Not sure how the other reviews for RF26HFENDSR/AA missed the glaring fact that the unit does NOT come with water filtration - despite the claim "Icemaker water filtration system: Removes impurities for clean, clear ice. Filter indicator light shows you when the filter needs changing." It should've said "OPTIONAL" water filtration with a disclaimer stating "additional installation required." This is NOT about water filter not included with the unit - I can always buy one myself; This is about the missing information that I need to install EXTERNAL water filtration for the unit. External filtration is NOT considered a part of the unit's integral "features". If I have to install external water filtration separately, then it is no different from any other refrigerator that does not come with a built-in water filtration system. As a result, I feel that I have been misled by the claim that the water for the automatic icemaker will be filtered without additional installation. As a result, the water filter listed under the "Accessories" page (Model: HAF-CIN, SKU: 9923128) is an INTERNAL filter and does NOT work for this unit. Even Samsung's own website contains the WRONG information on installing a water filter for RF26HFENDSR/AA (http://www.samsung.com/us/support/howtoguide/N0000206/883/34040/Y/RF26HFENDSR/AA). I've already spent way too much time trying to track down the correct water filter and installation instruction for this unit. One last thing: A day before I submitted the same review to Samsung's website, the unit had 0 reviews. After I contacted them about this discrepancy, it suddenly had 3 5-star ratings. Be weary of the all the "excellent" reviews. Hopefully this review will not be censored.

They delivered right into my house, great service. Its been 3 months now the Fridge works very well. Only problem is the ice maker is not too well designed, the ice keep drop to the bottom every time when open the door.

Is an awesome refrigerator! After reading the favorable reviews on best buy.com I decided that this would the refrigerator to purchase. The delivery was on time! And the delivery men were courteous and very helpful. The refrigerator is very spacious and they configured perfectly! If I can give those guys 10 stars, I will !!! They're amazing!:) very good service from Best Buy!

Easy to see everything in both the refrigerator and freezer. The split shelves make it easy to arrange things s I need to.

This fridge is a bit noisy at time but overall a good fridge given the price.

For the first 1.5 years or so I absolutely LOVED this fridge. All my family and friends admired it and were envious of its looks and design. Then starting last summer when the weather got really hot, the fridge could not keep up and a freezing temp could not be maintained. All frozen foods melted. After the heat wave ended , it went back to normal but only after I had to throw all of my once frozen meat out. I am out of warranty. so I am also guessing I am out of luck. Too bad - otherwise I loved it! I also notice that I often get ice in the bottom of the veggie trays. Weird. Sorry. I cant recommend it unless maybe you get an extended warranty of some sort.

Great secondary fridge for all our surplus food and enough space for everything we need.

I was so excited to get this fridge before Christmas, 7 months old and it quit working. 15 days later, still dealing with customer service at Samsung because it still isn't working.

It's a very attractive refrigerator, and so far, I've had no problems with it for the last year and a half. The power cool/power freeze features are great. The freezer doesn't have as much storage space as my old side by side, so that's something to consider if you need a lot of freezer space. For me, it wasn't an issue.

thick sheet of ice builds up under the crispers and had to chip away and clean up the mess monthly. samsung says theres no fix and is aware of the problem. I'm not going to pay every month for a service to come in and verify codes on the fridge just to tell me that the coils need to be defrosted with a hairdryer. waste of money and terrible customer service. stick to electronics NOT appliances

I have been buying Samsung products for sometime now, and I've yet to be disappointed. Good product for the money. And, if not, I feel confident their warranty program will "fill" any gaps.

The product looks nice but if it breaks you are in for a nightmare !!! Weeks without your fridge. I know the call takers script they read by heart and can repeat there Samsung slogan in my sleep ! Worst experience ever!!

Ordered this Frig 1/5/2015 was delivered 1/9/2015 with a huge scratch and several dents and I was told they would take $80.00 off which was a insult .They left with the frig I got no phone call or e-mail letting me know anything. called 1/12/15 and asked for a refund and was told it would take 7-10 business days..REALLY it didn't take that long for them to receive the money. I will NEVER purchase anything else from them again.

DO NOT BUY!!!! Do Not Buy Any Samsung Product!!! This fridge failed within the first year warranty. No repair person will service Samsung products because of their shoddiness and chronic repeat failures (ask your local repair shop if they would recommend, if you don't believe me). Samsung customer service closed my repair ticket 5 times without telling me, forcing me to start the repair/replacement process over and over. One service rep will tell you one thing, and the next will deny that and tell you some new lies. Even if you have the receipt and hire an independent servicer to prove the failure, they will make you wait 2-4 WEEKS to repay you for their broken products. That will put me at 5 weeks without a fridge in the house. And oh yeah, they will not repay you for all the wasted food in your fridge that can not last the 5 weeks without refrigeration while they continue to cancel my claims. We have had a Samsung phone, which was recalled because it overheated and threatened to catch fire. We had a Samsung top-load washer, which was recalled because it threatened to shoot the lid of the machine off while washing bedding. We had a Samsung TV, which has been proven to spy on those who own it by turning on recording devices in the product. Now we have a Samsung Fridge that cannot be replaced despite being under warranty. Samsung makes horrible products at a low price with pretty finishes. Don't fall for it! Their products will fail, potentially harm you, and they will not live up to their own warranty. Please, do yourself a favor and buy a GE or Whirlpool appliance that lives up to the contract they make with their customers.

My Samsung French Door refrigerator is junk. (Samsung ticket numbers 2135030643 and 5113108447.) Water collects below the crisper drawers and usually freezes. This is a good thing, because when it doesn’t freeze it leaks out onto the floor. This week the water also collected at the base of the freezer. The ice got so thick the freezer door wouldn’t close, causing our frozen food to spoil. Granted my Samsung French Door refrigerator is a couple of years old, model RF197-ACCRS, but is it worth taking the chance?

Started breaking after 5 years. I’ve dealt with it’s issues for last year or so but now I’ll have to replace. Should not be breaking down after 5 years but hey that’s Samsung for ya! Everything they make seems to break down after warranty.

Look up any samsung refrigerator with bottom freezer door on YouTube. They are widely know for leaks in or under the crisper drawers in the refrigerator. There is a design flaw that samsung is aware of to two components that either will cause the problem. The defrost drain freezes due to the metal piece doesn't go down far enough to keep the drain to unfreeze. The fix is a 4-6 dollar part. The other flaw is the drain tubes to the back of the fridge. Those clog up due to the design easily. Again a 10 dollar part will fix the problem and many kits have both due to how common both are. There really should be a recall on these refrigerators and samsung should make these updates on all future refrigerators since they know about the issues.
