My 65" DLP Samsung developed black spots after six years of use. I bought this one at 80% of the price of the older model (not counting inflation) and the differences in picture quality and features are incredible. Also 3D works just fine. I'm glad I didn't listen to the critiques of 3D on TVs.

This is the best Flat Panel TV I have ever purchased. The HD picture quality is amazing (when using a HD receiver). It was easy to install and set up.

We upgraded from a Sony 60inch DLP, we weren't looking for 3D, but were wanting the the clarity, larger t.v . We researched Lg,Sharp, Sony and Insigna. I wanted a 70 inch, but also my husband wanted the best 3D since all of the models we were looking at had it. Finding one with high quality picture but no 3D isn't likely. we had brought our choices to Sharp with Qualtron or this Samsung we went for these reasons So this Samsung has the highest refresh rate 240hz , powered 3D glasses which make the picture clearer and more realistic. Then of course the price was 1000.00 more for the Sharp in the size we wanted. so we chose the 65 in Samsung. Being able to run Netfil and other apps straight from the t.v. is great. Our picture off our antenna is so good people think were on cable or sat. We've had the t.v. for 3 months now and really love it

We bought this TV before Christmas when it was on sale. My husband had been looking at a variety of TVs and settled on this one. So far, we haven't been disappointed. Superb picture, brilliant colors, good sound quality, plus all the other features, like 3D and internet connectivity are outstanding. The TV is also very sleek and easy to move. My husband has his PS4 hooked up and is in heaven. We had to drive a VERY long way to pick this TV up because it was unavailable in our area, but it was worth it. The only downside, if you can call it that, is the remote. I'm not too crazy about the touch pad feature, but other than that small thing, this is an outstanding TV. Love, love, love it.

I got this tv the week of the Superbowl. Brilliant bright color. Watching the big gAme on it was great. Setup was simple including hooking it up to wi fi. My previous tv was Samsung 55" ultra slim plasma (would have bought same one but bigger but i couldnt find one as slim for reasonable price) so I opted for this tv with 240 hz refresh rate (i was afraid of blurring with the 120hz). So far im not disapointed. Hockey games look life like. The "soap opera"effect is annoying at times but easily fixable w a few clicks of remote (shutting automotion off) I prefer the automotion on for sports. The voice activation on the remote actually works. I havnt used most the the smart features but the tv responds quickly to those features. I mounted the tv myself using Samsung wall mount. Uses 4 screws spaced 16" apart. Only slight neg would be the sound. But i have a cheap sound bar which takes care of that issue.

This is my third Samsung TV. I was not disappointed. Outstanding picture, all of the usual Internet options, 3D which although not why I purchased this model is also very nice. Thin, looks great mounted on a wall and has so many features I still have not used them all yet. Very happy and continue to be impressed by Samsung quality. The box was huge for this 65 inch model and the TV was well protected.

I bought the Samsung LED 3D 7100 series 65" Smart TV 1 mo ago. I love the TV! I had it professionally mounted on an articulating wall mount with the Sonos soundbar and routed the satellite receivers/blu ray in a closet to give a wireless/seamless look. I have no complaints with the TV, While the price is not cheap, I feel it is a very good value, due to it being a 240Hz led 3d smart tv and Samsung. When it was installed the company disabled the auto dimming feature, which I personally like, makes the screen/colors more bright, but can almost be too bright at night. The picture is crisp and looks great, smart features are very nice and convenient, the tv synced with my sonos soundbar very easily (highly recommend these 2 together, can turn soundbar to radio/pandora with my smartphone while continuing to watch tv and switch back and forth easily, or run 1 or the other by themselves), TV has a great cosmetic look: the thin border of brushed nickel or stainless steel gives a high quality appearance, I was pleasantly surprised how thin the tv was which makes it a good choice for wall mounting. If you are looking for a 60-70" Smart TV I don't feel you can go wrong with this 1!

I purchased this product just prior to Christmas this year, so I have had a few weeks to play with it and watch some some blu-ray movies. Some of which were in 3d. First off the size of the unit really fits my room perfectly. I was on the fence with going with the 60" vs the 65" and am glad I opted for the larger of the 2. It was very easy to set up and connecting to the net was a breeze. I think the remote is pretty cool but use a Harmony 650 in its place so I can control everything else in my entertainment stack. The 3d features are really crisp and bright. I had researched the passive TV sets and glad I didn't go that route. Granted 95% of my viewing is in standard 2d mode but I always told myself If and when I buy a new TV for my family room its going to have to come with the 3d feature for me to be satisfied. This set has a ton of picture setting features and lots of ports to connect to. Overall very happy with my purchase I realize there are lots of better units on the market but in my price range this topped the list at most value for the money.

Simply Awesome!!! We bought the Smart TV during the Thanksgiving week and got a great price! It replaced our "old school" Mitsubishi DLP TV and we were impressed immediately! The picture is great, the features are cool, and the design is good looking! We bought the Samsung soundbar which is completely wireless with the soundshare feature. If your planning on buying a flat screen and enjoy great sound, make sure you budget in a sound system. I'm a huge sports enthusiast, so my life just got a lot better with this piece of equipment in my living room!

