Great little tv for in the bedroom

The picture on this is incredible, I just bought the Bluetooth soundbar and subwoofer to go with it. The sound on any of these types of TV's need a better sound quality. Easy to use but I do have difficulty in trying to manage everything with the TV remote. I purchased the 4k 3D HDR Samsung Blu Ray player to go with it. We were showing it to someone in the 4k HDR video and the picture was Awesome. We also showed them what the 3D was like coming from the OLED screen and it felt like we were standing next to the people in the TV, something I never felt before, it was just that real.

    Greatest TV viewing ever

This Samsung Ultra UHD CURVED TV with 240 motion rate, streaming, etc is absolutely the best viewing tv for the money (55", $1,199 on sale). It almost appears to look a little like 3D in most movies and showers w/o the extreme popping out at you affects. The colors, crispness of the picture is fantastic. Adequate inputs/outputs. We connected it to a Samsung 6.1 soundbar with subwoofer for great inhanced sound.

Forget about low price TVs and pay top dollar for a TV that is not only over a grand, but, wait for it... CURVED!!!! What will they think of next, 1500.00 dollar HDMI cables. With the money you spend on this TV, forget about cable, satellite, or even purchasing a DVD to watch. You put all your money in the TV. But then again, its CURVED!!!!!!!! Forget the 4K......... CURVED is where its at (for the company I mean).

Network card/internet died after a year!

This is probably an excellent TV for picture and more; the 4K is excellent and the curved design is appealing and stylish for your living room. The app functions drag a little but still do what you need. The major flaw with it was that the network card, which allows for internet connectivity (in case you didn’t know), died after a little more than a year. So, of course, the warranty expired and it was more expensive to have a third-party repair person fix it than to buy something like a Roku to use instead. So, if you want to use the built-in apps to watch YouTube or Netflix, then you can’t. I’ve heard this is common with this model.

    Garbage

As a TV, it works great. No problems with picture and sound. But as a smart tv, it’s garbage. Since it is advertised as a smart tv that’s how I will be reviewing it as. This thing has caused me nothing but trouble and frustration when trying to use the smart features to access applications like Netflix or Spotify or other services. It’s so incredibly slow when bringing up the menu to access those apps. And when you finally get to an app, they don’t even load sometimes. And there’s not quick way to force restart the apps. You literally have to delete the app and redownload it. These are not issues with individual apps but with the tv itself as I have had issues with all apps on this tv. But use a streaming stick like Chromecast and you’ll never have issues. Additionally, it is ridiculous that after paying for this tv, Samsung thought it would be a good idea to put ads on the home menu and not allow you to turn them off. This is a disgusting practice and makes you wonder what else they have the audacity to do— like maybe sell your data to other companies. In short, good tv. Horrible smart tv and overall product. Would recommend getting a cheaper tv with no smart features and buy a streaming stick.

    Great 55 inch TV.

I am very happy with my purchase. The 55 inch size is perfect for my smaller living room. I have yet to realize the full potential of the curved screen, however, I do seem to get wrapped up a little more in what I am watching (pun intended). The colors on this TV appear to be a lot brighter than on my previous plasma set. Being able to access the internet from my recliner using the TV remote is a very nice feature. Watching the few available programs with 4K content on this TV is almost like seeing things in 3D. I am impressed! I am patiently awaiting more programming with 4K content to come out. Just another great product from Samsung!

    Low quality 4K and HDR

This can be a nice TV set for a casual user. If that is the case though I would recommend saving money on a cheaper set like the KU7000. If you are a hardcore user looking for the best 4K & HDR experience for games and movies do not get this set. The processing power is not high enough to support true HDR color levels. I was very disappointed in the quality of the 4K and the lack of true HDR. Also this set only supports limited HDR on one port so you will need a 4K switch (extra $100 for a good one with least quality loss) if you want to hook up a PS4 Pro and Xbox One S to the HDR port without having to moving cords around. I took the 7500 back to the store and upgraded to the Samsung KS8500. Simply put the 8500 blew me away with its high quality 4K and true HDR color range. It also supports HDR on all 4 HDMI inputs. If you are a hardcore user looking for a top knotch 4K HDR experience for gaming and movies I recommend saving your money for the KS8000 or KS8500. The low processing power limits the abilities of the KU7500 and you will probably be disappointed.
