For those with small spaces or utility rooms close to living areas, this might not be the washer for you. We replaced our still operable, 8 year old Samsung top load washer with this newer model. The old one was much more quiet. Luckily we still have the older Samsung. Not sure we can deal with this. We'll see how well it cleans before deciding to return or keep it. At this point we can't say we'd recommend it.
