I wouldn't have bought this Induction Oven if the price hadn't been so great. I paid less than half the retail price so it was hard to resist. It's convection and induction with steam clean ability. I find that the induction cooktop isn't all it's cracked up to be. Only my cast iron cookware worked on this stovetop. I had all stainless steel, but a magnet wouldn't stick to it so I had to buy all new. The plug-in induction products on late-night TV seem better. Those from TV give you the temperature in degrees and this expensive stove doesn't. It only goes 1-10 like all glass top stoves. My recomendation is to buy a regular oven and get one plug-in induction cooking burner from TV if you must have induction.

We've had the stove a week now and really like it. The induction cooktop heats very fast and cools just as quickly. The pushbutton controls are easy to reach and the readouts are easy to see. The burner arrangement is a bit awkward as both large burners are on the front of the stove and the small ones to the back. Would like to see a small burner in front. Had to purchase new pots and pans as aluminum does not work with the induction cooktop...only stainless steel and cast iron.

Purchased in 2015, Started with error E84 all of a sudden, no warning. Nothing works. Samsung doesn't make this part available any more. Even suggested getting a parted out one from ebay! This is garbage. An expensive range like this should last more than 5 years!

We have had this range in our home for about 2 months now and we love it. We had a regular electric range before this one. Comparing the 2 This range is much better as far as speed in cooking and equal heat intensity throughout the cooktop. I have cooked just about everything from boiling noodles to sautéing mushrooms to french toast and scrambled eggs. It is very easy to control the temperature of the cooktop. As far as the oven. It is comparable to any of the other big name ovens out there. Both the convection and the regular bake work great. First convection oven so I am still figuring out about cook times with that. Overall a great choice!

This is my first induction range and I got a great deal via Best Buy, as it was an out of box purchase and we were looking for an induction range. I didn't know much about them, but have learned rather quickly about purchase of pans and items to use on the stove. I have found that the best cook ware is the expensive stuff, but seems to pay off in the end. I can cook items rather quickly and the kitchen doesn't get warm, which is a big plus in Arizona. I would recommend and induction stove as it save energy, but warming only the pan, not a bunch of coils and the room... When you turn it off, it's off, not still cooking like the non-induction ranges. I don't know if I could switch back...

Had the range 1 month. I have only used the oven one time, but worked well. Stovetop is great. Heats very quickly. Also I love the warming burner. Put some homemade mac & cheese on it and left it for an hour. It was warm and not burnt! Only drawback is cleaning a cooktop. This is my first and didn't realize the maintenance to keep it looking good.

Despite having great features & affordable price, we were initially hesitant in buying a Samsung induction range based on many negative reviews due to its poor reliability. We've decided to give it try hoping that these E-85 code problems were due to the initial product launch glitches, and the Samsung must have addressed them after a couple of year in production. Long story short, we loved the new range & the convection oven, and they worked flawlessly for 10 months. Then we heard this loud pop noise, blew 60 Amp dedicated circuit breaker, and got this E-85 error code. We've tried to get it repaired under the warranty, but the Samsung tech service was impossible to deal with - on the phone for 3 hours, waiting for service tech, service tech was clueless on induction system, another 3 hours on the phone w/ Samsung, no tech assistance from Samsung... no offer to exchange.. .another 3 hours on the phone... Wow.... and it's been 6 weeks with no working range/oven!! Yes, I was an idiot for taking the chance...never never again buy a Samsung appliance. We're buying a GE profile unit w/ an extended warranty and hoping for a better experience

