My son needed a beginners netbook for his elementary school homework. I compared all of the available ones and loved the specs on this Chromebook. The price was right and I haven't regretted the purchase. I am able to monitor his internet activity and block content that is not age appropriate which is a great plus.

Bought this for my mom when her tablet went kaput!!! She absolutely loves it!!! Great laptop!!!!

This is my second chromebook and I updated to this model 2 because the ram is now 4GB. It is so easy to operate along with google play and the programs google has to offer free. I own 2 chromebooks and would take them over any windows 10 laptop. The updates are very easy and not quite as difficult on windows 10 updates that takes longer. This chromebook is very fast and accurate.

I really enjoy my chromebook and strongly recommend it to everyone. It is so easy to setup with google and anti-virus is not required. Using google cloud print is also awesome. The battery life is much longer then laptops. The speed is fast and easy to hook-up to wifi. Updates for the system are very few but much easier then windows 10.

I bought the Samsung Chromebook for my husband. He will be traveling frequently this year and will be needing to check emails, calendar appointments, give powerpoint presentations, play music, etc. He has been getting 7 to 7.5 hours charge with heavy use. He has always used a desktop computer and within the last year has been getting used to a Samsung note smartphone. So I wasn't sure how he would like the Chromebook. The operating system seems like it is between the Google apps on the smartphone and the Google Chrome of the desktop. He learned and felt comfortable within 2 weeks. The weight (2lbs) and size are perfectly portable. It goes everywhere on his travels. We lucked out and got it on sale for under $200.

Bought this for my 84 year old mother. And she loves it. She was struggling with a small tablet, so we looked for something bigger, but still small and light. It is perfect for her. She uses it daily, mainly for Facebook and banking. She couldn't be happier with it.

I bought this Chromebook thinking I might have to return it. I've used Windows, Mac, and Unix machines, but thought the Chrome OS might not offer enough capability. Well, I love it. It's easy to use, fun, and fast. I still use Windows for word processing and spreadsheet apps, because I know many commands and how to navigate the Windows apps, but I'd use the free Google apps if I didn't already have know-how in the others. Buy this--bet you'll love it too.

I AM PARTIAL TO APPLE PRODUCTS BUT THEY ARE VERY PRICEY. SINCE MY DAUGHTER TRADED HER I PHONE FOR A NEW SAMSUNG GALAXY PHONE AND PREFERS IT I STARTED LOOKING FOR A NEW COMPUTER FOR HER. FOR THIS PRICE I CAN'T BE BEAT. NOT EVERYONE CAN AFFORD AN APPLE EVERY 5 YEARS SO AND APPLE IS LIMITED IN THINGS THEY CAN NOT DO. NOW THAT MAC BOOKS ARE NOT VIRUS FREE, AND PC'S HAVE IMPROVED IN QUALITY THIS WAS WITHOUT DOUBT A GREAT PURCHASE.

My daughter needed something smaller for note taking @ college. Her laptop was too large sitting on her desk. Best Buy offered this unit as the deal of the day & we immediately bought it. We had all ready been watching these smaller units, comparing prices. It worked out great for her. Storage is more than adequate, fast processor. She is completely satisfied. Thank you Best Buy!!

Chromebooks have their own pros/cons when comparing with Windows or Mac laptops, so I won't focus on those differences. Instead, I'll say that this Chromebook has a bright, crisp display (good for streaming video), best-in-class battery life, and a slim, lightweight profile (but still feels solid). This was the perfect birthday gift for my 15-year-old budding writer.

This is my third chromebook. Through my clumsiness I destroyed the first two within 5 years. They are not easy to break but I do caution you not to step on them or drop them often. I love the size, the weight, the capabilities and the price!

If you need a fast, lightweight laptop that can handle all of your basic internet and document needs, this is it! Don't expect to use this for gaming.... think tablet with keyboard functionality.

Great for Internet browsing and google docs. Only negative is printing is not simple. Have to go through Google for that. Can't hook up directly to printer.

Yes, that was what I was looking for, price and performance. The only complication I found was that everything need to have a gmail account, because is all google/chrome OS... but it is fine!

I recently purchased this laptop as a replacement for another laptop( which will remain unnamed) which experienced a battery failure and was lees than a year old. This chromebook, being so small and light is perfect for me as I'm a commuter student and college and carry around everything I need all day. It took me several days to adjust to chrome OS but now it feels normal. Overall great product, and I got it at 179 on a flash sale, so for that, you cannot go wrong with this product.

Inexpensive, portable and do easy to use. Takes up no room on my desk.

I bought this for my 12 year old daughter who wanted one for her birthday. She is used to the technology since they used a similar one in school. The battery life is great and it performs fast.

I bought this chrome book for my sons to use when they are doing their homework. They use it every day and have never had a problem with it. It is small and lightweight.

Great product for my family. Quick to load, set up multiple accounts in seconds, easy to use, and love the power wash. My two pre-teen kids love it.
