Needed help setting it up.

However I needed help from the Geek Squad (a very helpful employee at that) to set it up. The colors were off, the sound was too low. Once these obstacles were overcome, it worked well for me. I am fairly good at reading and following directions but this TV needed more than my abilities. I think it should have been plug and play, not a TV that required support from the Geek Squad.

Great TV for my Daughters Dorm room

Went to best buy to look at selection and received very good advice from one of the Best Buys associates. He was going to UW and gave us great advice on the size, model, and type of flat screen that would work best in a dorm room. Huge help.

Excellent Desktop TV - MBP Monitor?

Crisp clear image and colors. I was surprised and pleased with the audio. Much better than I expected but plan to use external speakers. As a MacBook Pro monitor it is not as crisp and clear with the text but the video is excellent. I think the issue about monitor use is more likely that I've not set / tweaked the TV settings.