We purchased our Samsung Induction Range (Model NE595N0PBSR) in February 2013, seven months ago. I waited to write a review until I had used most of the features and also because I’ve read several negative reviews of those who have had problems with the range in the first month. I cook and bake a LOT for my family and frequent guests. My stove is the most essential tool in my kitchen. Why Induction? I have used a glass-top range for 10+ years and found it hard to cook on—it took a long time to heat and a long time to cool down (more so than my previous coil burners), making it nearly impossible to cook precisely. I had MANY boilovers! I heard induction was supposed to cook much like gas. We found this range at a good sale price at Best Buy and it seemed to offer the features I wanted (induction burners, convection oven) for a great price. I have to say at the top that I LOVE MY STOVE. My husband has heard this nearly every day since I got it. It is everything I hoped it would be and my love for cooking and baking has raised considerably! It is true that one has to have “Induction friendly” pans. Most of mine already worked but I did have to add a few and find that more induction pans are available now so they weren’t hard to find nor were they costly. Like: • Induction heat is as fast as gas--when the heat is lowered or turned off, it’s immediate. No more boilovers! Cooking with such precise and predictable heat is a pleasure. It truly is like cooking with gas but without the odor or residue on the pans. • I liked my previous convection oven, but the Samsung is “true convection” is noticeably better. The oven temp seems true, the convection dispels “hot spots” and does a fantastic job on cookies, breads (I bake 5 loaves at a time on one shelf), and pizza. • Reliable surface elements mean I can bring a soup to boil, touch “simmer” and instantly the soup simmers. The temperatures seem very precise (I use the 3.5 for fried eggs every time.) • The timer defaults to minutes but can also be quickly set for seconds. • The timer and oven “beeps” are clear and loud enough to be heard clearly from other parts of the house. • While the oven takes a little longer to preheat (because the heating element is under the oven bottom? which makes it a dream to wipe clean), the oven preheat feature shows the oven temperature as it raises—this is helpful to gauge how many minutes I have before I put something in to bake. • The oven has a “Proof” button for raising bread. This is a fantastic feature and has cut my bread raising time by almost half. Yes, one could warm an oven and then raise bread in it, but this is a “no brainer”—just touch the button and it’s the perfect temperature for raising bread. • The burners have a “boost” feature which can quickly bring water to a boil. • The stovetop is way less likely to cook boiled over food to its surface: 1) This has almost eliminated boilovers because it so quickly responds to turning down the temperature; but, if I’m not paying attention and it does… 2) The heating elements or glass top does not actually heat up—only the heat that transfers from the pot to the glass will heat it and thus it cannot bake the food into the top like a glasstop stove will do. • The “Boil Alert” feature is a fantastic help. When making pasta, I can set the burner to “Boil Alert” so that as soon as the water comes to boil, it automatically turns itself down to the temp I selected so the water doesn’t keep on boiling. This allows me to be doing other things (even in another room) and have it ready to boil again when I return to it. Then I can add the pasta and turn it back up to a rolling boil temp. Very clever! • This stove is such a treat to cook on! Don’t like: • The black stove surface is unforgivable—it shows everything, even dust. I did read a good tip to give it a quick wipe with a microfiber cloth and that helps. All in all, it is worth the little bit of fuss to keep it shiny clean to have this stove with all its features.

Bought the appliance last year September. Shortly before thanksgiving two of the cooking fields did not detect the cookware anymore. The store was kind to offer an exchange and they delivered before the holidays a replacement of the same model. In January the same thing happened on the exchange unit and it took them almost 3 weeks to deliver the exchange parts to our home. Technician came in and replaced 3 major boards. Unit worked for 2 weeks. technician came in again and got us an agreement for another exchange. We will get now the 3rd unit delivered. Pretty sure that this will break again. Why should it be better? Funny that Samsung and Best Buy keep shipping it. This customer cost them probably a few thousand dollars already. If this one breaks i give up and buy at a different store from a different vendor a non induction stove. Technology might be just not ready yet or Samsung just does not know how to produce a working one. But this has been the worst product experience with an appliance i ever had!

