    A little bit disappointed with the free Samsung smart tv channels as they do not work at times but overall an ok TV for its price.

      1) Turn on your TV to start watching. Samsung TV Plus automatically starts playing so that you can instantly start watching.

    Not as good as older Samsung TVs

    This Samsung TV needs to be cheaper.The picture It's not as good as My Samsung 4K TV from 2017 in the same price range.

      Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.

    This TV could have better sound and I expected better clarity in the picture. Overall serves the purpose and function though.

    The format is very touchy, good picture though. Especially with Hulu tv

    Disappointing Samsung TV

    We bought this tv for one reason, to stream Disney+. I checked the specs for this tv on the Best Buy page and when we picked it up at the curb due to Covid the box also said it streamed Disney+. After setting it up I attempted to connect and it kept failing and chatted with a Samsung rep who told me it is not compatible and she was very sorry. Hmm, I will not buy Samsung again...

      I am sorry to hear that you have issues streaming Disney+ app.

      Please know that your TU8000 does support Disney+.
      You can try cold booting your TV, updating your TV's software, deleting, and downloading the app again, and a completing full reset of Smart Hub to correct the issue with the app

    This TV is awful. I wish there was an option for 0 stars. Where to begin: 1. Often get the error message - problem trying to play the channel 2. Tizen (the operating system) is complete crap. Slow to load, buggy, can't get rid of it. Navigation sucks. Hard to tell where you are. Can't get rid of the super annoying home screen - the freakin' Movie Hub. 3. TV shows randomly cut out, screen goes blank, takes forever to get back to your show. I regret buying it and should have taken it back before the return period ended. And NONE of these issues happen on my other (older) smart TV. All unique to the Samsung TV. Blech!

      I am sorry you are experiencing issues with your Bluetooth connection. If the TV fails to find a Bluetooth audio device, place the device closer to the TV, and then select Refresh. 4) The TV and Bluetooth device may disconnect, depending on the distance between them.

      Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update. (ver. 1460.9 released on 12/7/20)

    Worked great for a couple days, went to watch today and have a big white line going vertical and a couple dark lines going horizontal. Haven't done anything other than turned it on. No thunder storms, no one touched the tv itself. Now tomorrow the fun of trying to get the warranty to take care of the problem begins yay

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU8000 TV. I am very sorry you are experiencing issues with your TV not displaying properly. You may want to try the following troubleshooting steps:

      1) Check the antenna and input cable connections

      2) Check the antenna and HDMI cable connections

      3) If the issue persists, define exactly what is wrong with the display. For example, mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, fixed horizontal, or vertical lines

      4) Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?

      5) Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?

      6) If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)

      7) If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. Signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception

    I expected much more from a 4K TV. It is about the same or worse than our old 1080. And our old TV had a swivel. This one does not, so from the sides it looks faded and awful. Did not expect that fading to be so bad. Not very happy..if it is going to be that faded from the side they should include a swivel.

    This TV was bought on 5/10/2020 and today is 6/3/21 Yesterday less than three weeks out of warranty, the picture is all screwed up. After being on a few hours, anywhere the sky is shown or a wall inside a building, it appears to be moving with dark grey and blue colors mixed in. Sometimes people's eyes and teeth have blue splotches on them. !st TV I've ever owned that didn't last long enough to change the batteries in the remote. This is worse than the Samsung washer we bought the didn't last three years. I have always considered Samsung to be one of the better manufactures but from now on, I'll be buying another brand.
