I think when purchasing earbuds you really have to think about what features are the most important to you because it is hard to get everything in one model. These Rowkin Ascent Charge + earphones do a really good job in a lot of categories, especially for sport/workout earphones.
Their portability, which is necessary for going to and from the gym, can't be beat. The USB C charging case is well built, very durable and offers 50+ total hours of use. The earphones are magnetically held in place in the case, along with the case being magnetically closed. It is a very convenient feature to be able to use the Qi wireless charger which can also charge any other Qi-enabled device. The earphone case also has a small strap on one end which could be used to secure to a backpack or other bag.
I've found the touch controls of the earbuds to be simple and straight forward The fit on the smallest size rubber earbud ring is good for me, but does let in a bit more surrounding noise than the medium size which created more cancellation of noise. I personally like to have a bit of surrounding noise so I was quite happy with the fit of the smallest rubber ring and the earphones were still quite snug with no fear of them falling out with activity. Should one misplace an earphone it is really nice that Rowkin has provided a Find My Earbuds feature in their app.
The app also allows one to modify the EQ settings to various sound settings such as flat, electronic, acoustic, rock and bass booster. The sound is quite good, but I preferred to change the EQ setting to bass booster for my taste.
In summary, these earbuds have a lot of nice features to offer the user. Very compact earbud size with a very comfortable, snug fit. I do not feel like I have to worry that they are going to fall out. The magnetic closure case is durable and can be conveniently charged via the Qi charger. I feel that the sound could offer a bit more bass, but given all the other positives I don't feel like this is a deal breaker. Lastly, even a set of simple, paper instructions with the box would be nice and convenient.

Awesome wireless headphones

These are amazing. I was skeptical at first since I wasn’t really familiar with the brand but they are probably my favorite headphones now. Here is my full review.
Unboxing:
There is not a lot in the packaging. The charger with earbuds in them, usb-c cable, qi charger, earbud tips and that’s pretty much it. The box is pretty good quality overall but also no frills.
Setup:
I set this up with my iPhone XS for first use. Pairing is your typical Bluetooth fare with going into settings and selecting the right earbud. I never had any disconnections in use as it was very stable. Download the Rowkin app for full functionality with features such as finding your earbud and EQ settings.
Use/sound quality:
Again, I was skeptical because it only supports basic A2DP profiles (I assume SBC). I have had hit or miss results with that codec in the past and was really hoping for AAC or APTX support. After trying with a variety of music, I was pleasantly surprised that the quality sounded great in every case. The default profile is a flat setting but this can be changed in the app. The EQ did not appear to be customizable (or at least I couldn’t figure out how). The pre-programmed ones seemed pretty good quality. I did experience a problem on iOS where the profiles would reset to flat periodically. This was a little annoying but could probably be fixed in software.
Sound quality was clean and free of any static. Even when used at the gym I had no interference. I assume this is due to the strong Bluetooth 5 connection. I was unable to test on a phone that did not support Bluetooth 5. Audio sounded clean and detailed using spotify. Bass is not heavy but it is a flat bass that complements most music well. Stay away if you want beats type audio but if you want something more natural, these are a great pick. Battery life was similar to what is advertised for me at about 3 hours, more than enough for the gym.
Build quality / features:
The earbuds themselves look a little strange and plain but they fit very comfortably in my ears with the default tips. They feel like high quality metal and plastic. The charger for them is larger but doubles as a charger for the earbuds and for any devices you might have. It has a 1900 mAh charger so can recharge a phone if needed. The connection is USB-C but comes with a USB-A adapter. The charger will charge via USB-C or via Qi charging which is a great convenience.
Problems:
I didn't have many issues with these but the small rubber gasket on the earbuds seems to come loose if you are rough with it. It can easily be reinstalled if it falls out but I would hate to lose it. I couldn't quite figure out the way they are supposed to go in my ear but I found a comfortable position that sounds good. These are minor gripes but just pointing them out since it’s a review.
Summary:
Great headphones, great value, wonderful utility with few compromises. Sound quality is above average for this segment and they are great for working out.

