This thing is huge. Delivery guys had to remove both doors and carry it with straps over their shoulders to get it in our kitchen. Hats off to the Best Buy contracted delivery guys! Our old one was 18 years old and dying slowly so we love this one just because it's new. All the guts are completely covered so no dust catching heat exchanger to clean. The ice maker works great but the chilled water is not very chilly. Our old one was much better at delivering cold water. All the bluish LED lights on the back wall look really cool when it's in the showroom but once you fill it with food it gets dark. We have to arrange things to avoid blocking all the light. Maybe were just not used to the idiosyncracies of stainless steel but it gets a smeared look pretty fast and lots of drip marks under the ice/water dispenser. All told though, we're pretty happy with it.

I love the look and features of this refrigerator. It has a wine rack and bottle holder in the doors. The stainless steel is beautiful, I like the digital features that also look modern, and the led lighting is also a good look. On the down side, the functionality could be a little better. I wish the shelves were designed so that taller items could be put in the shelving area. In example, a gallon of milk can only stand up in the shelves inside the door, not on one of the shelves. I love the look of the wine rack, but if the bottle is different from a standard bottle it also will not fit in the rack. The temperature is just where I want it to be, nothing gets frozen in the refrigerator, but it stays cold. It does have a lot of space in both the fridge and freezer.

This is the most annoying fridge I have ever owned or used. It looks great in the store and is very energy efficient, but is not designed well and the quality out the door is at best poor. The ice dispenser has to be the worst feature. After you get your ice, you need to wait with a glass under the dispenser for about 5-10 seconds for the ice dispenser door to try and swing closed (which at this point more ice falls out, usually all over the floor because you forgot to stand there like an idiot waiting for the fridge to finish what it was doing). Sometimes the door gets jammed by a piece of ice while it is closing and makes a horrendous noise like the front of the freezer is going to come off and you need to stick your hand up there to dislodge the ice, hoping it won't take part of your finger off as you do. Most of the time the door (which isn't insulated) won't seal all the way so the ice sitting in the dispenser melts slowly all day long and jams the dispenser forcing removal of the whole ice container from inside the freezer. This container (which by there way there is no way to reach in and get any ice from without removing the whole thing) is nearly impossible to get back in the door and I have never been able to do it with any ice remaining in the container. The instructions are to try and jam it in, if it doesn't go then turn the dispenser arm 90 degrees, then jam it in, then turn the dispenser arm, but I always end up just throwing all the ice out because it jams the dispenser arm from moving so I have never successfully gotten it back in the door with any ice still in it. Meanwhile, the door alarm is dinging and you're trying to jiggle and pound on each corner while you're holding the door from swinging into the wall. What a nightmare! I can't tell you how many times I've had 20-30 pieces of ice dumped out all over my kitchen floor from screwing with this dispenser. Quality is horrible. Ours arrived with parts taped inside (like the door bins) secured for shipping that were broken in pieces. Samsung customer service blamed Best Buy and said it wasn't their fault so they weren't going to cover it under the warranty. Luckily, Best Buy stepped up and got new pieces shipped directly to me (for not just this fridge but also the Samsung dishwasher we ordered which needed a whole new rack and various plastic parts for the same reason "broken during shipping"). About 2 weeks after we had been using it, the child lock (which we never used) decided to "lock itself" and wouldn't unlock. None of the controls in the lower right corner would work. It took about a week just to get the work order into Samsung's system and a couple e-mails saying they cancelled the repair for no reason and call backs asking if it was still broken (idiots). After almost a month waiting for backordered parts (a whole new circuit board larger than any computer I've got) with no ice or water dispenser, we finally got a "working" fridge. Design is poor. The shelves appear to be adjustable within reason, but in practical use they don't adjust to fit most normal-sized products. For example, there is room in the door for 2 gallons of milk, but if you get another one there's nowhere to put it. None of the shelves are tall enough to put one without removing a shelf entirely. And the same goes for any bottle over 9 inches (two shelves can be maxed out at 9 inches). This means there is no way to put a normal 10 inch tall juice container anywhere but in a door bin (and we had to remove one so there was enough room for both bottles and milk). If you choose to get this appliance, you'll want to add a couple plastic bumpers to the ice/water dispenser lever. It is cheap plastic that scratches very easily so after a couple times getting water it looks horrible. Luckily, when they replaced all the electronics and the touchpad on ours we got a whole new lever and I was able to protect the new one from scratching. After having multiple GE, LG, and Whirlpool appliances, I would recommend Whirlpool. GE gives you just enough to meet the minimum requirement to call it an appliance, I have no idea what Samsung is thinking, LG has been great, but the best designs thinking of the customer I can see is Whirlpool. I will not buy another Samsung appliance - period.

Love the depth of the of the freezer and fridge. Holds twice as many groceries. The fridge does not get cold enough. Shelves are not adjustable. Drawers open from the bottom instead of the top. Fridge is noisy. Love the ice maker in the door, it just doesn't make enough ice.

Samsung knows how to design a fridge. The freezer has remarkable space, the twin coolers keep the vegetables much fresher and humidified. The doors are very deep and able to hold multiple jugs of milk. Unlike some other owners, the ice-maker has worked flawlessly, although slowly, and the dispenser works great (no flying cubes from the chute). Incredibly, this huge 30 cubic foot fridge fits in the same external space as our older 25 footer. Love the LED lighting and we can already see a reduction in electrical usage on our bill. We love this fridge!