This is an excellent product. It has surpassed every expectation that I had. My family is completely in awe of the picture quality and 3D movies are an absolute trip. I never realized that 3D would be so good. I selected the 7100 series for the 240HZ performance, an it has proven to be a smart choice. I could have purchase a 6000 series and saved some money but after comparing the two side by side in the store, that made up my mind. I mounted it on my wall myself using a Sanus mount and I am delighted with the appearance and low profile. I had the Geek Squad do all the settings set up for the TV and Samsung Home Theatre system. I have a very low patience threshold for that kind of thing, and I am very glad that I made that decision. I also purchased a Logitech universal remote while the Geek Squad tech was doing the setup. He totally customized the settings and now I remote controls my TV, movies, songs, apps, etc. I purchased the TV while on sale at Best Buy for $1999 and I consider it one of the best electronic decisions that I have ever made. The reviews I read prior to purchase were spot on. You can't go wrong with this one.

Easy to set up and navigate screens. Picture is absolutely stunning. Sound is pretty good, but have it set up to go through my home entertainment system. Remote control is a little finicky, but optional keyboard works great. Even the 3D works amazingly well. Football and other sports look great.

I've been using this TV for about a month and am very happy with the purchase. The picture is outstanding. I was able to find some professional calibration settings online for this model which helped make the picture even better. I had to make some adjustments to remove the "soap opera effect" from certain movies. You can still see a bit of pixelization at times if you are watching something like a concert with strobe lights flashing light and dark in the background, but much less than the prior generation HDTV that I had. The 3-D option is a bit of a gimmick and doesn't look that great. There is some free 3-D content built into the Smart TV portion, so you can try it out. I would definitely recommend getting a sound bar or surround system with this TV. The sound isn't very loud at all. There are plenty of connections for different equipment that you want to connect to the TV. The Smart TV area has some great apps. It's really easy to access HBO Go or Netflix through the online apps. With youtube, you can set your account up so that you can push videos from your iPhone to the TV, which is a great feature. I imagine there are even more features if you have a samsung based phone. I'd recommend getting the blue tooth keyboard if you are going to use the web browser at all. Otherwise it will take you forever to enter a web address into the browser.

The picture quality is simply amazing. Solid color definition, and the picture is enjoyable even in a sunny room. The physical design of the TV is very modern and sleek, and its thinness makes it look amazing hung on the wall. The SmartTV connects to pretty much any online service, and streaming Netflix without turning on a console or DVD player is very convenient. The TV has a smart built in TV guide that will configure itself if connected to the Internet. My only difficulty was getting used to the remote. Instead of arrows and a number pad, it's a trackpad that you use to draw channel numbers with your finger. It works also with voice control but I did not set that up, as we hooked the Xbox One to the cable box and control the entire system using Xbox's Kinetic. Very happy with the TV and if you have a Samsung phone or tablet, it's very easy to stream pictures to the big screen.

This is an awesome TV! It has an insane amount of features. The remote control takes a little getting used to, but it is very cool. It connects via bluetooth so you don't have to point it at the TV. The picture quality is amazing and it's sleak design makes it look awesome on the wall. My only complaints are the glossy screen. I used to have a matte finish on my last TV so I never had light glare on the screen. I have to turn off all of the lights to completely remove glare from this TV. The 3D glasses also require batteries, and the battery life only seems to be a few hours. Overall though this is an amazing TV and I wouldn't hesistate to buy another one.

I was looking for a tv with a big screen.I was looking for something that had enough features so as not to become obsolete in a couple of years.Like most people I had read plenty of reviews.There are a lot of opinions and a lot of choices.It seemed as though the plasma televisions were a top choice according to cnet reviews and the Samsung sales rep.The next big thing is 4k,but I was satisfied with the picture quality and the 240mhz of this led lcd.television.I have only had it a few weeks but I am amazed at the picture quality.I am also amazed how thin this tv is.I have it hooked up to surround sound and its awesome.I am still exploring its many features.Hopefully the reliability will be there long term.At this point I would recommend this tv for picture quality and features.

This TV does an excellent job of combinning entertainment available on the internet with features expected in a large format TV. Is very good for watching sports in HD. Little to no motion blurr with the 240HZ refresh rate. Conversion of Standard to 3-D is OK at best, but one must consider the source. Watching made for 3-D movies and/or broadcast is excellent with the 3-D glasses provided. Would prefer a better on/off function of the 3-D glasses though. Really enjoy the web browser and you tube apps. We are new to the other apps and have not formed an opinion yet. Like the wireless/bluetooth mirror screen feature for watching pitcures and video from cell phones. Wish it was more compatable with phone brands other than samsung.

I was originally going to buy a Vizio set, but overheard sales rep telling other shopper about Samsung - after comparing am glad I went with this set. The picture is outstanding - better than the plasma it replaced. Setup is easy. Internet connection was simple. Watch Netflix, Amazon Prime. Also connect to my PC to stream content (movies, pictures, music). This requires an additional free app from Samsung. The remote is small and takes some getting used to. The sound is adjustable but when watching movies I use my home theater system. Overall this TV is great!. I am very pleased with the performance and smart options.

I have really enjoyed the Samsung 7100 after the hassle of getting it installed. The picture quality and motion are great with a few small setbacks. Picture quality in some really dark scenes is not perfect and doesn't allow for a lot of contrast (might be a settings issue). Navigation with the remote that comes with the TV is slow and frustrating. If you get this model, I might recommend adding on a wireless keyboard.

The picture quality on this Samsung LED 3D SmartTV is Crazy good! The 3D is very clear and really brings 3D Blu ray's to life. The SmartTV functionality is very useful for me as I enjoy Youtube and can easily watch all the channels I enjoy. Setting this TV up was simple and took no more than 20 mins. Getting the TV connected wirelessly is simple and easy. The screen is huge (previously owned a 40' Samsung) and the TV is super thin and light weight for it's size. If you're in the market for a LED 3D SmartTV you can't go wrong this one!
