Perfect for the living room

We went TV shopping without really much in mind other than we wanted a 50" TV with a good picture quality. What we got was that and a whole lot more by purchasing a smart TV with a lot of extra bells and whistles we weren't expecting. While this family of 4 did most of its TV watching in the family room, the living room has become our new spot to enjoy TV on our new Samsung NU6900.

It has an excellent picture. The only bad thing is it only has 2 HDMI. So I had to buy a HDMI switch, you can hock up to 5 HDMI cables and switch in-between the different cables and select the 1 you want and then 1 HDMI cable goes into the TV. I need 4 HDMI ports. Satellite, Roku, DVD, sound bar. And I never saw i TV have that many all only have 2 or 3 .

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.at times it seems a bit sluggish, but the picture experience is amazing! auto adjusts to game mode and back to movie mode with ease (that I like). the biggest annoyance is the advertising of movies and TV shows for other apps. this is my first smart TV and I found that kinda odd. the ads are in the bottom left corner so they're not in your face, but still a feature samsung could've some without or at least let me turn it off. other than that it's a great TV, just wisg the navigation was a bit faster.
