    Totally got this as a open box return in immaculate shape. Looks amazing, balancing is a pain, Best Buy did not do that for some reason, really annoyed me. Couple things Good burners, but the big boy burner has ignition issues... Might be a problem down the line. I'm not happy that with the griddle on you can't fit a large pan on the oven, seems like a design issue. The touch panel oven operation looks nice, but seriously the number layout is stupid. I can't really explain it through text Well, but with the number layout I always have errors, the zero seems in the wrong place. Petty issue. Overall, I like it a lot. Just some minor issues

    Knobs turn on accidentally. It's too easy to turn on burners with an unintentional bump. The adjustable feet do not lower enough so that the stove lip sits on the countertop oo there is a gap that food/liquids can spill into. Samsung customer service does not provide assistance with these issues.

    This one lasted just over 18 months. Samsung is not exactly durable but is ok when its working. This unit had not been used daily but probably weekly. First problem was the igniter. It failed and nothing worked. Had to buy a new one and install. From what I've read this is the most common part to go out. I'd love to say it was made to last but this one not so much. The way it works is the electric ignitor has to get to a certain temperature then the flame lights. There is not a spark per-se. In theory this is a good idea but for some reason this part did not last very long, makes me nervous. If they had a longer warranty it would hedge the bet but for the price I'd expect better quality

    My husband and I renovated our kitchen November 2016. We bought what I would consider a fairly high end appliance suite by Samsung. A couple months after our remodel, we had an issue with the dishwasher. Needless to say, they have been here three times to fix the dishwasher and it still does not work. I guess I should not have been surprised when a month ago (14 months after purchase) the oven just stopped working. Stove top was fine but oven base burner just didn't come on. Called to get it fixed but my 1 year warranty was up. Finally, they sent someone to fix the problem and he said it was a faulty connection. Here I am 10 days later with a broken oven again. Just waiting on the fridge to breakdown next. Their advice after one year and six issues, buy the extended warantee. Thanks - next time I'll just buy LG. Disgusted by the quality and service Samsung has provided and will never again purchase anything from them.

    Nice but with a problem in the oven after 4 years

    It looks very nice and works pretty well, but after 4 years using it, the oven stopped working well and started smelling gas, because it was turning on an off. It seems that the pilot doesn't let it turn on correctly... it takes a lot of time to preheat it too.

    If I can prevent 1 person from buying this range I will consider it worth my effort to write this review. Let me tell you what I got for over $2000. Yes, the range has ALL the bells and whistles, but it is the little stuff that will make you wish you had your money back. I got the black stainless steel. DO NOT BUY IT!!! By month 7-8 the black began to peel off. I have other black stainless appliances and they are fine. I wrote that because I know the Samsung Rep will try to blame the peeling on my cleaner. NO. I use the #1 stainless cleaner on Amazon, and it's rated #1. The red indicators on the knobs will begin fading by month 6th. The grates will discolor by month 7th. Samsung will not honor its product. Several Reps. sarcastically mentioned to me, "the range still works...right?" Believe it or not, I was told by a Rep. at the corporate office that once you but it, that whatever happens to appearance is on the buyer. Even if it is the company's fault. Yes, YOU BOUGHT IT YOU DEAL WITH IT. My repairman told me that he sees the peeling ALL the time with the range model. And that Samsung knows it, yet still turns away customer's begging for compensation. Now I will have to live with this pricy piece of junk. Next time I will just buy American. I recall reading a review and dismissed it because I got caught up in all the bells and whistles. Now I regret ignoring the review from that thoughtful soul.

    We purchased this range in 2017. Two weeks ago I ran the self clean program. The touch pad stopped working and the oven remained locked until a Samsung technician could come repair the issue (which took a little over two weeks for them to fit us into their schedule). $210 later we have a new TCO. This part is designed to fail completely if the oven gets overheated in the self clean mode. He recommended we NEVER run the self clean program. In addition to this issue, we have also had issues with the samsung dishwasher, and refrigerator. Samsung DOES NOT stand behind their products.

    Purchased September 2015, wont heat as of June 2017 would not say its great reliability. Was nice while it lasted but would hope to have a little better quality parts. I think the Samsung brand is hit in miss for quality.

    Corner burners and oven work great but we spent an extra $300 to get this particular one because of the center burner and cast iron top. The burner turns on but does not come close to reaching the grate or heating any food that’s on top of it. I called Samsung support multiple times and was passed around about 15 times on multiple occasions before someone was finally sent out to inspect the issue. Since the burner turned on it was deemed within acceptable standards and the phone calls to customer support continued for another month until someone finally told me nothing would be done about this. I’ve been a loyal Samsung customer for 5 years but Samsung lost a customer after this experience. I’ve read similar reviews about Samsung’s poor customer service - I would avoid them and go with a more reliable brand!!

    Waste of $$$. Piece of garbage. Don't buy! Oven stopped working before stove was even 1 year old. Samsung Customer Service stinks! Best Buy's hands tied: Can't replace until Samsung declares it "defective." Took Samsung Service Co. 8 or more service calls to finally fix, so was w/o a working oven about 2 months! Once they finally fixed it, the 'fix' lasted about 10 months & oven died AGAIN! Samsung Customer Service is refusing to replace the stove even tho it is clearly defective & wasn't cheap. Currently at a stalemate w/Samsung & w/o a working oven AGAIN for nearly 4 months now!!! The oven handle makes for a great place to hang a dish towel, put that's about all this stove is good for.