Considering that I have been using the Jaybird Run True Wireless since it's launch, I would say I should've looked into the Rowkin brand a bit sooner than later...
The Rowkin Ascent Charge is priced in between well known brands and I believe you get a lot for your money. A slick dual function charging case (with a sweet sliding mechanism) that has a USB-C port and Qi enabled. A Qi charging pad, 3 different size ear plugs, 4 inch USB-C cable, USB-C to USB-A adapter is also included.
The Ascent allows me to continue to use just one headphone when needed and both if I choose too. It flawlessly pairs with no issues like I had with other prior brands. Great sound, adjustable EQ via app, Find My Earbuds feature and higher than average battery life (I got a solid 4 hours of use per charge at 85% volume).
I'm very picky when it comes to anything in-ear since I have different size ear holes. Some how theses are nearly perfect since they're a smaller form factor than the Jaybird. I didn't have any issues of it falling out either which is perfect since it's easy to forget that you have them on! Overall, I would recommend this if you're looking for something super slick and a solid overall performer.

Impressive Bluetooth Earbud Performance

Before I received these Rowkin Bluetooth earbuds, I had seen a few video reviews on YouTube which had said many positive things about this product, so I already had a concept that this might be a quality product, but I found that these Rowkin Bluetooth earbuds were even better than I had expected. I was impressed with the consistent automatic Bluetooth connectivity of these Rowkin earbuds, this is referring to the Bluetooth connecting process once the Bluetooth earbuds have already been paired with an audio source. These Rowkin Bluetooth earbuds connect faster & quite a bit more consistently than all of the other Bluetooth earbuds that I own.
These Rowkin Bluetooth earbuds have a newer 5.0 version of Bluetooth, which is more power efficient than previous versions of Bluetooth. Also, audio devices using Bluetooth 5.0 can remain connected in standby mode for longer than previous versions of Bluetooth. Compared to several other Bluetooth earbuds that I own, the Bluetooth connection on these Rowkin earbuds is stronger than average at the maximum connection distance. I have a gaming desktop computer in my living room, which I often use to send an audio signal to my various brands of earbuds when I walk to my back bedroom, my back bedroom is around 35 or 40 feet away from my living room and is also on the other side of a kitchen wall. The audio reception of these Rowkin earbuds is indeed better than all of my other earbuds when in my back bedroom.
The charging case for these Rowkin earbuds is a really good design, it incorporates magnets to hold the case closed, and it also has magnets to hold the earbuds in the charging position. The rechargeable case weighs 4.4 ounces, which is a bit more than the charging case for other Bluetooth earbuds that I own. The Rowkin earbud charging case is 5 volts at 1900 mAh of battery capacity, this is a way bigger lithium battery than is in the charging case of my other Bluetooth earbuds. For all of the other Bluetooth earbuds that I have owned, I have wondered, why did they make the charging case with such a tiny battery? I am glad that Rowkin has added a much more proper sized battery capacity in their charging case. The Rowkin packaging lists up to 50 hours of audio listening for these earbuds, this is approximately 14 times that the Rowkin wireless charging case can charge these Rowkin Bluetooth earbuds. That is way more than the competition. The Rowkin earbud charging case also has wireless charging, this is a feature that no other Bluetooth earbuds that I know of has.
The included Rowkin wireless charger is designed pretty well, it has 4 solid rubbery feet on the bottom corners, which is better than the foam type of feet which is often on some products. The Rowkin wireless charging pad has an input power rating of 5 volts at 2 amps, if the Rowkin wireless charging pad is plugged into a power source that is only 5 volts at 1 amp, it will charge devices a bit slower and the charge status indicating lights might glitch and will not stay lit when the charging is complete. So if glitching occurs when using the wireless charging pad, look to make sure that your 5 volt power source is a full 2 amps, to ensure that the charge indicating lights will stay lit up when charging is complete. The Rowkin charging case itself will function normally on 5 volts at 1 amp when it is connected directly to a power source using the USB-C cable. It is only when using the wireless charging pad that the full 5 volts at 2 amps is required to ensure 100% normal charging. I am mentioning this because this Rowkin kit does not come with a 5 volt power supply, it is necessary to use a phone or tablet charger that you already have, and many older 5 volt USB chargers are only 5 volts at 1 amp. The instructions say that the Rowkin charging case can be lightly shaken and this will display the battery level, but my charging case does not respond to shaking, but it does show the battery charge level when the end is tapped on a countertop surface, which is just as easy as shaking.
These Rowkin earbuds actually have the capability of being used independently of each other, each earbud can be placed into pairing mode and can be paired with audio sources. This is a feature that no other Bluetooth earbuds that I know of can do. All the other Bluetooth earbuds that I own, have a ‘master earbud’ and only the ‘master earbud’ can be placed into pairing mode. When the Rowkin earbuds are removed from the charging case, they automatically turn on and sync to each other, and then they connect in stereo mode to any previously paired audio source. If you want to use only one Rowkin earbud at a time, after removing the earbuds from the charging case, press and hold the touch surface on either earbud which will turn off both earbuds, then simply power on only the earbud that you want to use. The purpose of wanting to use only one earbud at a time, is so that the earbud that is not being used will function like an earplug blocking out most of the other noises in the room, and then once the one earbud that is being used runs out of battery power, simply turn on the other earbud, and this effectively doubles the audio playing time. Listening to only one Bluetooth earbud at a time, does allow for easier hearing of other surrounding noises, such as a doorbell, or a phone notification, or a phone ringing, or any other noise that would likely not be heard if you had been listening to audio through two earbuds at the same time.
I am listing the less than optimal details about the Rowkin earbuds last, this is because I was so impressed with the good things about this product. These Rowkin earbuds do not have quite the customized ear molded fitting that some other brands of earbuds do, but this is not much of an issue, as I find that these Rowkin earbuds do stay in the ears fairly well. These Rowkin earbuds can also be worn for many hours at a time with little to no ear discomfort. If you are a person with really small ears, then these Rowkin earbuds might not fit your ears so well, but if you have close to medium sized ears, then these Rowkin earbuds should fit well and comfortably.
The touch control buttons are not quite as good as actual physical buttons that are pressed and can be sensed when they have been pressed. If trying to press and hold the touch surface on either Rowkin earbud, if not starting with a firm enough press, the attempt at initiating a touch command will often not be successful. Also, if ever tapping an earbud twice trying to play or pause a song, often times the command will not be successful. Essentially the touch type of controls on these Rowkin earbuds are not the most accurate or consistent. Basically, the touch control commands on these Rowkin earbuds might require more than one attempt at times. I prefer physically pressable buttons on Bluetooth earbuds, but the touch sensitive surfaces on these Rowkin earbuds are effective enough so that this is not much to complain about.
I am rating these Rowkin earbuds at 4.5 out of 5 stars, as the overall kit consisting of the Bluetooth earbuds, the charging case, the wireless charging pad, and the USB-C cable with adapter, this is all a well put together audio listening kit, which has several above average features.

