We purchased this Samsung microwave to replace a GE microwave (which we had for less than six years). We use the microwave primarily for cooking vegetables and reheating foods. The Samsung microwave heats very efficiently and is much quieter than the GE. The sensor cook feature is convenient and cooks vegetables perfectly. The range light is adequate, although not as bright as some other models. Our only disappointment with the Samsung is the extremely loud exhaust fan. It's so noisy that we don't use it. Otherwise it's exceeded our expectations and is a much better product than the GE microwave. Installation instructions were straight-forward, and the Samsung fit the existing mounting system used for the GE.

Out of box to complete installation took little time and was fairly easy and goof-proof. Plugged it in and used immediately. More powerful than competitive unit I replaced. Looks good and works great.

This was sold at a great price. It was easy to install, all parts were there,and it was very quite when running. Has a beautiful stainless finish. All functions work. I believe this was a greay buy

Good microwave for the money easy to install. Cooks well

So far this has been a nice microwave. Replaced an older Samsung model which made for an easy install. Have not had any problems. Last Samsung lasted over five years, and with three kids slamming the door I consider myself lucky it lasted that long.

Anyone looking for a great microwave for a good price if buy this one. It has all the buttons like popcorn, soften/melt and even has a timer for the light which I love!!! Heats up food very quick!

This over-the-range microwave oven is worth it's price. It is a combination of style and quality. It is big enough for a large family and sits beautifully above a large range. The stainless steel and black finish is beautiful and cleans easily.

Having the microwave over the stove makes cooking a little easier. This replaced an old builder grade range hood. We had to run a dedicated breaker for the unit. After that, the install went smooth. I am a little dissatisfied with the underside light. It's not as bright as I would like. After a few weeks of using the unit, the turntable has developed a whine. We will monitor this for sure.

We replace our white microwave with this stainless steel one to match all of the appliances. We have owned this for 3 months and have used it quite a bit. So far we have had zero issues. Everything heats up great. One of the features I like is that you can turn off the turn table. The only thing I am not a fan of is the fan which recirculates the air is very loud. But it works pretty well. I was worried about other reviews stating that things tend to break with this model. I needed one that matches everything else so I bit the bullet and bought this model. I did purchase the 3 year warranty for around $40 for a safety net.

Bought microwave for kitchen remodel , fits great over stove , love under microwave night light cooks great

After working all day on my kitchen I finally got to the point where I was going to install the microwave. Everything proceeded nicely until I noticed that there was no hardware which meant I had to make yet another trip to Lowes (Sunday evening @ 7:00 PM) to buy two screws (they use a fine tpi). I really like the microwave I'm just disappointed with Samsung.

It seems to be a good value for the money. It has many options to choose from. Sleek, modern design.

Overall I love the microwave. It looks great over the stove and I love the feature of turning off turntable so you can use rectangular dish. It cooks very fast... Just a really great microwave

When we went to mount this over the range unit we found that the nuts that are suppose to be inside the top of the unit for mounting to the cupboard were missing from the factory. Called Samsung and after getting transferred a couple of times got someone I could understand. They said to take it back to the store which we did. Poor QC at the factory. Time will tell on the second one.

Overall I'm happy with this units ability to heat evenly and cook/reheat food, and the available space inside, but it seems quite noisy when it first starts up. More So than other microwaves I have had in the past, but under cabinet and freestanding.

Got this model to replace 12-year-old GE JVM1840 that quit working a week ago. I had tile (back splach) installed after the GE microwave was installed. Luckily all of the dimensions are the same, making installation super easy. Even the top 2 screws were located at the same place. This Samsung model works great. Fan was powerful. The only thing that I am not sure about is the 2-speed fan seems to be not much different (both seems to be on the high setting, which is a bit noisy). Overall very pleased with the purchase.
