We wanted a cooktop that had touch controls, not knobs. Other than that the cooktop works great. It heats pretty quickly. Cleaning is a bit difficult as the knobs get in the way and it's hard to clean between the knobs. Be careful not to touch a hot pot to the knobs as they are made of plastic and will melt. I do not like the fact that the knobs are so close to the burners.

What a difference , It has indicators next to the knobs that lets you know if there is a hot surface that can't be seen. The elements have a large & small concentric cooking surface area built into a few elements plus 2 inline elements to fit a griddle. It seems to have more accurate heat control plus it's more efficient.
