On line people complained about lighting. I found as long as it is not overloaded and lights covered the lighting is excellent. Storage space good. Contrary to reviews I found the icemaker not to be a sound issue.

We bought this refrigerator as part of a complete kitchen appliance upgrade. The game manufacturers play is that they have very stylized handles, so to get appliances that look the same, you have to get all the same brand. We chose Samsung because of features we like on the refrigerator and dishwasher. We have a wall on the left side of the refrigerator that limits opening the freezer door to 90 degrees. We wanted a refrigerator that has a slim profile for the things (ice maker, bins) mounted on the freezer door. The first unit delivered was DOA; the lights inside didn't even light. (Yes, it was plugged in.) Best Buy delivered a new one the next day. We heard a high pitched noise and called Samsung to see if this is normal. They said it was not and set up a service call. (Mr. Appliance of Fort Collins, Colorado; I don't recommend those guys.) Every time the service man was here things got worse. The first time he ordered a part, but when he left the refrigerator was no longer level (it was level before he got here) and the freezer door was rubbing on the wall. When he came back, he had the wrong part. He leveled the refrigerator, but then the doors were not even. The freezer door was at the bottom of its adjustment range and the refrigerator door was at the top of its range, but the freezer door was higher than the refrigerator door. When Samsung called to see how the repair went, my wife told them of our tale of woes. They immediately said they would replace the refrigerator. The third one was the charm. This unit works great. I love the digital temperature readout; no more sticking a thermometer in the refrigerator to try to adjust the temperature. Kudos to Samsung for their customer-focused approach, calling to follow up on the repair and making sure we were treated right.

Great capacity, the ice maker on the door is a plus, no loud noises, easy to operate. The only small observation... if you have small children it will probably have prints all the time because of the stainless.

My new refrigerator has more space. The freezer is easy access with drawers and more door shelves than my old side by side. There is also one more extra shelf in the frig itself. The only issue I have is the shelf settings are limited and not adjustable like my old side by side, otherwise the value is great for the options provided - in-door ice and water are used daily and work wonderfully.

Very pleased with this unit. Ice and water in door work very well. Good layout of interior . Good lighting . Easy to set up and operate .

This refrigerator works great for my needs. The ice maker is making very good ice cubes. The only problem I have is the slide out draws when full are a little hard to slide out. But I'm enjoying this refrigerator. The refrigerator and freezer cooled down quickly and is staying at the programmed temperature.

Ice maker is awesome! Lots of room. However a little loud.

This fridge is a good balance between functionality and price. It makes some interesting noises periodically, perhaps the compressor or ice machine working, however, it can't be heard from the adjacent living room, so it is not a problem. Otherwise, it is quiet. The Through the Door ice and water is nice, however there is a few second delay after pressing the lever, as the motor runs before it drops ice. The ice production rate appears sufficient. It definitely produces more ice than what two people use in a day. It seems to be a good use of the 24.5 cubic feet of space and the fact that the ice maker is in the door seems to allow for more room in the freezer. We bought the extended warranty since the Through the Door water and ice makers seem to be the most common problems across any brand and specific unit, but we have not had any problems in the month we have had the unit so far.

Exactly the right size for our small family. Very quiet, ice maker never empty. The LED lighting is easy on the eyes. Like the drawers in freezer as well as 3 drawer on refrigerator side. Water and ice dispenser work well. A couple drips after shut off no problem. Previous Samsung did same thing. This is 2nd side by side Samsung. Sold last one with house. Comfortable replacing it with upgraded model.

We have had the fridge for about 6 months. My wife felt the fridge side wasn't getting as cold as it should. After I lifted the fridge off the front rollers and leveled it out she said it seems to be much colder despite the fact the temp reading didn't change. We do have the gurgling but I have read mixed reasons why that happens and I'm not concerned with it all. Ice and water are working great. We had a water cooler before (with those big bottles) that worked awesome but so far we haven't had a need to set it back up. The cost of the bottled water almost offsets the cost of filters but adding in the convenience of not having to lug those large bottles offsets any extra cost for me. Ice drops are a little loud but not much louder than my previous fridge. I have had only one ice jam and not ever having an in door ice dispenser just left it jammed. Unfortunately, the jam left the small door the ice falls out open a little which allowed warm air to enter the dispenser and was melting the ice. So I had a small puddle from that which taught me valuable lesson .... never leave it jammed. My bad. I will add the jam was easy to clear and it hasn't happened since. Other than that one incident, we haven't had any water problems with the ice and water dispenser. Also, no problems with the freezer side. Both sides are very well lit too.

The Samsung refrigerator is an upgrade from our old one which was 16 years old. Although it was still functional we wanted something in stainless and with an in the door ice dispenser. This refrigerator had the ice dispenser, water dispenser and best of all the ice maker is in the door not in the main freezer. This frees up a lot of space. The refrigerator side is very well laid out and every shelf and door compartment is adjustable. The fast freeze and fast chill option is great as well.

this frig is hugh and deep somewhat dawrfs the counter though in retrospect..doesnn't blend in, stands out past counter .Holds lots of stuff but is missing some of the pricey feature that could have been installed like roll up and down adjustible shelfs .needs ONE more shelf in freezer.otherwise is a great buy for this much frig.keeps everything at a constant temp that you control .lOVE THE DIGITAL CONTROLS!wish they were brighter to see them more clearly,old eyes I quess.

We've had this fridge for about 6 months now and I have been very happy with it. It looks great even though with stainless steel it can smudge easily and it functions amazingly. There's plenty of space, plenty of light and it is just a great fridge. It also is very quiet when it is running. The only thing that I have noticed is that the ice dispenser, when set to use cubes, tends to break the ice up a bit instead of dispensing the full cubes.

I've read some other reviews and have to say this washer has been great for our family of six. We replaced an old washing machine with agitator and wasn't sure how good this one would clean clothes. Well it does great! Hold 3 loads of laundry or a king size comforter. It uses less detergent and water. It isn't loud and has many options to wash. It has great review on consumer report. The price is great for this machine too. We are happy with it.

This refrigerator is attractive and has lots of nice interior space. It was almost everything I expected. I made sure to get a model with an exterior light by the water/ice dispenser. It does an excellent job of keeping everything at the temperature noted on the display. The ice make is a little noisy but that's not a big drawback to me as my bedrooms are not close to the kitchen. My two complaints are that the water dispenses extremely slowly and the display buttons to change the exterior ice/water dispenser from ice to water are hard to read and do not light up. Since my kitchen is fairly dark, I have had to fumble around the touchpad a little to find out what area to press to change the dispenser from water to ice and back again.

I bought this refrigerator in a package with all new appliances for my kitchen. It looks great, has lots of storage space, the shelves are sturdy, and I like the temperature controls. The only problem we have is that the ice maker is smaller than our previous one and it makes a lot of weird noises when producing ice. It seems we downgraded in that area.

I love this refrigerator! It's a great upgrade compared to the old white Kenmore refrigerator that I originally had. I enjoy having the ice maker in the door and all of the digital features on the door! the blue LED lights on the screen is lovely and it looks very high class. It has lots of space so you can organize your food. I love the spill proof glass shelves and the really big storage bins. Best fridge ever.

Overall, the Samsung refrigerator has been a good purchase. The freezer is designed well, great placement of the ice maker. Good lighting & great overall design.

arrived with a scratch on both sides and a dent on the front. bit it had already been 4 weeks without a refrigerator so we kept it. Love the size but it does make more noise than I thought it would
