I've had mine for almost a year but in the last 3 months there has been lines popping up across the screen. There are 4 so far. It's not distorting the screen to bad but in certain coloring and lighting on screen, you can definitely see it.

The TU8000 is a decent TV but falls short on brightness and contrast. When set to normal brightness for movies, the contrast suffers. When contrast is set correctly, brightness is to low for dark scenes.
Very poor off center contrast and fading of picture.

Has great picture. Has great features when the WiFi works. When it loses connection I have to do a factory reset every time, wasting about fifteen minutes. The reset network setting does nothing at all. Very frustrating. Stuck with it now it’s outside the return policy. May have to get a firestick to get the features that stopped working on the TV.

Would love to give this 5 stars. However, the WiFi issue is beyond irritating. Basically every time I turn on the TV, I have to hold the power button for 5 seconds to allow the TV to fully reboot and connect to wifi. This NEEDS to be resolved. What’s worse is that all worked ok in an earlier version of the firmware but this 1400 version introduced the issue. I will be buying more TVs in the near future but they won’t be Samsung if they can’t fix this issue.

The TV arrived broke but best buy replaced immediately and haven't had any problem with the new one. I can't give details about the quality of the TV because I bought it as a gift for my kid. She hasn't complained since it was fixed. Would buy again.

I can't wait to return this tv. This tv is NOT 43". It's a big lie! The tv is 37.9" wide, 42.5" diagonal. I recommend reading fine prints before purchasing. The picture suddenly turns to black and white, with a weird glare. It has old fashioned quality, and i can't believe it's a 2020 model. The remote is tiny and frail. I'm upgrading(so i thought) from a 2006 sleek Samsung which has very strong good quality picture, but just started acting up for no reason. Bye bye Samsung, your integrity has fallen to zero. I guess I'll have to switch another brand.

Good TV. The new legs placed on the edges of the screen do not allow for easy placement on furniture. The earlier center stand was much more functional and still looked classy.

I was really excited to purchase this tv however I had to return it after a week of having it. I loved the screen quality and everything about it except the fact that it kept disconnecting from the internet (WiFi) every 30 min. I did every troubleshooting step... I even took the tv to my friends house and tried connecting it under her WiFi just to make sure it wasn’t my internet but I ended having the same issue. I eventually gave up...It was definitely not worth keeping it for the price that I paid for
