This is our first HE washer so I don't have anything to compare it to. Yet I compare it to all the prior washers I've had. I miss having more water in the machine. For the first month and a half I obsessed with this. I would stand over the washer - with a flashlight making sure the clothes rotated and swished around enough. I'm still not entirely convinced they do. If I have a load of very dirty clothes (from sports or yard-work), they get washed twice. The agitation isn't enough to get it clean the first time. The delicate is almost too delicate. For example, I have some nicer tanks and T's that I prefer to wash on delicate so that they don't get mis-shaped. But when I go to hang them to dry, deoderant marks are sometimes still there. Ewww! Now perhaps that's my fault and I should have just washed them on a regular cycle (I've never had the deoderant issue on a normal cycle). Honestly, my dislike of this machine may be partly due to my inability to embrace the HE way. I don't like the minimal amount of water and I don't like it taking an hour to wash a load of clothes. On the more positive side, the dryer time is noticeably less, the detergent dispenser is fully removable so you can clean it, the perm press cycle makes a difference and the wash basin is quite large. So though it takes a ridiculous amount of time to wash a load - you can at least fit a lot in! Though don't over-fill or it won't clean right! We got a good price on this $549.99 - so that is a positive too! ApplianceSmart had it for $200 more.

I reviewed this online as well as talked to my my daughter who owns one also. It's easy to use and due to the size I can get more laundry done and have less loads!!!

This Samsung washer does a great job of cleaning. The spin cycle does fantastic job of water removal cutting drying time considerably.

Read a lot of reviews & searched many ads online as well as in store, decided to purchase this Samsung. Purchased at a great price during Presidents' Day Sale @ Best Buy. Researched online but went into store to actually see it and purchased in store. I love this machine , I've washed over a dozen loads and each has been great. I read a review that said some clothing did not get wet but I have not had this problem. Also like the tune it plays when load is complete. Would definitely purchase Samsung again.

I have had a great experience with my washer purchase. It was an easy pressure free buy at the store and it was at a great price. The washer itself has been quiet, and washes quick. The settings are easy to understand. It even has a cute song to tell you it's done!!!

I was skeptical about a top loader but I'm so glad this is what we went with! My husband works in a factory where his clothes get gross and this cleans them so well! And they're not soaking wet when I transfer them to the dryer so that's really nice! They don't take as long to dry which saves us money. Also has a huge drum, our down queen size comforter fits in it which makes washing it much easier than before

After seeing some of the negative reviews I read up on HE. It is NOT the same system we had in our 15yo washer. With HE detergent and some common sense, we are very happy with our purchase. The clothes come out clean and the without detergent residue some complain about. I hope it's 15 years before I write another washer review. Good price. Good product. Good luck.

We checked out a lot of washers and dryers before we chose the Samsung. So far we're real pleased with how quiet it is, how nice it looks and most of all the job it does cleaning each load. It REALLY has a big tub that makes laundry day so much simpler.

Love my new washer! It washes my clothes good and is very quiet. I keep walking in my laundry room to check if it's still washing haha.. I love the built in sink. I didn't think I would ever use it but I have a toddler and it comes in handy alot!

Easy to use. Works great. Looks fantastic. My daughter has one, so when it came time to replace ours, I went to Best Buy, where we have purchased all our TVs, appliances, cameras and phones.

First off. The washer plays a cute music tune when a load finishes. Second. Its super quiet. It's the quietest washer I have ever heard. It cleans clothes very well and no annoying agitator to place clothes around and get shoes strings caught in. Third. Idk how my power bill will change but I can load so much more clothes than my original washer that I don't have to wash as often My model has the sprayer on top but I believe you need to have a very light load in the washer for the sprayer to operate. My loads are usually large

Love this washer. It was more expensive then I had planned, but worth every penny. Quiet (which was the most important feature I was looking for based on my previous one). Lots of cycle options. There are some reviews about leaking - that is if it is not installed correctly. The hose that comes with it does not fit a standard connection in the house so you need another hose to convert it to the right size. If you don't, it will work . . . but one day come off and flood/leak

I was fearful with having to buy a new washing machine. My older one finally kicked the bucket and was forced into buying a new one. It has been years since I had to buy one. I could not decide if I wanted front loading, top loading, what things I needed etc with all the new technology. Finally took myself into the store, met up with a very nice sales associate and discussed what I was looking for and he steered me to this machine. I have been using it for over a month and have been very happy with it. The washtub is huge! I can do 1 load in what my last one could do in 2 loads. It weighs the clothing and determines the amount of water it needs! Who knew a washer could do that! Also, this washer has not tangled my clothes at all, which was a complaint that my Aunt warned me about with the new washers.

It took me a few loads to get used to it ( I was using an old agitator machine) but once I did I love it. It only uses enough water per load and gently cleans clothes. It works great for very small loads or large ones. It is very quiet.

It is a washing machine has a lot of room for the clothes is really quiet when this washing does not hear sound like other brands I have before. I love my new washing machine.

Previously had front loaders which I refused to purchase again. Instead wanted a top loader that didn't have center agitator. These are high quality and very reasonable priced!! Love the lights and musical sounds it makes when done

Great washer and energy efficient. Plus it has a 10 year warranty on the main components. Of course it's only couple weeks old and what worries me is the electronic control panel which is only warranted for 1 year, possibly 2 on this model. Other than that this washer is great, quiet,efficient, has steam option for cleaning and sanitizing and has a cool valve in the front that drops in stuff you may forget in the pockets of your clothes. Overall it's great. I wouldn't pay the full asking price but with a sale this washer is worth it.

I have used this machine about ten times so far, and it seems to do a good job. Today I actually stood for the whole 55 minutes watching how it works. It uses very little water so I wanted to be sure that the clothes all got washed. It is kind of interesting to see the various types of movement the tub performs to clean the clothes. I've been washing huge loads which is a problem with my old style dryer. I think in the future, I will dry half at a time.

Love my new washer, it's extremely quiet and it's s beautiful, when the cycle finishes it lets us know by playing music, which it's very helpful, the only two things I was disappointed were the cycles are very long over an hour each and the 2nd that it uses extremely very little water, but if you use the BEDDING cycle, the machine uses more water, that's the cycle I'm using.

This washer is big and has no agitator so it holds a lot of clothes. It is quiet. It has done a good job cleaning our clothes. I like that it has a fair (but not ridiculous) number of settings. It is nice looking (if you care about that sort of thing). It does seem to take a bit longer to do a load than my old washer, but it holds more and uses less water so that might explain it. I also like the musical chime it plays when finished (you can turn it off). It was less expensive than other models of equal size and similar features.
