I'm only giving it 4 stars because it took a lot of struggling to get the picture to not break up because of the high Dynamic power behind it. I should start by saying that I am a Samsung groupie phones TVs. When my other 4K backlight went out I decided to upgrade. I stream my TV, everything Wireless. Streaming through the Roku 4K stick the TV was perfect! Perfect color perfect LiveTV everything. However through the TV itself, not so much. (Choppy movement, picture not coming in all the way and losing connection) I adjusted the motion sensor and a whole bunch of other settings...nothing let me save you a lot of frustration and if you're having this issue change out your coxal cable cord connected to your router! Yes it is that simple now my picture is crystal clear and it does not scramble or lose connection! It's a great upgrade from the ju 6500 and I am very happy with my purchase! I use a netgear modem w router c-7000.

Extremely pleased with this TV. Excellent clarity. Easy to use. I recessed it into a bookcase attached to a pull out arm. Huge change in functionality of the room.

Easy to navigate. You can hear clearly from across the room (if you stand in the kitchen and it’s across the living room, the sound is still clear- appx 20 ft away)

Loving this new TV with all the features, and especially our installation guy Edwin who installed it perfectly and showed all the tricks! Great deal. Great place to shop when the deals are on. Having Comcast Xfinity also helps a lot to fully enjoy this new purchase. Perfect size for a room in a condo wall mount.

After 3 weeks of owning this TV, I can say that it checks off all the requirements for what I wanted in a TV. I am in the process of setting it up with Alexa. Also, my grandson loves the game mode. Love this TV for the value also. The cost for the QLED or OLED, for me, was not worth it. This TV is well worth the cost. The remote takes getting used to, it works with most of the FIOS commands. The whole family loves it.

I bought this for my office and my husband thought it was too big but once it was up it fit perfectly

We replaced a 10 year old Plasma tv with this. I learned a big lesson about how there are different "series" of tvs from the Geek Squad and took their advise after getting a horrible Sharp tv prior to this one. This Samsung 8 series 4K UHD with HDR is absolutely incredible! We don't need anything bigger than this size due to the shape of our living room. We are honestly amazed with every show. I would definitely recommend this to everyone - especially if you get it for the great sale price that we did. We've had it about seven weeks & couldn't be any happier.

This is a beautiful tv. The picture is wonderful and the features are really nice. We were originally thinking of a different brand and a slightly larger size, but our sales rep showed us this one also. I am very glad we did. I think it is the perfect size for a bedroom and the set is just amazing. I would recommend this set to anyone looking to purchase a new television with nice features at a reasonable price.

It’s only been a month, but so far so good! Liking the picture and all the features! First day set up and learning to use was a little frustrating for a member of the fifty something crowd, but after I got it down it’s a breeze to use and I like having a smart tv as opposed to having to use a separate device to get the same features. Also like that it can mirror my iPad or iPhone.

I was looking for a new Tv as my bedroom Tv was too small and starting to affect my eye sight. So I looked into Samsung TVs between 49" and 55" and found the 49" 8 series. The 7 series had a 50" so I researched the difference between the 7 series and the 8 series. Ultimately, I chose the 8 series and I do not regret it. The 8 series is similar to the QLED series without the price and was steps above the 7 series. I wanted to stream without connection issues and that was a common complaint found in the 7 series. So if you're looking for a Samsung TV, go with the 8 series or the QLED. It's worth it.

The colors are vibrant. The image is crisp and clear. The motion handling is top notch... for a 60hz panel. For those of us that actually enjoy the SOE (I know... not for purists...), the lack of 120 hz on a 49" is it's only flaw... Everything else works flawlessly, and the image is excellent.

This is far and away the very best TV I have ever owned in my 77 years. From the very beginning moments of unpacking, setting up, and initial running, it has been a superior picture, sound, and performance. It is loaded with apps and features you would expect to find on pricier models. I have received compliments from family members and close friends who have been in my home, This is a TV I can truthfully recommend to anyone - you really have to see it for yourself and experience what a great tv really is and will continue to be! I would rate it 10 stars if it were possible!!!

ALL my electronic devices are Samsung, phone, tablet & TVs. This is my first 8 series, all my other Samsung TVs are 7 series. I was looking to purchase and the BestBuy agent I was chatting with recommended this one. At the time it was unavailable in my zip code and I was tempered to buy a 2020 model. This BTW is a 2019 model but before long it became available again and I purchased it ASAP. I'm pleased with my purchase, the picture quality is fine, I've never had a complaint on the Samsung picture. I love the Smart remote, although I've read many reviews where people do not care for it. I was sceptical about the feet but they are pretty sturdy compared to the Y stands I'm accustomed to.

Great quality picture. The TV and remote supports many different sources. The remote allows and software allows me to switch between several different input sources with ease. The voice assistant works well though I am still learning how to utilize that application more effectively. Had one problem setting up the antenna input, but the Samsung Help Assistant came to my rescue and showed me how to complete the set up and then set up the antenna input. The cable input was already working. Still exploring and learning the many features of this TV.

This is a very nice, class 8, 4K Smart TV. The remote is easy to use and you can add apps/channels. The picture quality is very nice and we wall mounted this TV.
