This range hood throws mad air, if yours doesn't it's installed wrong. Did it myself and I saw a few things that would cause someone who doesn't know to neglect making the necessary adjustments to accommodate this. Additionally if you read the booklet it shows the steps to activate boost so read it. My only complaint is Samsung should test these before shipping because the light was wired wrong and didn't work so I was easily able to figure it out. Saved me a service call. People say it's noisy but if you're gonna move that much air it comes with some noise but it isn't deafening like my previous one. The rear vent didn't line up with the existing hole through the back so it was easier for me to vent it from the top through the cabinet. It's very very pricey but we'll worth it, wish I had bought it the first time I saw it because I would've saved about $300. Yes $300.

Great addition to the samsung duo stove. It has three speeds plus a boost option for a more powerful exhaust. Its loud and you will know the fans running. It has metal washable exhaust filters. Bluetooth connectivity to stove via Samsung's smart-things app. Pricey but gets that smoke and smell out.

I love it. So modern, functional, efficient, elegant and looks wonderful with my beautiful new stove and refrigerator.

Nice looking, powerful vent and bright LED lights. Installer from Best Buy did a great job replacing my old Microwave with this range hood.

The hood does well with removing smells such as fried food and broiled meats. It vacuums up the smoke instead of fanning it into the room. The light from the hood is nice and bright. The contractors who installed the hood, they wore mask while in my house and were reals pros. I didn’t straighten out the towel in the photo. But it gives you an idea what it looks like in a typical home.

Pretty hood with good options. Bluetooth pairing has been very difficult. Samsung has not been helpful. Totaltech at BestBuy continues to try and help

This is a beautiful piece of the kitchen and really completes the look .. it lights up so pretty and has 3 powerful fan speeds ..not even sure that I’ve had to use past low yet . I love it !

THE UNIT IS QUIET; THE FAN IS VERY STRONG, PERFECT FOR NOT SETTING THE FIRE ALARMS OFF AND IT HAS 2 DIFFERNET LIGHT LEVELS

The range hood vent is very efficient as it can be set up to turn on automatically when you start cooking. Runs quieter than our old fan. The light gives great coverage for cooking

this range hood replaced 10 year old microwave range with small built-in hood, which is basically useless. We are very happy with the result and difference is day and night. not only Samsung hood ventilates odor or moves air super quickly, it does so relatively lower noise. Lightings are added bonus.

Love it bright lights for cooking and the exhaust fans really work great more powerful then other brands.

We purchased This Hood that was very expensive.. almost 4 times the price of other hoods in its category, because we were told by a Samsung representative at Best Buy .. it would automatically turn the lights and fan on when we turn on the gas on the range.. the range was brand new with Wi-Fi however double-check to see if the range is Bluetooth capable.. if not it will not pair with the hood.. other than that.. The hood is very quiet and very powerful best I ever seen. I was a new home warranty manager for years..so I saw a lot, The LED lights are bright.. you can just throw the grease collector vents in the dishwasher for cleaning.. And the black stainless still looks great.. you will pay extra but it's worth the powerful fan and the quietness when it's runing

Very nice looks good, but I think it’s too loud. Not sure if it’s how mine was installed, but I am not able to put it on high without it sounding like it’s going to break. I was expecting it to be much quieter due the price. I do like how easy it is to clean. The fan is powerful just loud.

This is a beautiful hood! I would suggest getting it installed by a professional. The gap between the junction box and the wall is a tad bit tight! It is quieter than our old one.

Perfect size range hood with a lot of power and light. Purchased to replace old hood and this is a huge improvement. Would definitely buy again.

I am so glad I chose the Samsung range hood. Not only is it sleek, it gets the job done! It also has perfectly bright over stove lighting. Oh, and you don’t have to purchase replacement filters. You just wash with sudsy water and you’re back in action!
