I really like the washer. It cleans well and is easy to use. I was using a top loader previously so this made me wonder about the balancing as it shakes when it comes up to speed during the spin cycle. This hasn't caused any issues and once it reaches full speed the shaking stops. We have it in the basement and do not even hear it when it runs. My previous washer wasn't even cleaning clothes, and now they come out brighter than ever. Went from doing roughly 3-4 loads down to 2 with the increased capacity. I did not realize that it had a smart feature to control it from your phone when I bought it but like the idea. Unfortunately the app, and the manual have difference instructions on how to use this feature and so far I have not been able to get it working. Not overly important so I would highly recommend this product.

I have been eyeing on Samsung front loading washer for a while. I was contemplating LG versus Samsung, but when this baby came up on Labor day sale, I could not resist! The 4.2 cubic feet is more than enough to load up anything including king size comforters. The wash cycle is fast as well as efficient (no puns intended). I did best buy delivery and set up and they were able to set this up for me. They did not hook up the drier unit to the vent though. You will need to buy hook up products which cost me around $60 I think. Overall, excellent product and I am happy with my purchase.

I've gone through several washer but so far this is my favorite. It clean very well and it's a lot quieter than my previous Kenmore. It's so easy to use. It can handle my bedding items very well. Samsung uses motor in this machine unlike any other machines that use belt so when u try to wash your comforter, it won't be able to spin but this samsung do it with ease.

This Samsung washing machine is amazing. No comparison to our old top loader. Very quiet machine. It has steam, but in one month I have only used the steam once, just to try it. If purchased again, I would save the money and not get the steam option. Clothes come out great. Purchased the 3 year added service agreement for $79, other store was $119. Free delivery, free install and take away of old washer, 18 month no interest financing, all big pluses . Also got a $50 rebate from Com Ed! Bought it on Dec 29that 8:30 pm and it was delivered at 7:30 am on the 31st. First load was a queen sized down comforter. Came out clean. Samsung 5400 and Best Buy, purchase could not have made me happier.

I did a lot of research and heard a lot of negatives about front loaders. I am glad that I went with the Samsung models. They do a great job of washing and drying and have tons of features. Plan on spending a lot of time learning how to use all of these features! You have to remember to wipe down the washer seal AND the detergent drawer after each wash and leave the door cracked open between uses to avoid mildew. Easy to laod and unload, very quiet, I would definitely recommend these to my friends.

5400 series in Merlot color was on sale for $800 each; we bought them and love how well they wash and how quiet they are. Features are very good. Steam feature appears to help, but not as good as I had hoped for. Took delivery service 3 times to get them installed, kept having issues with too small of spill pan for washer.

So pleased with the performance of this washer. It runs quietly and is very easy to operate. Clothes are so clean!!

Overall I am satisfied with the washer and the service it has provided. After one year of use, 4 persons, washing daily, the washer has preformed well. To date, it has not developed the mold and mildew buildup that our LG washer was prone to. However, we make certain to keep it propped open when not in use so it can dry out. The only reason I am giving this unit 3 stars and not 4 is the front panel did not hold up as expected. My issue is that the paint used to print the text on the front panel is not durable and will wash off if you use a standard bathroom/kitchen cleaner or glass cleaner on it. Good luck figuring out what mode to use then. You would think that Samsung would have picket a more durable paint considering how close these important markings are to where you pour soap and other chemicals into the unit. Right now, I would buy this unit again.

Replaced a 15 Year old Whirlpool. Lot of great features and VERY Quiet. Out of the box usage. Many custom cycles. Great Machine overall

This has proven to be a great replacement to our old top loader. We were both pretty critical of making the transition to a front loading washer and did a great deal of homework. This seemed like a highly rated washing machine for a decent price. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the top-end machines but it gets the job done in an efficient manner. It is quite and thankfully does not like to roam our laundry room floor. We've had it for about a month now with no complaints.

Very happy with this washer. Upgraded from top load with agitator. It is quiet. Sounds don't bother me. You can turn them off. Clothes get clean. I like that I can put something in after starting the cycle. You can customize to your own cycle or use washer's settings. I was very hesitant buying this washer or other high efficiency because of all bad reviews, but there was no reason.

I love the color! It has a lot of features and came at a good price compared to many of the steam washers.

Have been a Whirlpool owner most of my life and was reluctant to buy Samsung. Our Whirlpool rotor or bucket got bent and sounded like a 747 on takeoff after 10 years and the clothes did not get clean. The Samsung cleans so much better and the clothes smell great. It has a lot of different cleaning options and is really easy to use.

We purchased this washer about a month ago and we are very pleased with it. It cleans well and has great capacity. We like the steam feature and the quick wash cycle is a handy option. The only thing I would change is the access to the bleach dispenser. We just used a smaller container for our bleach and it works fine.

This hi-tech washing machine does so much it's almost crazy. But to keep it simple it's extremely quiet and does a fantastic job. Extra gentle with most of my clothes and easy options to deep clean. This was a great buy.

We are very pleased with the set. It may seem daunting at first with all the options each unit give you, but after a few cycles it's very easy and intuitive to use. The efficiency of the washer and dryer are features that we took into consideration and are pleased. In addition, they handle any of our washable items (e.g. very large comforters). It was a good purchase

I purchased this washer mainly based on price but also based on reviews. I have a friend that has an older version of the washer and she is very unhappy with it. I have had no issues. Only thing that concerns me is that it's sometimes hard to close the door but I bought the warranty so I'm not too worried about it. I would buy it again as of now.

Awesome purchase I must say. After one month of use I do not have any problems to report. The machine is very quiet even during the fast spin. It uses very little water and cleans the clothes as expected. I love the many features it comes with especially when it comes to adding additional clothes at moments notice and the door is not locked at the beginning of the wash cycle. I bought the dryer version as well and notice the dryer has a light when you open the door but the washer doesn't. It doesn't make it less usable I just like the convenience to see if I left something inside the washer just like I use it for the washer. Other than that I recommend this washer. One more thing to mention - the steam cycle is great!

As i have mentioned with my review of the dryer that matches this washer.... we are extremely happy with the many features it has to offer and also the color. It's aesthetically pleasing and enhances our garage. We have had this washer for two months and use it once to twice a week without any problems.

This washer is a great compromise between the entry level front loading washers and the "loaded" models they carry in store. It is quiet, efficient, and gets the stains out. Very happy with our purchase.
