I purchased this machine and the matching dryer to replace my 17 year old GE set. If you're looking for a basic washer at a good price point, I would recommend this one. It doesn't have some of the features the higher priced models have but it has a large tub, cleans and rinses well so far I haven't had to use the extra rinse cycle. My only complaint is when the machine starts the spin cycle there's a vibration noise it's not a very quiet machine. The machine will also shake if it's on the high spin cycle with a small load. For smaller loads I use the medium spin cycle.

We have had the same small front-loader for over a decade, but it finally gave up the ghost. Our family is growing, so we decided to upgrade our washer but space in our laundry room is a big concern. Fortunately, our saleswoman was able to point us to this model. Practically the same dimensions as our old washer, it can fit in half-again as much, runs quieter, is more energy efficient, and didn't break our checkbook. All in all, it ticked every single box we needed, with a few extra bells and whistles to boot!

This new washer cleans so much better than our prior one. I like the way the water comes through the dispenser rather than pouring the powder right onto the laundry. No more globs left behind when drying clothes. Very quiet too and spin dries the clothes well so they don't have to be in the dryer as long.

This washer is great. It was very reasonably priced for the quality. It fits a ton of clothes, and it does a great job cleaning. It's pretty quiet, and I love how you can see the wash spinning through the lid!

This washer is efficient , it even saves money on taxes it's so good. I can wash small delicates or large loads of heavy duty stuff with ease. It's a quiet worker and always lets me know how much time til it's finished. I love it.

I had an old school machine when it broke I decided to splurge and get something that would be "fancy" and last longer. This was the best purchase. The machine is quiet and easy to use and comes with an amazing warranty from Samsung. The glass top closes slowly so no slamming issues. It locks so you have to pause it to add more clothes. Definitely worth the price and have no regrets on not getting a more expensive machine. Definitely better then a front loader.

After working in an appliance department, I became very familiar with appliances and their features. This washer is quite nice, and for the price, its performance, appearance, and ease of use--not to mention its impressive capacity--have all impressed me & my wife. We've had it for a couple months now, and we are very happy with our purchase.

Purchased this Samsung machine after our Whirlpool Cabrio died after 4 years of use (NEVER AGAIN will I buy Whirlpool - they could've cared less that it only last 4 years when I contacted their customer service despite tons of online reviews of that washer having the same bearings issue...so a complete design flaw...but enough about who not to buy). Only have had this Samsung a few months, so time will tell if it lasts but has cleaned well initially & I like the machine. Only thing I don't like so far is that on the delicates cycle I can't put any soil level higher than 'light' (which I like to wash some clothes on that cycle & would prefer more setting options). I also found that the spin cycle can be set to medium & removes a ton of the water from the clothes...so I haven't used the high setting (thought it might be more gentle on clothes).

Nice machine. Quiet and does a nice job. Only issue we had was not measuring the space in advance. It did not fit straight in but does fit sideways. Hey it works! No complaints yet. It even spins clothes better than the old one. Less dry time is great!

I love my new washing machine! It is quiet, uses way less water than the old one, gets my clothes really clean, uses detergent efficiently and effectively, and even plays me a sweet little tune to tell me when the wash is done. Plus, it was very reasonably priced.

Easy to operate, quiet, and efficient. The only thing I have any issue with is the liquid/powder detergent hatch that has to be taken out. Other than that, it's good quality for a very reasonable price.

I like the washing machine. The load capacity is huge and it runs very quietly. I didn't know much about high efficiency washers and my only complaint is when I wash a load with a blanket in it I always have to balance the load by hand. I think that is due to the no agitator which is part of high efficiency.

This washer does an excellent job. We switched to this washer after returning a Whirlpool Cabrio washer that vibrated excessively. This Samsung washer is quiet and very efficient. It seems to use less water than our old one. From what I can tell, it is very well built. It even plays a little song when the wash is complete.

What is most important with regards to a washing machine is that whomever is doing the laundry, that it is easy to use, is quiet, during the spin cycle it does not vibrate too much, and most importantly you clothes are looking great afterwards. This washing machine has gotten 10 out of 10 on all of these requirements.

Like the new washer, but it takes a little time to get accustomed to since it is so different than the older style machines...uses less water, more computerized, longer times for each wash, but seems to be very efficient. Read instructions before using to help you get a feel for the settings.

This washer has a huge capacity and is so much quieter than our old one. It also uses less water and spins the clothes so well they're only damp, which cuts down on dryer time. It also fits a lot of heavy towels and has no problem spinning.

Since buying my Samsung washing machine over 6 months ago, I cant stop doing laundry. Quiet, lots of capacity space (even for a queen sized comforter) and very little water usage.

Was looking for a moderately priced washer and dryer but with nice features and reliability. So far this washer has been excellent. Easy to use. Clothes come out nice and clean. Plus the spin cycle is so effective that drying time is greatly reduced in the dryer.

We had our last washer for 11+ years so this is our first foray into the world of high efficiency washing machines and the differences are quite impressive. I now have a high functioning machine at a great value that uses less water, less electricity, holds more clothes, has no agitator to abuse my clothes, and even thinks on its own to determine the proper water and cycle for what I am washing in it. Plus, with less water and more efficiency, the machine takes less time overall.

Love this washer. Holds a lot, runs quite, gets clothes really clean. Only draw back is the washing cycles are really long. The matching dryer cycles are pretty long to so it kinda works out. Also you can fit so much in it that my washing time is still cut in half.
