    3 stars because I bought it as a Christmas present. Haven't used it but pulled it out long enough to make sure that everything worked. So far so good. Will see when it's truly put to work. I'm expecting 5 star

    We were told this TV would be compatible w Spectrum. It is IF you continue to use a cable box! Otherwise, you lose a lot of features offered on spectrum like pause, record, so,e on demand options, etc.

    It works do.e.but I have a dead pixel and already went through the process of mounting it on my wall and have no time to wait for another tv

    Just overall setup is a pain, some of the picture qualities are not was expected, purchased extended warranty, glad we did, because in dynamic mode, everything is white. Think We got a lemon..

      Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.

      You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings

    For this being one of the higher end TV's, I'm very disapointed. In 2021 how can the tv built in software still be slower than a $20 roku? Tizen SUCKS. TV doesn't get very bright.

    I was very disappointed by this Samsung tv and had to return it. I have another one, older version, in my son's room and that one has been working great! This new series 8 was taking forever to upload channels and apps. Prime tv was almost always giving errors with error codes and I was sick and tires of unplugging tv and plugging it back in. My other 2 TVs have no problems with any apps and channels, so I returned this one and bought a new toshiba tv.

    Not intuitive. Interface not as easy to use as roku. The voice interface is disappointing. Why does Samsung have to build something from scratch instead of making an agreement with roku.

    Color not as good as my Sony. Not easy to operate

    The tv was not as easy to set up. Color is not bright and vivid like my Sony. It was a good value but I wish I had spent the extra money for a better tv. Not easy to operate .

    Picture quality is only good looking straight on. It fades as soon as you move from that position. Had I known that prior to purchase, I wouldn’t have purchased it.

    It only has one sound out and that is digital. Had to buy a new sound bar which made the tv more expensive. It has an equalizer, but it is grayed out, and I cannot figure out how to access it. The tv will not play mv4 codecs, so I had to convert much of my movie and tv show collection. When it turns on, it says it cannot find the source input, but after a minute it will boot up anyway...annoying. Otherwise it works ok, but you could probably do better with another brand.

    I've had the the MU8000 series and the Vizio P series in the past, and let me tell you, this doesn't come close. I don't recommend this TV, even if it was discpunted. I bought this Open-Box "Excellent" and this is probably going to be returned. I watched a bit of Iron Man 2 and you can see some ghosting. Peak Brightness and HDR highlights, way too weak for an 8 series. The KS8000 and MU8000 series were better. Don't buy this TV, especially if HDR matters when watching movies.

    Bad quality, worse than my old TV Samsung about 32", which I use instead of PC display( perfect image ). I'm frustrated. Plan to buy 50" TV Samsung or Sony, but I'm afraid to get into a mess again. I lost $70 for delivering and set up. The Installer could not improve the quality better. I'm not sure that TV was from closed box. Not smart, not 4K. Returned next day. Simon

    Good TV but the new menu on the 8 series is smaller, harder to see and you cannot remove what Samsung put in the menu. You can add other apps, but the bloatware (crap apps installed that most dont use ) are overload and cannot be removed. Also instead of a menu you now have a full (netflix) like interface from Samsung's aggregator of media trying to push that onto people. One thing that hardware developers should learn is to stick to hardware, let software be separate.

    I was expecting a tv which was delivered barely today and when I went to turn on, the screen has all these lines and etc. truly an upsetting situation for anyone having to call and wait 4 hours on the phone to get a replacement So ended up getting a Sony oled and super happy now Also the delivery man had told me when he disposed off the tv if I had any issues to call. That’s a red flag almost like he had dropped it or ? Very confusing to say to someone when it’s a new tv Love Best Buy but after this never again delivery for tv of oled version too delicate,

    Bought this tv but I took it back because it was too dark in dark scenes and you couldn’t see anything even if you turned the brightness all the way up.
