Wont help to protect the phone especially if the phone fall

staying on the phone better this time and seems to be okay.

Good quality case its see through from the screen.

I traded this phone after 3 days so didn't get a chance to really use it. Tech that sold me the phone and case never explained all of the features. I didn't know you were supposed to be able to swipe through the cover or have a kickstand until writing this review!

So I purchased this with high expectations, and was disappointed. The only thing that you can do is answer your phone and silence your alarm. I really wish I could respond to messages with the cover close. Nope doesn't do it at all.

We purchased 2 of these at $50 each within a month they were both broken. The top cover would not stay attached to the bottom half. This provided no top cover for the phone and thus less protection in the event of a drop.

It's a pretty nifty case but I dropped my phone and mid fall the case opened and it shattered.

Don't got this case it's not worth the money, and it doesn't protect much.

My phone accidentally fell on the floor, the back now has a large crack in it. Case does not provide the protection that was advertised.

Recently purchased this case and got scratches. Do not purchase this case and waste of money.

I return it because it's always slip in my hand It's costly

I rarely write reviews, but considering how many reviews I read about the previous S-View cases scratching the screen, and many saying the same about this newest one, I feel like I should address this a little. I am the kind of person that looks and is able to find the smallest micro-scratches you can only see in certain lighting and at certain angles. BEING one of those people, I can honestly say, after having used this year's S-View case on the S8 for several months now that it does not cause any scratches whatsoever. The little plastic hard circle you see on the inside is less raised than the rubber inner lining around it. Maybe if you wear very very tight skinny jeans and it is super compressed it will scratch, but that is not the cases fault., it is your own. I can't believe how many people I know keep their phones in their back pockets(where they sit) or in pockets that are so tight it bends their phones. Anyone complaining about dirt particles getting in between and scratching the screen I would also say it's their fault. Unless you bring this to the beach, or have filthy pockets, I can't understand how this is happening. Common sense says that if you do bring your phone somewhere where particles could get stuck in between, that one would be extra carful and check for said debris before they have a chance to cause scratching. The only negative reviews I could understand about this case are its ability to protect in drops. I have never dropped it, but understand that it may not be the most protective case. I love the look, and without it wouldn't be rocking a case in the first place. It's minimalistic, and functional, and I love it!

Very upset as Best buy canceled my free case dontb

The case, while nice, had front cover separation. Samsung warranties this product for one year. Samsung has had the defective cover back at their replacement center since September 26, 2017. To date (October 29, 2017), no replacement has been sent. Calls to Samsung state they "have no record of receiving the proof of purchase", in spite of a fax confirmation and three separate email confirmations they have received the proof of purchase. Samsung does not honor their agreements.