The search for the perfect earbuds can be quite elusive. I have never been able to zero in on that ideal pair for my ear type and size. Somehow, earbuds just don’t fit me right. They can’t get far enough into my ear canal to form a tight seal for high-end sound and if they do have that tight fit, they get uncomfortable really quickly. So, when I happen to find that special blend of comfort, superior sound quality, and exceptional features, I like to talk about it.
The Rowkin Ascent Charge+ are a really special set of headphones. They are dubbed ‘true wireless’ because they pair together and act as one set of headphones rather than individuals. And, they don’t require any cable connection to the connected device. They have an impressive 50+ hour music/talk time (with the aid of its charging case) and are considered the smallest sport earbuds on the market. As I mentioned above, I really look for three specific areas in a set of headphones and it is these areas that I will discuss in this review.
SOUND QUALITY
For me, the sound quality fell flat with the Rowkin headphones. I have some trouble with the ‘fit’ of earbuds sometimes and because of that, I don’t know that I always get the ‘best’ sound possible from them. That said, I have gotten to be a pretty good judge of how earbuds sound even if they don’t fit. The Rowkin Ascent Charge+ earbuds are decent — maybe a 6 out of 10 — but I thought they lacked some depth and they were just so-so in terms of clarity. I listened to a variety of music and quite a bit of movie/TV audio, too and I found that there was just something missing for me.
COMFORT
This is another area where these earbuds didn’t meet the mark for me. They weren’t exceptionally well-suited to anything aside from being stationary. For me, they fit gently into my ears and a quick shift of the head caused them to dislodge and wiggle around a bit. I’m also not a big fan of this style of earbud in general. I don’t like how there is a cylinder that juts out away from the ear. It makes me feel like my ears are weighted down. I do like that Rowkin included several sizes of ear gels and I did swap out the default size for the smallest one. This helped a bit and I recommend that anyone trying out earbuds make sure you are using the right size ear gel because that can make a bit difference. Even though these were a bit subpar in the comfort department for me, I never had any earaches or headaches due to prolonged use of them. I was able to listen to music with them for several hours at a time without pain occurring.
FEATURES
This is one area where the Rowkin earbuds excelled. I don’t like that a manual is not included with the earbuds (you have to search it out online), but I do like that they can be charged (through the case) wirelessly. That is an awesome upgrade in my opinion. They also charge with USB-C, which is another plus in my book. I don’t think enough devices utilize USB-C as a connection option. I had some trouble with the touch controls. You should be able to single tap or double tap the earbuds for simple controls of the device. I attempted this and was never able to get them to work as they were supposed to. This is an issue with other touch-control devices, too. Sometimes if you don’t hit just the right place on the device, you won’t get the function to work properly. I would equate my issues to user error and not a fault of the device as I haven’t seen anything online where others have had the same issues.
I’m not sure that the Rowkin Ascent Charge+ are ‘bad’ earbuds, but they certainly weren’t for me. My fiancé tried them out and was more impressed with them than I was. I really love that Rowkin employed wireless technologies for charging these earbuds and I hope that more headphones designers start to follow suit.

