If you like action-thriller movies this one is definitely for you. You attempt to find out why CIA agent Frost played by Denzel Washington went bad and why they are after him. I'm not a big fan of Ryan Reynolds but he was excellent for the part of a CIA agent trying to prove himself in this one. You definitely won't be bored not for even a moment

A decent action/thriller with a few twists. You know you are always going to get a good performance out of Washington. Maybe it could have done with a bit more action, it did seem to slow down quite a bit in parts. Overall though a good entertaining film if not anything new or groundbreaking.

A treacherous tale of espionage, hide and seek violence and a young earnest field agent just trying to stay alive, sounds like a great plot to me. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The plot is predictable to a certain extent but the movie was worth the worth purchase.

Ryan Reynolds proves he can actually act not just be silly. The story line is thought-provoking and all of the characters do justice to their parts. It has some rough, violent scenes but they actually add to the plot. This is a very good movie and well-worth watching.

Pretty decent movie, good storyline but borderline acting by just about everyone involved. I mean, it was almost like they were going through the motions and not really "into" the roles. That being said, if you overlook that (which I can), it's pretty decent.

Got this due to the price Best Buy has it for and it comes with a digital copy as well. Great movie to sit down and watch with good action. I have seen it multiple times and enjoy it. Easy to sit down enjoy a snack and escape for a couple of hours.

Although I'm not a fan of Ryan,but it was really a good movie and kept me in my seat waiting for the next chain of events. Ryan really pulled it off. Denzel always seems to become the character he portrays and did not fail this time either. A should see movie.

SAFEHOUSE Movie is action packed, as well as keeping you on the edge of your seat. Denzel Washington's portrayal as Tobin Frost is outstanding. Ryan Reynolds is a very good actor who keeps you in suspense with his moves and execution throughout the movie.

If you like action-packed-spy movies then you'll love Safehouse. Great lead performances from both Denzel and Ryan make this a great thriller! I won't ruin the plot, but for any fan of the genre this definitely belongs in your collection.

I will say there was a nude shot of the hero's girlfriend from behind at the start, but the rest of the movie was clean and VERY well done in the action and plot departments. True to life in some important ways!

When I bought this combo pack, one of the discs had smudge marks on it and I had to go to another Best Buy to get it cleaned because the Dublin Best Buy did not have the ability to do that. Other than that, everything else was fine.

The movie was pretty intense and had action, psychological thriller aspects, and a deeper storyline. Upon hearing mixed reviews from several friends, I'm glad that I purchased this - as I did enjoy it quite a bit.

love the action and Denzel never fails to give us the action. he plays his role very convincing. at first you do not know if he is really a very bad man

I enjoyed the movie. It was a good addition to my collection. This is a good purchase since I have a blu ray DVD player. Great purchase.

From the opening scenes, this story of a CIA traitor and the young agent interrogating him will catch hold of you and not let go before the ending credits. Violence is prevalent but is appropriate to the story.

Denzel Washington delivers another great movie alongside Ryan Reynolds. This is a good movie to add to your Denzel collection that most people would enjoy watching multiple times.

Great action movie out here. I thought that it had all of the interest of the time that it was made out here

I'm a die hard fan of Denzel so this choice was a no brainer for me. I truly enjoyed it and look forward to watching it again soon!

I buy a lot of movies and I only buy blu-ray. Most modern movies the transfer to blu-ray is decent. For $5 this movie was well worth the price. It's an action movie that doesn't disappoint.

Any time Denzel Washington is in a movie, its hands down going to be a must see movie...this one is no different. Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington definitely work great together
