Need to know that equipment works with my Samsung TV before I purchase and then have to return it. Samsung proprietary equipment, while wonderful, I'm sure, doesn't mean squat to me if it won't work with my Samsung gear. Great for forcing future upgrade purchases though.

The sun was all right but hooking it up getting the surroundsound extra speakers Which did not make any difference I sold the system and bought a smaller Bose surround sound system like I have in my living room

Please know that the HW-M550 has a dedicated Subwoofer level control on your remote.
The button is labeled “WOOFER”, and is located to the right of the Volume button. Push the button up or down to adjust the volume of the subwoofer to -12, or -6 to +6. Pressing the button will revert the subwoofer volume to level 0.

Sound quality was what i expected but the subwoofer was a huge disappointment. I expected alot more boom. I had to put my ear up against it to make sure it was on. All the settings were maxed out to high.
