. So easy to use. A little on the heavy side, but the canister lifts off for easy brush head maneuvering. I like the dust vac attachment for the hard floors. Great suction with all heads/attachments. Great performance for half the price of a dyson.

We have 2 Siberian huskies and tons of dog hair! This vacuum takes care of the dog hair like a dream! It is very easy to use and moves great on high pile as well as low pile carpets. The attachments are great. The vacuum has several configurations that are very useful. Love it!

This was a Christmas gift for friends. LED light is bright, cord is long, easy to navigate, doesn't lose suction even with a full bin. My friends said it's the first vacuum they've had that actually fits in their small broom closet. They have 3 cats so they appreciate all the cleaning options

This vacuum has totally impressed me. I had purchased a Shark Lift Away and we were pleased with the way it cleaned so it was a no brainer for us to look for another Shark product. The power this vacuum has is wonderful and since I have 3 cats, I'm always amazed at how much this vacuum picks up. I have it set up as a canister vacuum and it allows me to clean with out the extra weight on the wand. Having the power control on the handle is a nice touch. I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone who is looking to get a new vacuum at a reasonable price!!

I bought this vacuum in anticipation of getting new laminate floors. Once the installers were finally done I used this Shark rotator lift away - it is by far the best vacuum I've ever used! I was amazed at how much dog hair it picked up after only 2 days. The suction is great, love all the controls being on the handle and especially the lift away to get under beds and other furniture. I was hesitant to purchase because of the price but it is well worth the investment. Highly recommended.

I've had dysons for the last 10 years. I show dogs so there is a lot of hair and dog dirt. When I bought a new "Ball" dyson, I hated it. Kept falling over, wasn't picking up leaves brought in by dogs. I took it back to Best Buy after 30 days and told them the problems. I traded it in for a shark. Very happy with the shark. More power and it picks up everything. Don't usually do reviews but thought the one would help someone.

Pros: Cleans well (this is our second Shark vacuum so we expected it to and we were not disappointed); LOTS of suction (make sure you use the slide for different floor types); long cord; LED lights in the front; numerous attachments; bigger canister that detaches and attaches easier.
Cons: Seems a little heavy and harder to operate likely due to the excellent suction.
Conclusion: This is a quality vacuum that does a good job at a good price. We would highly recommend it keeping in mind that it is a little harder to operate. We would have given it 4.5 stars if that were an option.

lots of suction, like the feature of being able to break down to clean carpeted stairs with a hand held power head. Sweeper does better than the Dyson we have been using on hard wood floor when it comes to cleaning up cat liter, it is able to pick up in one to two passes. Able to feel the brush pull the sweeper when vacuuming carpet

This is the best vacuum we have used by far. We had a Bissel Vacuum that we thougt was great. After using this for several weeks we now think this is the best one. Not only does it have more power, it has the versitility to be a handheld vacuum or a canister vacuum. Now we don't have the move furniture around as it easily cleans under beds and tables when converted to a handheld vacuum. It is very easy to convert form one to another version and it is really easy to clean everywhere, even up and down steps. Even dumping the cansiter is easy. No mess!!

My old vacuum died the same day I purchased this vacuum. With 5 dogs and a hybrid cat we can't go a day without a way to pick up hair! This works as well as my old pet type that was much bigger and bulkier. I am extremely happy with this machine since it is so much lighter and easier to get the job done everywhere.

For me, this vacuum has been terrific. It's got great suction, the pet hair brush is amazing and powered, the canister option works great, and the hard floor cleaner works like a champ.
It's not as light as some, but WAY lighter than the old Hoover Wind Tunnel it replaced. Shark has other models without as many features that are lighter , if needed. The fit and finish on this vacuum exceeds expectations.
