Plenty of air bubbles, shoddy installation tools, and scant instructions. First I tried the videos provided by Saharacase, but none are for an iPad. Sure, they're similar, but the iPad is larger so there are some challenges and there was no explanation for using the included centering tool. I gave it a “dry run” and guessed how to use it.
The “tools” packet contains a tiny, dry alcohol swab, two stickers to stick to the top of the protector to hold onto when centering the protector, a paper dust absorber, and a tiny cloth for wiping off the non-existent alcohol. Fortunately, I had larger cloths and other cleaning solution (for eye glasses) that also contain alcohol. Imagine my surprise when the centering stickers immediately detached from the protector! Of course, I got dirt on the screen side. The tiniest speck will cause problems and now I had lots of them. I rinsed it under cold water (what did I have to lose?) and dried it off with a small air compressor. Not perfect, but much better. Getting it on without air bubbles was difficult. I have several imperfections but I guess I'll live with those.
Despite the imperfections, I think it will function fine as a screen protector, but it's a poor value and challenging to install. Oh, and don't use the centering stickers.
You can keep the 25 points.
