Justin Timberlake is the man! While his character was a little weak, he did the best he could do and Affleck as the villain was pretty believable and well done. The plot and idea was interesting but the lack of supporting cast and accelerated plot line was the weak part of this movie. However, it was still an entertaining, smart, and thrilling movie about online poker and the underlying workings of online gambling. That makes you think about how and if it really works that way.

Overall the movie is decent while not having an overly original plot and all. The acting is pretty decent, as much as I hate to say it, Justin Timberlake has turned out to be a reasonably decent actor... no Oscar winner of course but seems to pick out roles that suit him well. Not everyone will want to run out and buy this movie but I'd suggest at least renting it and giving it a try.

Althought the movie was lengthy it was well worth it. Every detail used was needed. The plot was great and I'm sure if any college student had the chance to do that and make millions they would , but without knowing the consequences. The resolution to the movie is the best! Justin Timberlake was perfect for the part.

I bought this movie for the Justin Timberlake affect. I have seen him in concert many times and wanted to see his acting chops at work. Ben Affleck played a money driven man with no remorse and Justin, someone who wanted more from life. I enjoyed the movie. It was entertaining and locations were breathtaking.

Those who use offshore sportsbooks and casinos will appreciate this move as it brings you into the seedy world of offshore casinos and what could happen to you and your money if you deal with a crooked operation. While there are honest ones out there, the bad outfits will gut you and bleed you dry.

This review is for a movie I recently purchased. I thought the acting was very good. The characters were portrayed with knowledge of the character and direction in which the role was headed. All in all I really enjoyed the movie and this is a movie that I will watch a number of times over the years.

This movie was well done good actors lots of great action wish it was a little bit longer. The plot was easy to figure out early in the movie but great acting anyway. If there was a runner runner 2 movie I would buy it in a minute. Always remember… It was on sale and that's always a bonus.

I was intrigued by the dvd jacket as I had never heard of this movie. I was glad I purchased it. It has an interesting, yet at times unrealistic, story line. But thats why we watch movies. Timberlake and Affleck play good characters, and the action keeps you involved. Good movie.

It was a great concept. The filming was great the plot was great, although I think it could have been a little more in depth with Ben's character. Overall I would see it over though. It had a pretty good twist, that again could have been done a tad better.

I usually look movies up before purchasing them. This act usually determines whether I buy or not. This movie was pretty good, even though Timberlake isn't a good actor. This movie was beter to me than the reviews rated it.

If you like Ben Affleck and JT, then you will enjoy this movie. Sure it could have been better, but all around a very entertaining movie. Great Buy at BestBuy with the lower price than anywhere, including Amazon.

The story was actually much better than I thought it would be. Affleck and Timberlake are good together. Timberlake continues to impress me as an actor, and Affleck plays a pretty good villain.

Based on real life events this movie shows the danger of internet poker and how the "high life" can suck people into doing things against their better judgement. Loved Affleck and Timberlake

Been in a Ben Affleck funk. Overshadows justin Timberlake for his amazing acting. You can ddefinitely see he is preparing for his role as batman. A definite student surpasses teacher movie

I am a fan of action movies and I especially like movies where the mighty get their comeuppance. This is an excellent movie about the online gambling industry, where a kingpin gets taken down.

If you watched any of his other movie and enjoyed them then you would like this movie. Has the typical action that you would expect from his movie and predictability. Worth a watch.

I would recommend this movie for all Ben and Justin fans, plot was exciting and the location was nice as well. Ben was really looking good and I thought he did a great job playing a bad guy

Good movie but the plot was just so, so. Ben Affect was top notch and Justin Timberlake is coming into his own. I'd definitely recommend this to others. Entertaining because of the actor's.

No offense to JT but his acting wasn't the best. Story could have been so much better and movie had potential to be great if it had better writing. Still entertaining though.

Runner Runner was a good movie. A lot of twists and turns and keeps your interest trying to figure out how he got out of the situation. The ending was good and a surprise.
