Recently purchased this refrigerator and I am well pleased so far. I did not need the hose that I purchased because I had a built in hose attached to the wall already. Will return it for a refund. The space on this unit is unbelievable. The ice and water dispensers are working perfectly. The icemaker is very silent, no noise whatsoever. It makes a lot of ice, the tray hasn't been empty since and we're a family of 8. Ice is always available. The bestbuy service team members were professional. They removed and installed my new refrigerator in less than 40 mins. Great purchase and I will definitely recommend this refrigerator.

Well, no one can argue that this is a good looking fridge with bells and whistles - however, the door that allows you to have easy access to sodas and milk? The insulation around the inside is all bunched up in three places which suggests bad seal. Also, the thing is huge and I had no idea it would take up so much space. I wish I had bought the counter-depth model, but it was quite a bit more expensive for less fridge - go figure.

We loved the door feature of this fridge and the location of the icemaker. After purchasing, we were disappointed that the words for the control panel for ice/water are not lit so it is very hard to read them. Also, some of the bins don't pull out far enough to get items in the back. This refrigerator also does not qualify for energy compliant rebate from Snohomish County PUD. It is a good fridge but probably would have bought a different one had I known issues.

We enjoy the fridge. It looks stunning as a set. It is extremely noisy. Also, you have to make sure the doors are shut. (Once the freezer unthawed because the door was barely cracked). I am unsure if I got a dud but if Samsung would respond with a comment instead of me having to call and wait on hold that would be great!

I am very happy with this refrigerator, it keeps things the right temperature, freeze is very cold 0 degrees and there is a lot of space inside. The quick access door for milk and soda is very nice and convenient and worth the extra money for us. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was 1) the ice maker when depending is very loud..much loader than the 21 year old fridge it replaced. 2) The shelves are not adjustable. On the door all the tall container fit fine, but the base inside seems like if they could have made the space on one of the shelves a little taller, things like a 2-liter pop would stand upright better.

Waiting on our third Samsung refrigerator to be delivered. First one damaged, black stainless coating was chipped and bubble markings. Second one has a dent in the door, great stuff foam oozing out top corner and doors not flush when closed. Hopefully the third time is a charm! I own many Samsung products, but the quality seems to have dropped significantly! Wasn't even offered any kind of discount for the inconvenience!

The refrigerator is great however I expected it to be better. This is because whenever I use the water dispenser it drips a few times after pulling away my cup. I love the showcase door, simply because it is easier to reach things quickly. I prefer the solid shelves in the freezer so this was great. The alarm gets annoying if you do larger grocery shopping and try to load everything into the fridge at one time. On the other hand it is nice because I know the fridge is shut. The display for the fridge and freezer shows the temperature of each side which is nice. There is also the option of quick freeze and refrigerate. I have only owned them for a month so I am unsure how they will last in the long run. Overall I would recommend this side by side to a friend.

I love the ergonomics of this frig. From the showcase door that keeps the inside cool while my husband get the milk, the ketchup and whatever else out from the door without having to get into the main frig area to the side by side doors that offer me more freezer space and in a way that I can easily organize and see what the heck is in the freezer. I love all the bin space too, even in the freezer! So there is actually room for all the veggies and things can be organized so much easier. Also loving the cold water/ice machine in the door. No more having the freezer door completely open while my hubby tries to fill his glass with ice cubes. I love everything about it. The stainless steel is so much easier to keep clean as well. If I had one wish it to improve my experience it would be, all the same features in a frig that isn't as deep (wall to front), our galley like kitchen is challenged in that way. Hey, maybe I just want a bigger kitchen instead! :) The ONLY thing that went wrong with this product wasn't the product, it was the delivery. It took them 3 tries to deliver the right frig. So if you order this make sure the delivery office knows that the last two letters on the model number are SR not just S or you'll keep getting the dressed down version with out the showcase door. And believe me, you want the showcase door!!!

The number of shelves and drawers makes storage easy for a lots of food on both the refrigerator and freezer size, and the interior is well lighted so that you can easily find what you want. This unit is much quieter than my previous refrigerator. I thought the showcase door was more a gimmick than something I would use, but find I really like getting things like condiments from the door shelves without having to open the entire refrigerator.

It does what it is supposed to do. And as a long time Samsung product owner I think this one should be left aside. Far less quality than my old 13 yrs old one. The lack of a crisp temp control is no good. Ice maker is too small, water and ice dispenser switch with button does get annoying sometimes. The full display door is great. In fact that is the 2nd reason why this fridge is good -only because the other great thing is that it is a true dual zone system with dual evaporator coils, that means that your fridge or freezer can continue to work if either side is damaged. Other than that this refrigerator offers nothing to be wowed about and for the price... A little too high for the actual quality of the materials used.