Tiny Buds, Good Sound, Big Case

Pros:
* Earbuds sound good and have consistent connectivity.
* Storage Case doubles as a power source for other devices.
* USB-C and Qi charging compatibility.
Cons:
* Earbuds are a bit chunky looking.
* Case is larger than usual.
* Earbuds fit awkwardly in charging case.
First - the basics. These true wireless earbuds sound pretty good; clean highs and deep lows. They are not huge buds, so don’t expect the same sounds as over-the-ear models, but for their size they sound great. Battery life is good too. Their connection to each other and to the source device (typically a phone) is solid as well. The touch controls work but as with all earbud touch controls, they are a bit difficult to get used to because you have to blindly find the buds with your finger first and then actuate the functions with a second touch. This is probably why all of the touch commands require a minimum of two taps since the first tap is most likely just to find the sweet spot on it.
The buds fit my ears comfortably even though they didn’t look like they would based on their chunky shape and odd surrounding flange. Once in; they were comfortable enough. There are no “wings” or other bits to keep them in aside from the friction of the ear tip in your ear canal so be careful when doing rigorous physical activity like jogging as they could fall out.
While the buds are tiny, their storage case is not. The case performs multiple functions which probably explains its size and weight. Not only does it charge the buds many times over, but the case can be used as an external battery charger for your phone (or any other device). The case can be charged by plugging in its USB-C port to a charger, or you can drop the case on a Qi charging pad (one is provided) - really nice if your phone is Qi compatible, too, and you have a few wireless charging pads around. It’s great that the earbud case can charge other devices, but that does require it to be larger and heavier than most other similar true wireless earbud charging cases.
My only (small) complaint aside from the size and weight of the case is how the buds fit in their case to charge. There is a charging spot for each bud and although the spots are not designated specifically for left and right, the angle of the eartip on each bud makes it a bit less than obvious for how they fit in so that the case can close. The earbuds fit into their case with a magnetic holder but the buds freely rotate in the holders yet the case will not close if they are not oriented properly. The best way I have determined to ensure that the buds are oriented properly in the case is to have each bud’s LED charging light rotated together.
Small nits aside, these are great true wireless earbuds with some less than common features in the provided charging case. Everything works as expected and the value for the price paid is better than average.

