Samsung has a long track record of horrible ice maker issues. They can not get it fixed they have bandaid repairs and keep selling this horrible design. We have repaired this this 5 times and still does not work correctly.

Shortly after buying this piece of junk the ice maker had to be replaced, then the auger, then another ice maker and now the third ice maker. Samsung was willing to give NO HELP whatsoever. There is a huge class action on this ice maker problem. DO NOT BUY !

This is an update to my previous review. The showcase door issue I have still exists, though a bit better functioning after a second visit by a Geek Squad technician. I've concluded that this door will never work as advertised or demonstrated in the showroom. So buyer beware.

My refrigerator looks good. But that one need to change the right door. The other things are good for me

Wanted the optional half door to avoid energy loss and it’s bot working.

doors do not open as far as i would like them to open. they hit very hard if opened toofast

I like this refrigerator, especially the middle drawer feature and the access to filtered water and ice. It actually has more space than my now defunct expensive Viking refrigerator. I hope it continues to function longer than that Viking.

The right door is not working properly. Two service men came to fix it and still not working right. The right door is not leveled right and doesnt open the way it should open the cooling door.

4.5 years later and the ice maker doesn’t work. I read reviews for days to find the best refrigerator for pure family. $2500 for less than 5 years is horrible!

Purchased this fridge and had home delivery. They dented the side of the fridge trying to force it into the spot. The door was also not leveled. I tried calling the store numerous times and was given the run around. I was told beforehand that that they would level it which they did not! I called samsung about a month of attempting with best buy only for samsung to say that I needed to contact them within 30 days of the purchase. Very frustrated. Will not believe what Best buy advertises in the future!

This is a total piece of junk! It only lasted 5 years and quit working right after the warranty ran out. I have had repaired 3 times and it is still not keeping the inside part at safe food temperature. The display temperature is only for show does not do anything. I put an internal thermometer inside after realizing it was not cooling properly and constantly throwing food away. Just had a Samsung technician here a week ago and now it 50 degrees on the inside and it is set to 35 degrees. DO NOT BUY!

I love this refrigerator. Outwardly it was the same specs LxWxH as our old side by side, but the room in this is sooo much bigger! We removed our full old refrigerator stocking the same food, condiments, and beverages in the new one and it felt empty! This is perfect for the upcoming holidays when there are leftovers galore that we usually can't fit in our fridge. Also, we purchased during Black Friday prices so it was a steal! I find the fridge very quiet despite what other reviews have said; it's just a low soothing hum. Also, I've read other reviews reporting dripping in between water dispensing or ice dispensing. I'm not finding that at all, but we followed instructions from Samsung on YouTube. Once you've installed your new Fridge, there will likely be air bubbles caught in the tube that you have to release by dispensing about 3 gallons of water. It will also clean out your new tubes. Initially, we noticed the dripping too, but once we "primed" the water dispenser, there is no excess dripping or leaking. You will have to repeat a similar procedure when you change your water filter. Just look up "French door Samsung refrigerator" on YouTube and you will find all kinds of useful and troubleshooting short videos directly from the Samsung manufacturer. Fortunately, our contracted Best Buy delivery guys also gave us the same advice. I'd venture to say not all contracted deliverers would know and be able to share this info. Anyway, hope that helps! Love this fridge. Only complaint is there are some narrow shelves around the ice dispenser that we're having trouble finding products to fit. Even butter bars don't fit! In the end, we use some prescription gel tubes that have to be refrigerated there. Going from little room to so much room, I can't really whine. I highly recommend!! Go get it!

Louder then the first one we got. Right side door won't stay open. Makes it difficult to put things in when door keeps closing. Currently looking to replace this fridge

With no fixing the loud noice and cooling issues the fridge started having after 2 years of perfect working order geek squad replaced with a new fridge.

We bought two Samsung Refrigertors in 2016. both are not working. I would absolutely think twice about purchasing a Samsung refrig. The compressors are both shot after 4 years. My local Appliance repair company stated that no one will work on Samsung refrigertors. So you have to unplug for at least 12 hours and then it will work. but you don't have any idea when it will freeze up again. Stick to phones and tvs!
