BLACK STAINLESS WEARS OFF

Bad Buy - very disappointed

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow, I thought we did our homework and bought a good reliable Samsung range, but after having it for only THREE WEEKS, the touchscreen has gone completely non-functional TWICE, meaning that the oven doesn't work. The first time was right after it was installed (April 8). The range worked fine, but the touch screen would only register the number '3', and the oven wouldn't turn on. We put in a ticket, but by morning it was working. We thought maybe it was an update that was pushed through, and things worked well for a couple of weeks. Now (April 27) the touchscreen won't let us turn on the oven, or even set the time. The kicker is that Best Buy lists this as no longer returnable, after having it for less than a month.

Samsung Black Stainless

I don’t recommend it to anyone to purchase the black stainless its a waist of money.

Plastic knobs, cracked within months

Best Buy would not replace them. Told me to call Samsung. I’ve spent months with different reps, promising to send them out, then nothing comes. I would highly recommend NOT buying this model simply because the knobs are made of plastic and will crack from daily use and you will end up frustrated like me. I will probably just spend the $50 each per replacement knob on an appliance parts website just to be done with this, although I’m certain they will crack again

Do Not Buy Samsung Appliances

I bought it in November 2020, one of the knobs broke less than 2 years after purchase. The replacement is $82!! and Samsung refused to send me a replacement. If you can't make an appliance that lasts at least 2 years or stand behind your products you should get out of the business.

When the oven and the cooktop on your range won't turn on, your first thought is a power issue. But it could still be a power issue even if one is working and the other won't. Loose connections or tripped circuits can cause one or the other not to work. If this has been going on since installation, it's likely due to improper installation or insufficient power supply. Where applicable, the steps to resolve these types of power issues are also the same for built-in electric cooktops and wall ovens.

Worst appliance I've ever owned

Best Buy takes no responsibility and Samsung service is truly atrocious. Stay far away and buy literally anything else.

Best Buy has really fell off

It has been nothing but problems ever since and Best Buy doesn’t honor their warranties anymore and the outsourced company’s they send to your home are denied claims for replacement parts. The knobs fell off already!!! My oven doesn’t work at all!!! And they are not repairing it!!!!

Stove not professionally Test and does meet Spec

Samsung did not mention that the back burner do not function normal when using the oven; the vent/blower affect the performance of these burner. Also, we bought this stove with defects; unfortunately we noticed late that it smells gas on broil high setting. when I called customer support, they send an incompetent tech who can only work under supervision. My family was home and I decided to drop my child somewhere, in less than 30 minutes he was gone and he closed the ticket stating that he did not find any problem. The stove was repaired on the third visited. This was very disappointing.