These are not just wireless, but cordless as well- no headband or other attachment, just two small earpieces. They come with three sizes of ear tips, a USB adapter piece, a short USB-C cable (same on both ends), and the charging unit/case. The reason this is the Ascent+ is because it also includes a Qi charger, a small square device that will charge the headphones, the case, and other devices. It charges my phone too, although not through the wallet case. Both the charging case and the Qi charger use the USB C cord.
The headphones power on and start pairing as soon as removed from the case, which saves time and effort. It's possible to use just one, instead of both, which is great for at work, when I want to be able to hear sounds around me. Wearing both doesn't block all ambient noise, but more than I was comfortable with in that situation. I had no problems with pairing. You can also turn them on and off by tapping the end of each, and holding for about 5 seconds. The charging case also acts as a powerbank for additional hours for the headphones, or another device connected via the USB cable. The manufacturer mentions up to 50 additional hours using the charging base, but I haven't tried that out yet. The charging ports in the case are magnetic, which helps put the headphones in place, so it will close properly.
I have not used this type of headphones, which don't have anything attached to hold it in place, but I had no problems with them staying in in my ears; once inserted, they did not shift until I removed them. I tried the large and the medium tips, and found the medium the most comfortable, but still secure fit, even when moving around. And while they claim to have up to a 25 feet range, I actually went farther, and the sound faded out when I went down the hall and around a corner, then it came right back when I headed back to the office where the phone was sitting. I'm impressed. My regular bluetooth headset starts skipping a lot sooner, and would have dropped at that distance.
Rowkin has an app, which they recommend installing on your mobile device. It allows for different sound settings (electronic, acoustic, etc), lets you know remaining battery life, and has a list of calling and play controls for the device. Another feature is the 'Find my Rowkin' section, which will tell you recent places where the headphones have been, making it easier to keep track of them if they get left somewhere. If you're going to get these headphones, get the ones with the Qi charger, which is well worth it (not a big price difference at this time). I had no problems with anything, although I have not had them long. I thoroughly recommend this device.

Rowkin is by no means a household name, but it should be. I have been seriously impressed with these ear buds as a package. For me, when getting wireless earbuds, they must have good reliability in terms of connection and have decent battery life (or at least a case that can recharge a number of times).
WHAT YOU GET
The box comes with lots of goodies. You obviously get the two (way too small to actually work well) ear buds, a charging case that looks eerily similar to a miniature umbrella (you'll know what I mean when you see it), a USB-C cable and a Qi wireless charging pad.
SOUND PERFORMANCE
Whenever you get truly wireless earbuds, or any Bluetooth headset for that matter, you are going to make some sacrifices. But for being truly wireless ear buds, I've been impressed with the sound. If you want Beats' level bass, look elsewhere, but they sound crisp and clear. Everything from classical, to country to podcasts sound great on these buds. They don't have any noise cancellation features, but the tight seal in your ears really isolates outside noise creating the same effect (just don't think you can get noise cancellation by just inserting them in your ear like the Sony WF 1000X).
BLUETOOTH PERFORMANCE
One of my must haves, and that's reliable connection. These bad boys utilize Bluetooth 5.0, and while my Google Pixel 1 doesn't have 5.0, I feel that somehow that technology plays a part in creating a reliable and stable connection.
As an example, some wireless buds (like the Sony WF 1000X) tell you to keep your phone on one side of your body so its closest to the main BT connection. So if I put my phone in my right pocket, the music might drop. But in my left pocket, I get a pretty good connection that doesn't drop.
There is absolutely no issues with where my phone is with the Rowkin Ascent. I can put it in my bag, in any pocket in my pants, even across my house and it will work consistently. That in and of itself gives these ear buds high marks. A truly impressive feat.
BATTERY LIFE
This goes to the features of the ear buds, but they last about 4 to 4.5 hours by themselves, which is longer that I ever listen to ear buds in one session (I'm usually listening while working out or doing yard work). Then when you're done using them, you drop them in the sweet case and they stay charged up ready for the next go around.
I drop my case (with the ear buds in them) on the Qi charger from time to time, and while I haven't measured how many hours I can get from the case alone, product listing says 50 hours and I don't doubt it. You can truly charge them up, put them in your bag for travel and not have to worry about losing all battery power for a while.
FEATURES/ACCESSORIES
I love that these headphones utilize USB-C. My phone does, so now I only need one charging cable. That's a plus to me. The Qi charging pad is nice, and I REALLY appreciate it's inclusion, but that isn't as big of a deal for me right now because it's the only device I have that wirelessly charges. So I don't typically leave the Qi charging pad out all the time because I just don't charge my headphones that frequently. Now, if I had a wireless charging phone, it would be awesome, I could drop the phone or headphones on the pad whenever.
The included short USB-C cable is also nice, I don't mind having extras of those.
The case is absolutely awesome (with one minor drawback). It has a great build quality and is smartly designed. It's not too bulky (the aforementioned Sony WF 1000X have a case that's technically smaller, but it's in the shape of a jewelry box so it sticks out in your pocket. This case is slender and long.
The case slides open too easily though. I like the mechanism, how it looks and feels when it opens (the ear buds are held in by magnets) but it can slide open too easily. It's not a problem if you throw your case in a bag, but I would be concerned if you used the built in lanyard to say, attach to the outside of your bag. I could see the door sliding open and the earbuds dropping out. I haven't tested it, but that would be only MINOR MINOR complaint of the Rowkin Ascent as a total package.
BUILD QUALITY
My first impressions when pulling the ear buds out of the case was great. I couldn't stop just seeing how they built such a small ear bud and with such high quality. They are really light, but at the same time, seem heavy. What I mean by that is that they're light to wear and carry but they just seem well built with ribbed edges for easy grip.
TOUCH CONTROLS
The touch controls work well, but you have to read the manual as each ear bud does its own thing. There are capacitive buttons on the end of each ear bud and two presses on the left goes to the next song and three taps on the right pulls up your phone's assistant. I found the buttons to be responsive, but I found myself missing them on the first press. It was like I have to kind of feel where the ear bud is in my ear before I could tap them. For me, controls on any ear buds aren't a big deal, I generally use my phone to change song/volume. I generally just change songs and leave it at that.
FIT
Another big feature of ear buds is the fit. They obviously need to be tight so they stay in, but not so much so that they're uncomfortable. The Ascent comes with additional ear bud covers in different sizes, but I found the ones that came on the ear buds themselves sufficient. I sometime have to put them in my ear and twist a little bit to find the "sweet spot" but this is a small exercise and I found that even when running or sweating, they stay in.
In my experience, when ear buds some with different size ear tips, you can generally find a good fit for you, I just recommend that you take the time when you first get them to figure out which works best. Once you do, I don't think you'll have any problems; they'll stay in your ear.
In terms of comfort, I found them really comfortable. The longest I've worn them straight was about an hour and they didn't bother me in the slightest. I almost forgot I was wearing them, I didn't have to adjust the fit at all.
CONCLUSION
In terms of overall package, this is a great set of headphones. People who are stuck on particular brands might look past the Rowkin Ascent, but they really do deserve a look. You get a lot for a great price, and the two most important factors of wireless ear buds, battery and stable connection, exceeded my expectations. And the sound is good. I don't think they're any better or worse than other buds; they might lack a little more bass than other wireless ear buds, but believe me, you won't miss it.
Bottom line, these are a great value.

