I just wish you could turn off the function where it automatically opens (to help dry the dishes). When it's hot in the summer I would prefer not to let hot steamy air out into the house. I also appreciate the Express wash 60 minute option and almost always use it instead of the normal 3 hour wash.

I have had some issues with all the detergent dispensing and the unit fully drying but it’s a huge upgrade from my GE washer. Also had to use my previous mounting bracket during installation because the ones provided didn’t work well with my cabinets.

I called Samsung when the dishwasher stopped working after a month or two and had to call an electrician . Samsung determined the dishwasher was operational but there was a problem with the power supply. The electrician removed the dishwasher and found the plug had worked loose from the connection and the dishwasher was improperly attached to the cabinet and the power plug was no longer attached to the wall.

The three racks are very useful, and designed to move to accommodate larger dishes. The price is a little steep, but if you can afford it, get it.

Be careful Best Buy Associate do not mention that you will needs to buy an electric cord for connect your dishwasher, they only mention the hose connection. The wash cycles are a little long compared to my previous Maytag dishwasher. Very quiet when it is running. It would be nice if the control panel light up on background to see the different option a little better...

It Has One Job and It's Terrible At It

For pros, it is very quiet, and I appreciate that it sort of sings at you when it's done and it opens the door a bit when it's finished to help air dry the dishes I guess. As for cleaning (it's one job), I do not know exactly why we have had such a rotten time with it when there are so many glowing reviews, but we desperately miss our old Kenmore. It does not consistently clean anything for us except silverware that we put in the top tray. At first when we were having issues I meticulously went through the manual to make sure we were placing dishes correctly. We made adjustments to how we handled pans in particular since we had been placing them incorrectly, but it did not help. Almost every time we run it we have to take items out and hand wash them or leave them for a second run. It's unclear why we even have this appliance at this point and we're seriously considering donating it and getting something else if we can scrape together the money.

Dinner dishes don't fit

Neither set fits in the dishwasher. The top spray wheel hits them. Perhaps there is a way of adjusting the top spray wheel

Thank you for your review. We are here to help with your concerns with the dishwasher.
The lower rack can accommodate plates up to 12 inches in diameter and the upper rack can accommodate plates up to 8 inches in diameter.
The top spray/nozzle could not be adjusted but the height of the upper rack could be, it as well could be removed. Please refer to pages 16 - 18 of this model's user manual I have shared below for steps in adjusting the height or removing the upper rack.
In addition, please refer to pages 21 - 22 of this model's user manual for a guide to loading the racks.
