I have always used Samsung products but with the scare they had last year with combustible cellphones and such I wasn't sure if I should upgrade my old Samsung laptop for a newer version. I ended up purchasing this laptop because I needed the extra storage and running power. I use designer programs (Silhouette) and constantly stream music and download files. This computer handles it so well and doesn't seem to run slow at all! I love the touchscreen and flip option that it has as well, great picture, and sound, doesn't seem to get hot at all for the amount of stuff I run on it and when the fan does kick on you cant really hear it. I am sure I am not utilizing it to its full potential but it is an awesome computer for college students or those who do a little extra with their computers

I have been using this computer for 6 weeks. It is quick to start up or from sleep mode. The graphics is superb. I also connect it to 2 other monitors. I use it to run a small business which includes developing and compiling code for mobile apps. It rarely gets hot and so the fan comes on occasionally for brief moments. Battery life is very good. I can work via surfing, downloading, streaming video or developing / compiling code for 3 hours (Battery life remaining 65%). If you are looking for a computer that is highly functional, fast, and gets the job done, then this is the one for you. If you are looking for a computer to impress your friends with slick looks and cool lights, then Samsung has a different model.

Bought this after much research as I do a lot of digital photography and video processing, as well as writing e-books and other mundane tasks. It has most of the traits I was searching for *except* a DVD drive - I'll add an external drive soon. This machine will replace three other old computers laying around the house. Fit and finish is superb, and worked great right out of the box. One item of note - this is the *ONLY* laptop I could find in the great Samsung lineup that was capable of upgrading the RAM (memory) to a whopping 32 GB - a large part of my purchasing decision. With the dedicated graphics processor, this machine will soon run circles around the others. I contacted Crucial.com as this machine is not currently in their "advisor" database for matching RAM modules to laptops - they should have that corrected soon, but the nice customer service person recommended this kit for upgrading the RAM : http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/ct2k16g4sfd8213 I'll have the Geek Squad install the RAM, and clone my current SSD drive to a larger, Samsung Pro 500 GB solid state drive, which should give me plenty of room for additional apps down the road. Until then, this machine is a real joy to operate, and I am enjoying that "new laptop smell". FWIW, I'm not a gamer, but this beautiful machine is FAST right out of the box thanks to the SSD with the apps on it. Boot time is incredibly fast. The keyboard has a good tactile feel, but I have not yet tried to use it in tablet mode - that's just not how I roll (I'm old). Now that my favorite apps are installed, I'm just beginning to explore all the things this laptop can do. Coming from an older iMac, the whole Windows 10 Pro thing has a bit of a learning curve, but nothing I can't handle. Screen resolution is really great right out of the gate, and I'm looking forward to using this laptop for an upcoming trip to Scotland and Ireland. If you have the $$, treat yourself to a fantastic laptop - this one !

I bought this laptop for work and absolutely love it. Just bought a new ASUS gaming laptop about a year ago because I just wanted a screaming fast laptop, but I have to say I like my Samsung MORE. The keyboard, the slim design, battery life, and the lite weight makes this laptop the best one I've ever bought.

Read reviews and most were around as to how badly the Samsung Note 7 Spin looks. Well, they wrong. Great design. As far as laptops go, you can't do better than the Samsung Note 7 Spin. Many of my software's require the number key pad. None of the so called higher priced models have this feature. Loved the Dell XPS 15, but useless without the number keys. Plus more than twice the price of the Samsung Note 7 Spin. Equal the power with more computer functionality than Any other at more than twice the price.

I spent alot of time researching my options for a 15 inch laptop before deciding on this Samsung. I am happy to report that I made a great choice - the laptop is super fast, has alot of storage space, has a separate keypad and has not given me any issues. The tablet mode for a home user is not really practical due to the screen size but as a desktop replacement it is an excellent choice.

Great laptop, I had one issue where I got a blue screen / restart issues after the first week. Luckily I had the insurance on the laptop, brought it to best buy 2 times, they were able to figure out the issue and help me out. Now the laptop works great, just had a slight hiccup in the 2nd week but works great now. The trackpad does feel different, (coming from a mac book pro), but I purchased a wireless mouse, works great with the computer. Touch screen has little to no lag. I would definitely recommend the 15.6" over the 13" for sure.

I am totally enjoying my Samsung laptop. It has a great feel. I love the touch screen and backlit keyboard. It's very fast and responsive. I got everything I was looking for in this PC. I'm still learning, but so far, so good!

This personal computer works wonderfully, sensitive to the touch and very fast, excellent to work in any place.

If your goal is to have a great laptop, with the latest high performance components, this should be your choice!! If your goal is to impress a Starbucks barista,, or other folks who can't afford internet at home because of their laptop payments, go ahead and spend two or three times as much on something flashy.

This have very nice graphics & features but a tad too big for me so I had to exchange for one without the extra 2 lbs. Otherwise, this is a great replacement for your desktops.

This is an awesome laptop for a college student. I have had it for over three months now, and haven't had a single problem. It's extremely fast, has great resolution, and features like the backlit keyboard and ten-key pad make it very easy to use. 10/10 would recommend.

I love this laptop, its so fast. I love that you just open the lid and it starts up in seconds, the only thing that sucks is the sound, very low even when turned all the way up, other then that, this is the best laptop I have ever owned

I'm primarily an Apple user but in school for IT and needed a Windows solution. I couldn't be happier with this computer. Boot time is less than 5 seconds! Full backlit keyboard! Crisp Display... It has everything.

This laptop works great. Start up is quick and no freezing issues whatsoever. I like having a combination hard drive that helps all the apps move quickly. Usually Photoshop and indesign take a while to load on other laptops but not this one. The only downside, which is not even really a downside, is the trackpad is a little too touchy.

Boot up time is extremely fast. Screen resolution and colors are beautiful. Love the keyboard !