For the price, these all wireless earbuds are a good choice. The packaging is minimal. You get the buds enclosed in a QI charging case, large and small earbud tips (the medium size are on the earbuds already), the QI charging base, a 1 foot usb-c to usb-c cable, and a usb-c to usb-a adapter. What takes the cake for me is that you can charge this with not only the usb-c cable but the QI charging base. I have a Samsung Note 8 and being able to throw either my phone or these earbuds on a QI base makes it worth not having to worry about having to carry other usb-c cables everywhere. As far as the fit goes, it takes some getting used to as far as getting a comfortable fit. Running was no problem with these on and it being rated to withstand sweat is a plus.
I cannot find any cons for these buds. Even the app is very user friendly. Battery life isnt a issue either with the charging case.

Ok, so first pair of wireless headphones, here’s pros and Cons:
Pros:
+Great battery life because they individually hold a charge, and the dock also charges them. I’d say about 6 hours of use total via USB-C
+easy to store, very mobile, comfortable enough
+Sound quality is good for something so portable
+Great app that lets you set tones and check on battery life, updates.
Cons:
- The little rubber ring around one of them came off, and it’s impossible to keep it on. Doesn’t hurt functionality, just appearance
- Hard to use at times with syncing, due to it being screenless. You have to touch the sides a certain amount of seconds to switch tracks or power off, etc
- Sound doesn’t get loud enough. I use these to block out a lot of background noise and my son has these beat :(
- Missing certain codecs that allow other devices (like Nintendo Switch bluetooth) To connect to with lag-Free listening. I notice a split second of delay in sound from time to time - not a deal breaker but something they could have avoided if they wanted to.
There you have it!

These earbuds have good sound, but the problems for me were many. The sound started dropping on the left one just 2 days after buying them. I figured it was damaged by the fact it wouldn't set properly in the charger. The right one would snap firmly in place, but the left one had to be moved in place, and never snapped. It was constantly charging off and on. These buds weren't all that comfortable either. I had to constantly adjust them. This was annoying because the touch sensitive ends would be bumped, and skip a track. Also, the double tap to pause feature didn't work until the second or third time, every time. If you tap 3 times, your voice assistant comes on. I bought them because of the 50 hour battery life case. You pay for the case in my opinion.