I got the range about 6 weeks ago. I absolutely loved it....for about a month....until it died. In the two weeks since it died, i've talked to about 15 different people at Samsung, their service company, and Best Buy. Took them a week to get a service guy out. He replaced the control panel which didn't fix the problem. He couldn't figure out what was wrong with it and had to call Samsung for them to diagnose it. Then he said they had to order a part and it would be 2-3 business days. When they hadn't called me in 3 business days, I called back. They told me that I had to get a new unit and that I had to call Samsung for that. So, I called Samsung. After working my way through their phone maze and punching in everything from the model number to my phone number I finally got a human being.....who then proceeded to ask me all the same questions. After typing something into his computer for about 10 minuets, he told me that he would need to transfer me. The next person then asked me for all the information over again. Then she spent about 10 minutes typing something into her computer and told me that a new unit was authorized but the replacement had to be handled through Best Buy. She told me i had to 2ait 3-5 days for them to call me. Unfortunately, I'm hosting a Christmas Party at my house in 2 days, so that's not gonna work. So, the next day I get on the phone with Best Buy and they tell me that the replacement order hasn't come through yet and I need to talk to Samsung. So, I call Samsung and go through the same thing again trying to get some information. Finally I get to a woman who tells me that they've only had one day to work on this and that I have to be patient. "It's a process and it takes some time". I informed her that I had been trying to get the unit fixed or replaced for two days, and she repeated that they had only had the issue for one day. So, that's where I am right now. Anybody for some cold sandwiches?

I purchased this machine 2 years ago. Purchased the 2 year extended warranty with Best Buy and within 3 weeks of my extended warranty stopping i heard a loud pop and an error of E84 occured. I have been without my stove for over 3 weeks and have had a service tech out multiple times. Samsung will not stand behind they machine. I have replaced both back motherboards and now am waiting for another replacement part caleld the right hand invertor board. SAMSUNG HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, BUT ON THE ON HOLD MESSAGE SAYS THEY OFFER EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. They have a defective part and should stand behind it. Buyer beware!

    Don't Buy Ever

First, I'm upset that it's on sale now for $1229. I paid $1399 for it. I really hate it when stores do this. It's probably on sale because nobody is buying it due to all the problems they've been hearing. We bought it, it worked great for the first three months and then the front right burner wold no longer sense the pan. According to the tech who came out to fix it, he says its the most common error he has. The part had to be ordered and was going to take 14 days to get here. According to Samsung if they can't fix it in 14 days then they authorize a replacement from the place you bought it from. In our case that was Best Buy. Samsung sent a return authorization to Best Buy in effect giving me full credit for the oven, so I could either buy the same one again or something else. This is actually pretty great of them as they just don't replace it with the same model in case you change your mind. Fast forward to today. Oven has been working great, so I thought my new unit didn't have any issues. Today there was a loud pop after I just finished cooking breakfast and now the whole oven won't power on. It just shows an error code (E-84). I'm assuming the control board went out. Called Samsung again and they are going to send out a tech to look at it. I told them I don't want it repaired and just want a replacement. DON'T BUY THIS EVER AND DON"T BUY ANY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES. I had problems with all 6 of my Samsung appliances (Over, Fridge, Microwave, Dishwasher, Washer, and Dryer).

    Love the induction cooktop

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have had this stove for about two months now and can't find anything wrong with it. The oven steam cleaning option is really nice and the induction cooktop rocks. This is my first induction cooktop and would highly recommend induction cooking. Yes you can boil water in an amazingly short time, but really so what. The greatest thing about the induction cooktop is the absolute temperature control you have - even way more important at the low temperature ranges. Also the lack of thermal inertia when reducing cooking temperature is outstanding. Two pieces of advice. Of course make sure your cookware is ferro-magnetic. And be ready to cook when you apply power to the induction hobs. I used to have a gas cooktop and would have a few minutes to continue to chop vegetables, season meat, etc. while the gas burner was getting the pan hot. Not with induction hobs. The pans heat up and are ready for cooking very quickly. Of course the only improvement would for the induction cooktop to be a freedom induction cooktop, but then I probably couldn't have afforded it. The convection oven took a little bit to get used to. But, now that I understand the cooking difference really enjoy the shortened cooking times. All-in-all very pleased.

Just go this range today and am very happy with it! Free delivery was included and Best Buy really does have a very good delivery staff! Set up was easy, hardest part was adjusting the range height and leveling. Induction boils water in 90 seconds! Have to have metallic cookware to make it work though. Range is very nicely made and solidly built. Its a great deal on an induction range and I am very happy with the purchase.
