    - originally purchased an open box of this product. Upon installing, the amp was producing minimal sound. We thought this was probably the reason for ‘open box’ return. - went back to B.B. and purchased a new unit. Upon installing, it also was malfunctioning but in a different way (causing our tv screen to flicker). Ended up returning the 2nd malfunctioning unit and bought a Sony product instead which cost only a bit more but produced MUCH better sound.

    I am not using it. I installed it as stated. The voice does not match to the words on the tv. They are 10 to 25 seconds behind the lips on the tv.

    Loved it 3 months, the Subwoofer stopped pairing

    A bit disappointed at the Samsung subwoofer which stopped pairing and the attempts at getting Samsung help to resolve the sub having a blinking blue light and not pairing which is tough as I greatly had enjoyed te unit when it worked perhaps Samsung or Best Buy will come through on the 4yr extended warranty I purchased on this and replace the subwoofer. Thank you in advance

      As the subwoofer is designed to pick up and amplify the low frequency sounds (from the right/left speakers), for example, the rumbles of an explosion, you won’t always hear it working.
      To test if the sub-woofer is working properly, we recommend you play a blu-ray or UHD DVD movie with plenty of explosions, and place your hand on the subwoofer. You should feel vibrations as the unit receives and transmits the incoming audio from the content.
      Another good test is to play music content with deep bass via Bluetooth connection, as it is not dependent on “effects” decoding.

      Please know that the unit has a dedicated Subwoofer level control on your remote.

      The button is labeled “WOOFER”, and is located to the right of the Volume button.
      Push the button up or down to adjust the volume of the subwoofer to -12, or -6 to +6.
      Pressing the button will revert the subwoofer volume to level 0.