These bluetooth true wireless earphones are exactly what they represent. I've followed Rowkin for a while now and these are among their best yet. Battery life is extended with the recharge/storage unit, and this also doubles as a power bank for my phone. Buds fit in well with the foam tips and stay in, even while running on the treadmill or elliptical. Power and esp bass response if fantastic, with crisp clear highs as well. Very happy with this purchase.

Awesome! So many features, super easy to set up, app is intuitive.
First and most importantly, they sound really good.
I can make calls on them which is really handy in my wife's car which doesn't have bluetooth and people can hear me better than my car with the built in bluetooth.
I love that the storage case charges the headphones AND can charge my phone and I love that I can charge the case wirelessly and charge my phone on the charger too which is a super convenient bonus.
I also love the app, it has a bunch of features like finding the headphones if you lose them and the ability to change the sound profile and it's visually really clean and simple to use. I can't say enough good things about the Rokin Ascent.

I must admit that I never even heard of Rowkin before getting Accent Charge+ True Wireless Headphones. I was surprised at all the features , I’ve never seen a wireless headset that offers USB-C, Qi charging, large capacity battery charger/case, light weight, Bluetooth 5.0 , water resistance and Google Assistant/Siri integration. Wow. So do the Accent Charge+ live up to the hype? Mostly.
The set up –
Easy. Take the headphones out of case, put them next to each other and hold button for a few seconds. Done.
The, build quality, fit and finish –
The headphones look and feel like they are very high quality. They are made of metal and plastic. Strong yet lightweight. The earpieces are very comfortable and stay in securely. I had to change to the smallest ear bud for a the best fit ( you get a total of 3 sizes.) I think if Rowkin designed the ear buds to be slightly longer so it goes a few millimeters into the ear canal the sound would be even better.
The sound –
I never have high expectations for in ear headphones, whether wireless or not. However, the sound is excellent. Highs are clear , mid range is on the mark and there is a surprisingly amount of bass . As stated earlier, I think a little more refinement of the ear buds so they transfer the sound more will make the sound even better.
The controls –
Each ear piece controls a different function through gesture control . You tap different number of times based on the function you want. For example, tap 2 times on the right ear ,to play or pause. 3 times for Google Assistant. It is great on paper but it does seem to need some refinement.. Sometimes it would work , sometimes it would not. Then when I tapped more, I would not always get the function I wanted. Frankly, I would prefer a physical button that can be tapped.
Battery and charging –
The case doubles as a large battery that can charge the ear pieces and USB C devices. Definitely a nice touch to partially charge a phone if you were desperate. The case can be charged via USB-C or through the Qi charger. I was a bit disappointed in the wireless charging. I left the case on the wireless charger for over 4 hours and it did not charge. I followed the instructions carefully ( the logo on the case must be parallel to the logo on the charger ) and the blue LED was lit on the charger. On another downside, one earpiece got stuck and I could not open the case. It was my fault because I did not align the ear piece as it should but I think this will happen to other people as well.
Conclusion –
Overall, I like the Accent Charge+ True Wireless Headphones. Yes there are some minor issues but not enough for me not to recommend the headphones. At this price point, you will not find a better headphone with such a robust feature set. The sound is great, the quality is top notch and the features are great. Recommend

ROWKIN Wireless earbuds connect effortlessly when removed from charger. That have a Deep rich sound. Have jogged miles with them on and they stay in place. Once you find the correct earpiece for your ears you will not even notice you have them on. They stay in sync with any video, YouTube etc.Best wireless earbuds I have tried on the Thus far

These earpieces had pretty good sound. I gave them three stars only because it hurt my ears after a period of time. So I returned them.

One thing to keep in mind is the price. These earbuds and case carry some nice features such as the wireless charging and it comes with a charging pad. Although, the earbuds themselves need a ton of work. I thought these came with wing tips to keep them in your ear comfortably, but they dont. They fall out often....not recommended for excersizing or active work. The sound quality is alright. You can download an app and adjust the equalizer to your fit but even then, I was still not satisfied.
