    Purchased open box item. Best Buy promised it worked and they checked it as being Certified to work. Guess what? Had to return it. Sounbar never powered on. They returned it for me and gave me a gift card after they confirmed it didn’t work. Huge waste of my time. My rating is for the product not working and the poor customer service.

    Easy setup with my Samsung Smart TV and Samsung Blu-ray player. I didn't need the manual until I was done with setup and checked to see if I missed anything. Sound quality is excellent. Much easier to understand speech without turning volume high. I would be at the sound setting of 75 to 100 before installing the soundbar and now at 20 to 30. Base speaker adds to the fullness of the movie but is not over powering. Works with my current TV remote so no need to use the included soundbar remote. Comes on automatically with the TV.

    This Sound Bar doesn't sound like it did in the Store!! At All!! Came back and talked to another salesman that couldn't explain it but did say he's had other Customers with the Same Issue!! 1st salesman didn't show me anything but was 5 Minutes early to work but wanted my Business!! Not To Happy With it!!

    The subwoofer doesn't work at all, and the words are delayed and when you see it once , you see it all the time. I called geek squad and they wanted me to bring it in, well closest one is 2 hours away and it's to small to send back supposedly , so waisted 500$ on something that I don't even use.

    Even though I purchased this as an open box item and saved money, it certainly was not worth it. The sound is terrible and adds nothing to my television viewing experience. it sounds like a cheap AM/FM portable radio that I used to listen as a kid in the 70's. It is terrible.

    I was looking for a decent quality and sounding surround sound system with minimum of wires to go with my Samsung Smart TV. I researched several and decided on this Model: New! Samsung - 3.1-Channel Soundbar System with 7" Wireless Subwoofer - Black HW-M550/ZASKU: 5754514 setup due to quality of sound, minimum of wires and easy setup, the fact it was a just released new item and it was Samsung. The setup was simple, some tinkering to figure it out but very intuitive. I experimented with placement of the wireless sub woofer and in the end have great quality sound and deep base. You actually have separate control of volume of the sound bar and the sub woofer to achieve optimum levels to your preference. I then added the New! Samsung - Wireless Rear Loudspeakers (Pair) Model: SWA-8500S/ZASKU: 5754510 and voilà I had a great surround sound system with sound coming from every direction with a very clean "almost" wireless setup. Note: there are about 12' speaker wires running from the wireless rear remote receiver to the 2 rear speakers.

    Very unhappy with soundbar and rear speakers. One of the rear speakers had a short in the wire connection. We could never get any sound from the sub. We did not get the sound quality that we heard in the store.... just returned the product.

    I hardly use this anymore. The sound from the tv is louder. If it’s turned all the way up, you can probably still hear a mouse pass gas. Don’t waste your money like I unfortunately did.
