I am not an expert, so when i first turned this TV it blew me away. I was used to watching Hi-Def TV on my existing TVs but the SUHD picture makes everything else look kind of crude. Setup was extremely easy. I'm 2 months into this and I can honestly say, for me, this is the best TV on the market.

This is our 4th Samsung TV. We love the clarity of their pictures and this newest one is fantastic.

The tv offers beautiful imaging with true to life colors. I like its auto sensor feature which lowers the light that is projected from the screen in low light room settings. Adds to the viewing experience with less strain on the eyes. Also enjoy the smart tv features and remote control capabilities.

Bought this TV and it works great! The picture and quality make it seem as if it were almost 3D!

I took a long hard look when searching for a new big screen TV before making a final decision. I had at first set my sights on an LG OLED big screen despite the high cost. But I couldn't reconcile the small, and I mean small, difference in picture quality between the Samsung set.and the LG. And then there was the price. There was a more than $1000 difference between the 8 Series Samsung and the LG OLED 55" set. I made one final visit to Best Buy for a side-by-side picture quality review before concluding that the small difference in picture quality was virtually imperceptible. I decided to pulk the trigger on the spot that day and never looked back. I also saved myself a very nice sum of money. Who doesn't want to save and still get a great TV? I'm extremely pleased with my selection.

This TV is very smart. Smarter than I am, but in a good way! Pairs nicely with my amplifier, DVD, turntable, speakers, etc. Great picture quality, very slim design with virtually no frame. I helped a friend install hers, watched it for an hour, then bought mine the next day. Couldn't be happier.

I bought this set due to the ultra thin design. I'm awed by the picture quality as well as sound (rare for thin sets to have decent sound because of physical space). The smart app is very responsive without lag and the Plex app is redesigned compared to my HL750 series). Couldn't be happier.

I looooove this TV!!! Everyone that comes over compliments the picture quality and says how awesome it is. I completely agree. I have had some issues with apps loading (like Netflix and Hulu), but haven’t had any issues lately. I’m not sure if the updates fixed bugs or what.

This is a great tv. However, I am having some issues with conversation features on applications. For instance, I have to turn featers off when watching videos within the youtube app. The video flickers. Remote is easy to use and comfortable in hand. Overall great buy and great picture.

I bought this TV on sale for just under $1000 -- and have been very happy given the excellent UHD picture, tiny bezel, easy out of the box set up, and attractive appearance. My only concern is that the TV's remote does not coordinate as easily as I would like with my Sonos soundbar.

I can't express how completely satisfied I am with is 4K UHD TV!! The picture is super crisp and any UHD format just visually POPS! The smart TV features are quick and smooth to navigate and the remote easily programs to any service or device. This is QUALITY. I would highly recommend!

I recommend this TV for two big reasons. The ease of set up and use and the picture quality. It takes some getting used to the high frame refresh, but the picture is FAR better than my previous 1080 Samsung. I am enjoying it and having Netflix and Youtube access built in is a real plus.

I bought this TV during a sale and got an extremely good price for it. When I got it home and set up the picture was amazing and the TV itself was pretty impressive. It wasn't even 24 hours into the purchase that I started having issues though. The TV would randomly go black for 2-3 second once a day. Checked the connections and settings, then did some reading online to see if anyone else was having the issue. I found a forum on the Samsung website that was about 35 pages long at the time of reading. The conclusion was that you either need to turn off HDR or wait for a firmware update that fixes it. The issue has been around for a year already and further investigation through Amazon user reviews proved that the TV had serious issues with build quality and the problem I was having was actually one of the more minor ones (which is scary since a problem with the picture on a TV is serious to me). As several pictures showed new TVs falling apart or with busted screens, I decided to not risk waiting for a year overdue firmware update that may never come with the risk of the TV coming apart in the mean-time. Exchanged it for a Sony X850D and have had no issues. The picture is not as good but for the money I'd like my TV to last for at least a few years, not to mention this TV is about 300-400$ less which would explain the picture quality difference. I'd recommend going with Sony or LG if you want to buy a TV in this price range.

The 55" Samsung 4K Ultra HD, 2160p television with High Dynamic Range allows our viewing experience go onto a new dynamic level. The deepest black you can get, which means no fuzzies and true color display. Also, watching tv is not possible from every angle at our house now!

Relatively easy set-up and good flexibility to customize to the room. Online access and built in aps and features are handy and work well. Remote is feature rich and relatively easy to get comfortable with, though a more complete getting started guide would be welcome.

Very accurate color and contrast. Does a great job of upscaling non UHD content and UHD native content looks amazing. HDR is the real game changer here, making movies and games look stunning and so close to real life. This kind of image quality, at this price, is a no brainer.

Got this tv on sale and it has a great picture with great color love Samsung products!!!

I bought to use with Xbox 1 S as an HDR tv. HDR 10 bit yes are not very common and thought this one was best for price. I have enjoyed everything about this tv, the smart tv functions are are really diverse and good

Mike from the Geek Squad did a great installing both TVs (as did his assistant). And we would definitely recommend their services. We purchased the 55" Samsung UN55KS8000, great picture. The selection was based on Consumers Report pick as a Top-Tier Smart TV and a great value!

After several days of research and looking at Televisions from all different brands this one came on sale. With good reviews we made the choice to buy this one. It has an excellent picture when set correctly and colors are bright and vibrant. This TV has some motion Judder when watching programs that jump from scene to scene like HGTV. The App choices are ok and Amazon prime can be a bear to deal with as it has connection issues with this app and we have to reset the router or reconnect with the wifi every so often. This has been talked about on other forums with certain Samsung models. The Back of the TV seems to collect a lot of dust and we have to swiffer the back weekly. We had to upgrade our old DVD as it had component cable out and we had to get one with HDMI OUTPUT as the One Connect has no component input. Navigating the settings and setup is very easy. The sound is not bad for such a thin TV. I may be strange but I like one connect cable box that i can remotely hide the cables and connections and one cable coming to the TV. The screen does very well in bright rooms that have light glare as this TV gets pretty bright and off sets the glare. The thin silver Bezel looks nice and the legs are very well made sturdy and not cheap plastic. All in all we love the TV. It is leaps and bounds ahead of the older flat panels We have in our house in other rooms and for the average Television viewer this is a pretty good TV.
