This tv was purchased to replace an older Samsung 50" lcd. Despite the larger diameter screen size the overall tv size is smaller given the thin bezel. Picture quality is outstanding. We already had smart service thru TiVo, a firestick, and Apple TV, but having a smart tv with built in apps is better. We paired this with a Samsung sound bar that replaced a Vizio sound bar. This integrates with the tv. No regrets on this purchase.

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this TV. I have always been a buyer of Plasma HDTV's but since that technology has moved on, aside from OLED, this TV does a fine job. This TV has great picture, easy to use controls, and decent price. I was impressed this TV pulls the colors together very well. I would certain recommend this TV for someone looking to upgrade to 4K and still keep good color and confidence on a decent priced TV.

The picture quality is second to none in this price range. Love the off angle picture quality for my great room. Tizen OS is smooth and responsive. However, I'm deducting one star for the following. 1. Samsung removed silicon dust hdhomerun support with a firmware update even though an auto update was off. 2. The spindly legs were wider than my tabletop, necessitating purchasing a VESA stand. 3. On a $1000+ TV Samsung couldn't include the 45x8mm screws for the VESA mount. They don't have these at Home Depot, Lowe's or Ace hardware. My Best Buy was kind enough to supply out of installers spare parts bin.

The picture quality is very clear but on occasion I do notice a little jitter while watching movies and sports programs but I'm researching whether this is a settings issue. The smart T.V. apps make it a breeze to watch your favorite shows on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, etc. It comes with a smart remote that can be somewhat difficulty to learn if your not technically inclined. I would recommend this television to a friend.

I am very happy with this T.V. the set up with WIFI and cable was extremely easy, the picture is great! Have not explored all the features of this, and I think the only thing I would change is the samsung remote. It's a little too stark and not intuitive for me ( I am over 60 years old) so would like the functions spelled out a little better. However, that is easily changed, and does not detract from my happiness with this purchase.

I was looking for a 4K TV for watching the Olympics and I was not disappointed. Have also watched some Blu-Ray movies that have looked fantastic! Check out Grand Prix or Lawrence of Arabia, you will feel like you are there. Remote is a little unusual but pretty easy to use and I bought the add-on Bluetooth keyboard which helps. Using the Extras during the Olympics was interesting, the Twitter feed appeared on the side of the screen.

PICTURE IS THE BEST VERY EASY TO SET UP IT AUTOMATICLY SAW THAT MY SAMSUNG PHONE WAS LINKED TO MY HOME WIFI NET AND ASKED ME IF IT SHOULD USE THE SAME. I CLICKED YES THATS ALL I NEEDED TO DO FOR WIFI SET UP. I MOUNTED IT TO THE WALL. I HAD NO ISSUES. THE BOTTOM SCREWS NEED TO BE LONGER BUT MOST UNIVERSAL KITS SHOULD WORK. I LINKED IT WIRELESSLY TO MY SOUNDBAR(SAMSUNG). AGAIN IT FOUND IT WITHOUT ME DOING A SEARCH. STUPID EASY.

I was skeptical about going 4K. Not much content out there. Samsung is a good reliable brand. This TV blew my mind. It up scales and everything looks like live TV. I have Netflix and upgraded to 4k Netflix...wow. The remote is easy to use and connector box is convenient, no more moving tv to plug things in. The best part, I sold my wife on it.

So, my first flat screen television was a 1080p Sony that I owned for quite some time and was actually going to buy Sony again until reading the reviews and seeing how many options Samsung offered. The tv is fabulous, thin, and crystal clear. Additionally, I was concerned about the smart features and whether or not they would hold up compared to an Apple TV or XBOX device. Well, they do. There are occasional glitches like the remote not powering off the television from my couch but still being able to change every other setting. Overall, this is a television I would purchase again.

I love my 55" KS8000 and I couldn't ask for a better TV for that price range. I bought an XBox One S and the gaming (22 millisecond response time working with Quantum Dots/HDR) on there is phenomenal!! Samsung really stepped their game this year with this TV. The only 2 better TVs is the Samsung KS9000 and the LG OLED...but talking a minimum of $2,000 for them. I can't believe how football games look on this...GOOD JOB SAMSUNG

Bought this television after many years of watching on a plasma set. Remember when plasma was the latest and greatest. Well it can’t get any better than this 4K!!

