Excellent image quality. Smart tv menus are easy to navigate as well as the settings menus. I use it to watch Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, hbo, play PS4, connect my laptop etc and it’s been great. The biggest con is that the power cable is extremely weak. It unplugs from the TV at the slightest movement, which is kind of annoying. You also need a great antena to get good air channels. Other than that it’s a great tv.

Needed to replace a ten year old rear projection set that finally died. This new TV was incredibly light, easy to set up, we were up and running and it's a great picture with easy remote and features!

Was looking for a quick replacement TV and came across this one on sale. Have always loved the Samsung brand and after playing around with an LG, Vizio, and Sony around the same price decided to get this. Great Picture Remote, while different at first, is awesome. Only down draw to it is the menu requires use of A B C D E buttons but they are not present on control. You have to dig in to find them. Connections are straight forward and easily located Sound is decent for built-ins 4K resolution is awesome HDR is smooth Different special view modes (Game, Movie, Sports) are setup nicely and work as intended. Love that the TV resets back to neutral when turned off.

This is a great TV for the price. Good looking TV with good picture quality. Would recommend getting a Roku as smart TV apps aren't always the fastest. The best thing about this TV is it comes with a smart remote. These remotes are so much better than standard remotes.

I was restricted to a size of TV to put into an enclosed entertainment stand and this one was perfect. I couldn't have got a more perfect fit unless I would've built the stand around TV. The TV has a very good picture to be sure but that remote really does suck. Give me the old fashion kind of remote where if, for example, you want to change the input source you press one button and not have to press multiple buttons several times to get to where you want to go. It would have been a better TV without all the menus to navigate. I miss not having the keypad numbers 1 to 0 when I want to set the exact channel rather than scrolling through channel after channel to get to the one I want to watch. Also, my needs required more than one audio output but for another $50 of extra purchases I was able to work it out. The price of the TV is hard to beat though.

Paid $289 was going to buy the Samsung 6300 but this one came along on sale. Many of the reviews where positive. And I agree. I use antenna and WiFi. My main concern was picture quality and antenna station tuning. Picture is superb ! Changing channels was my number one concern. It's fast and has a wonderful TV guide of all channels. And a feature I like is when you change a channel it first shows the call sign then whats on briefly. Has ability to show current show with details and also some extra information. The turn on of TV is instant! no more long waits . Channel surfing is fast. App access is fast and easy. Nice channel list favorites and recently used! Remote worried me at first because of no direct access to channels. But not needed. On screen is fast and smart. Love it Love it Love it.!

Great price for 4k on black friday. Using it as a monitor with a GTX 1060 driving it at 4k/60Hz. 21:9 might be a better aspect ratio for a computer monitor this large but I can make it work. 4k monitors at the time were running about $1000 for 28 or 32inch.

This TV is truly great, starting with all the apps! You can use Youtube, Amazon Video, and more right from your TV. Also, 4K technology makes the screen so clear it's like you're there if you're watching a nature show. The sound is also great!

This is a great TV that fits perfectly in the bedroom. The images are incredible and sound quality is great even without any additional speakers. The interface is easy to use with your cable connection or through the connected smart apps.

Coming from a 22 inch 720p VIZIO TV, this just blew my mind when I started watching 4k Netflix content. If you love watching movies, definitely upgrade your Netflix subscription. You wont be sorry! Aside from the picture quality, the smart features are really well implemented. Living in a college dorm makes it hard for me to connect certain devices to wifi with a needed username and password. However, since this TV has an ethernet port, I just bridge the connection from my desktop! Definitely get this TV if you see it on sale!

I waited for some time before reviewing this Samsung 6290. After much research I opted for this TV based on specs, reviews and lastly price (was on sale). Sidenote: TV price lowered after I purchased it and without question and quickly, Best Buy refunded me the difference. I have been using it everyday and everyday I am still impressed with how awesome the picture is. Amazing colors, great blacks...sometimes TVs look better in the store than at home but without a doubt this does not disappoint! I could not be happier with it!

Not to small and not to large tv is in a common area of the house and does exactly and more than I hoped for picture is crisp the smart tv is amazing all around great purchase. Will be buying another for the office

I purchased the TV on a really good sale on the Black Friday sales. Was going for a lesser model (not a smart tv and just normal HD 1080), but for 40.00 more I did get a smart tv and UHD. Smart apps work great over wifi, TV is just hooked up to normal rabbit ears and reception is fine, overall picture is good...maybe a little too much color which can make it look unnatural. Still need to play around with the settings. TV is in a guest so I don't view it very often (use the the guest room as a sick room during the winter..lol). It will end up in a tail gate vehicle next fall with a Dish portable receiver. That is why I was looking for a good picture for very little $. Mission accomplished.

Bought this one when it was on sale and do not want to wait for Black Friday deal. It is a fantastic entry level 4K TV. Salesman suggested I should apply for Best Buy credit card. 2 Weeeks later I got the bill and went to store to pay for it but I noticed it was on sale again at $30 less. Before Paying my bill I informed the salesman about it and he deducted $30 from My bill. For the price and service I am happy with it and would recommend to any body for this TV. It is after all a Samsung . Thanks

crystal clear picture, above average UX. integration with iPad could be improved. Smart functions and remote are top notch although the remote could benefit from some alphanumeric capabilities.

The TV I had previous to purchasing this one was also a Samsung. I wanted to upgrade to the 4K UHD. The picture quality and vibrance of colors is top quality and the best that you will find out there.

great color and conversion... very limited and difficult remote to use with very poor battery cover design. using cable remote so not such a problem. smart functions are ok but do not compare to my comcast X1 operating system. I know this review sounds a little bit negative, however this tv is amazingly affordable, has a great picture, and would be perfect for people who still use cable as their primary viewing source. Still need reliable internet and other pay services to use smart functions so the pricing is almost a wash.

Excellent quality. Very happy with purchase. Only cons are basic remote and no Bluetooth. Otherwise, great product.