How can anyone get giddy about a refrigerator? Well, this is more than a refrigerator, it's a scientific box of mixed temperatures. All refrigerators keep things cold, that's a given. This thing let's you set temperatures you did not know were possible. The quick cool down feature is great, actually it's awesome. Ever get stuck in traffic coming home from the supermarket with frozen items in the car and now you are running the air conditioner on high in hopes that everything doesn't defrost before you make it home? No? Really? You must have a wonderful highway system where you live (and I suspect there are unicorn crossing signs there too...) and I envy you. I love this machine because I can revise my frozen packages with the quick cool down in as much as a defibrillator will bring back the dead. AND you can actually set the temperatures of both sides of the unit in actual degrees and not just "low" or "high". Lights inside are wonderful, nothing hides the dark anymore, you can see all the food in there. Stylish? But of course. Does it have an energy saver? Yes it does. Is it quiet? Absolutely. Can I stuff 30 cubic feet of food in there? NO. It's 29.6 cubic feet and that's plenty. Works great and I have not one regret of purchasing this silver fox.

We bought this fridge as a replacement for 6 year old LG. it's amazing how much space this fridge has. So much that after we put this one in it looked like we had no food! Our old fridge wasn't a small capacity fridge either! It's very nice to go grocery shopping and KNOW there is room for whatever we buy. We especially like that the ice maker is in the door and now we have lots of freezer space. With all that space it does stick out from the counters a lot. At first it bugged my wife, but she no longer minds and she has said the extra space more than makes ups for it! Since this fridge is large and we took it home with us from our store we weren't prepared for how big it really is. We had to take off the front door to the house and the handles off the fridge. There are directions for how to take off the doors if needed. It's also VERY heavy at 300 lbs. so get some help to move it into position. Don't let it scare you, it's all not very difficult; just be aware. One last thing, it took the ice maker about a day to kick in with real ice production. The first night it made 2 ice cubes and I was sure we got a dud, but I waited until that evening and it was going full steam ahead. In all a very good purchase and we are very happy!

This is Very cool refrigerator ! Its huge so you can put lots of stuff. There is beer/bottle areas too ! It has cool lights when you open either side. Unfortunately when I got this the ice maker is not working =( Other than ice maker, I really love this refrigerator !

This is a great refrigerator for the price. I recently moved from a home with a sub-zero and it does not have all the features of that, but it is also a fraction of the price. It is very large capacity and runs extremely quiet. However, the shelf settings are very limited. I was unable to place beer bottles on any of the shelves. The only place that would hold them was the door and a 12 pack would not fit, plus they rattled around every time you opened and closed the door. I finally had to tack the cool wine rack feature out to make the beer bottles fit on a shelf. So, I guess Samsung only wants you to drink beer or wine, not both :-)

This applience has doubled our cold and freezer space, comparing to the smaller 18 cubic it replaces and a little bar one we used to store drinks. The shelves do not move so all tall items must go on the 2 doors shelves which limits . You can take a front shelf out but I found that we have to limit buying large containers ( ware house things like super size juices, salad dressings, Hershey's syrup, and do smaller containers .)

Design, space and functionality is very good. The price a little high but worth it. We have the refridgerator now for a month. Every thing works properly.

This refrigerator is beautiful and efficient. It stands out as a beautiful piece in my kitchen and I love the design. I chose the 2 door instead of the french doors with a third or fourth door for a freezer because I already have a freezer in the basement. This fridge gives me lots of space for fruits and vegetable.

This refrigerator has plenty of space for anything you throw at it. My only complaint is that you cannot set the temperatures below -2 for the freezer and 34 for the fridge. Other than that, I wish the light on the inside was brighter. It always maintains a steady temp.

I really love this frig. It's my favorite. It's huge and has room for everything. The light inside the frig is bright yet not blinding. It's illuminates a romantic lighting that puts me in a cheerful mood :). It stays nice and cold. It has three drawers to separate everything into sections. I just love it! I can't believe how much I can fit in it!!!

This is a replacement for a fridge that was already a good size we went up in size due to the sale on the samsung. I don't think I could go any smaller now.

Spent a lot of time reviewing all the brands/models on the market. Needed to get the biggest unit that would fit in a finite space. Every inch is maximized. Am able to fit a pizza box in the freezer. My old side-by-side could not do that. Love the water/ice set up. Design prevents ice from freezing up into a block. Very quiet.

I have only had this refrigerator for a month but I am extremely happy with it. Love the stainless! Use windex and a soft cloth for cleaning. Be generous on the windex otherwise it streaks. Had to get used to the big items on the door but it works very well. Bins for veggies and fruit are huge! Freezer has great space! Ice maker and water are fantastic. I really like this fridge.

Just got this about two weeks ago. I purchased it based on reviews and price for the size. It is a great fridge overall, but I have one complaint. The temperature settings are only in 2° increments. Not that big of a deal, but it was set at 36°F when I got it and it doesn't chill the sodas in the door very well (that's why they say not to put your milk in the door shelves I guess). I put it at 34°F but that seems to make things freeze up in the rest of the fridge. I guess I'll just have to use a glass of ice each time. Overall, I still like it a lot.