After researching and reviewing every fridge out there, I settled on this Samsung. As we access the freezer often, I wanted to stick with a side-by-side model. The digital touchscreen panel comforts me with its instant info on temps for the fridge. The drawers are spacious. The reach-in access door is handy and we all use it often. The only drawback, and it's a slight one, is that narrow cups or glasses must be tipped slightly forward to ensure the water dispenser doesn't miss the opening as the spigot is set a bit more forward than is customary. It's good looking. Streamlined exterior design. And I feel safe with the Samsung rep in the fridge industry. The 10-year warranty on the compressor affords peace of mind.

Nice fridge, but if you use a lot of crushed ice like i do, chunks of ice will get behind ice dispenser and eventually melt and cause big puddles of water that will run down front of fridge that can cause water stains on the stainless steel. Geek squad was told by SAMSUNG to apply aluminum duct tape so ice can't fall behind ice dispenser which did stopped the ice from getting trapped, but seriously A $2000.00 fridge repaired with duct tape? Was super quiet at first but 2 mos later getting a ticking or tapping sound from compressor / fan and just noticed rubber seal that seals freezer door not sealing on bottom left hand corner. Making another call to geek squad soon.

This is a replacement for our GE side by side which stop freezing on the freezer side. 3 features I love, quick chill and freeze features, showcase door (quick and easy access to most used item, and energy saver feature. Very roomy, and quiet. Love it! Only downside is fingerprints on the stainless steel is not easy to wipe off.

Samsung makes a beautiful product. This fridge is no exception. Storage is good and the "door in door" feature makes for easy accessibility. My issue is with the water dispenser. Moments after pulling your cup away it dribbles water... Enough to irritate you.(maybe a teaspoon each use) The finish leaves highly visible water marks and is not very scratch resistant. It did not stand up to my 2 year old with magnetized fridge toys. We have plenty of scratches after just 2 weeks of use. The fridge is a solid build and I don't anticipate any problems, but if water dribble bothers you I would try a different model.

My new Samsung refrigerator not only looks great in my kitchen, it's also very functional and has a great design. The showcase door comes in handy for access to drinks, condiments and other quick access items. My refrigerated items stay fresher longer than my prior refrigerator. I love this new fridge. Only drawback and it doesn't bother me at all, is the noise from the ice maker. It is a little on the loud side, however, once the ice compartment is filled there isn't much noise from the new ice dropping in, just when you go to dispense ice. I wouldn't consider this a hindrance when deciding on this fridge as it has turned out to be an overall excellent choice.

Nice appearance and very quiet running (except when water goes in the ice maker). Maintains temp very well. Nice interior layout and good space. Could use a little more flexibility in the shelves' adjustment range. Easy to operate and understand the control panel. Time will tell on overall dependability.

The frig itself is great. Excellent size. The pass through door works great as well. I'm trying to find out and not quite sure about the freezer door. When getting ice there is a lag. Not really sure why but seems enough to make notice of it. I unboxed the frig and have noticed that there is no catch for water or anything on the bottom of water/ice part of the door. Not sure if it wasn't designed with one or it was lost before being packaged. I've been busy and haven't had a moment to figure that issue out. The ice maker seems to work good but is a little noisy I'm guessing due to it being In the front and not the back. Not really a big deal as everything. Is away from the kitchen and only hear it if your in the kitchen. It's not loud enough to hear except closely to it. All in all a great frog though.

I love the door in the door and the alarm that tells you the door was left open. The only flaw so far is that sometimes the ice flies out and water drips down the front of the freezer door. Other than that, I love it.

I love my new refrigerator. I love the showcase door. I keep waters, soda, juices, coffee creamers and condiments on this outer door. This way, they are right there. No need to swing open the entire refrigerator door. I wanted new appliances but I don't care to open two doors to look around for what I need. The water from the dispenser is cold. Yes, the ice dispenser is a bit slow but, not too bad. Love it!! (No tilting the frig either to get the doors to work properly)

Have waited a long time to make this type of purchase and this has been a really nice investment. It's perfect the size, the look, the features. The area in the fridge is big, your able to see the items in it, a lot of items fit in the side compartments, the reminder on the door if left open. The freezer is also very nice and spacious. In all it's fantastic.