I switched from a ten year old 32" Sony Bravia (thanks Sony, we had a great run) and can't believe the difference. I knew things change quickly in the electronics world, but this was like going from black and white, to technicolor. It's not just the picture quality, the interface and ease of use is remarkable too. I wasn't worried about my six year getting the hang of it, but even the Wife can figure it out.

I don't ask a lot out of my TVs - clear picture, easy to use. This TV met both of my criteria. I'm not really an expert when it comes to TVs, but I can tell that this TV was a huge upgrade from my 8 year old Magnavox. Also, the set up was super easy and the smart remote worked immediately (I read some reviews where there were issues with the smart remote). Overall - I thought this TV was a great value.

This TV is good starter for anyone looking to step into 4K, it has many great features and the picture overall looks very good. The only complaint I have is that when the TV screen is displaying motion and it is a dark black, it tends to be sort of choppy and the black lags across the screen. Looks very pixelated and low quality. Other than that it fits my needs. I have a Ps4 Pro and it is compatible with it. Games look great on it. Watching movies it tends to add the black bars above and below the film your viewing but it isn't that noticeable after a while.

Easy to install. Tested perfect. Worked as expected. Clear picture. Remote is simple.

I was originally going to buy a cheaper TV but I'm happy that I went with this TV. The TV recognizes your cable and other electronics such as your computer or game system. For example, when we turn on the PS4, the TV will automatically go directly to the PS4 home screen without the user needing to take further action. The TV has grear picture quality and range of colors HOWEVER I think this has more to do with me watching things in HD only and not in Ultra HD or 4K. The TV is easy to use. The remote control has a voice command feature but we have yet to test it out.

This is a great TV with high and features at a great price. You get 4K resolution as well as HDR and he can get very bright to make the movies pop especially during the day time. The TV is very stylish as well. My wife loves the thin bezel. The TV is deceptively's small. So when you think you can only fit a 55 inch, chances are you can fit a 60 or 65 inch into that space. We wish we had bought bigger!

So, the good first... The quality of the picture on this TV is nothing short of the best. I mean, really, it's unreal. The quality of color is insane, the black is a 'true black' and you don't see greys/blacks mixed in during dark/black scenes on TV or movies. The TV itself is beautiful too, and the stands are neat and modern. The bad... This TV is a MAJOR PAIN THE A**. Where to start.. Well, the One Connect system is annoying. I knew it'd be there and thought "It'll be ok". Well, it is just OK. The system is a neat idea, but 1) the proprietary cable means it's SUPER expensive to track down replacements or longer cables (for my 15ft cable run from TV mount to equipment, it's a bad deal), and 2) it's just another thing that has to be velcroed when mounting. Which brings me to my next point: More bad -- mounting this TV has been the most frustrating process ever. I've mounted plenty of TVs in the past, and this takes the cake. First, the bolts from any universal kit will be too short -- you need M8x45 or longer, which can be tricky to find. Second, the more annoying part, is that the plastic cover on the back isn't flat, which makes finding a mount that'll accommodate it is tough. You end up flexing the cover, if you have the wrong type of mount, which is terrifying. Between this and mounting the extra box back there, your limited on how slim you can really go. So, with this in mind, this would be a 5 star TV if it was sitting on furniture with all equipment below. However, for anyone who wants to mount it (which is likely many), I'd recommend steering clear. Wish I could return the TV, but I bought it on Black Friday and just opened it (January after) when I moved into my new house. Bummer, but it is what it is.

I'd been looking for a new TV for awhile. The picture on this TV is great. It was easy to set up. Colors are rich looking and the overall pictures is brighter than others I was looking at. I'm very happy with this TV and the price cut due to being the 2016 model makes it a super good value. . I would recommend one if you can still find one available. I think you will be very happy with it.

Great picture quality. Perfect size for space (16 x 14 room). Simple to use remote with limited number of buttons make it easy for everyone. Thin and looks nice hanging on the wall. Bought in 2016, so looking to upgrade as newer apps not available on this older model.
