I'm not going to get too technical on the specs, I just wanted to give a general impression of the TV from someone who is not an expert but knows when they see a nice picture. I do NOT have cable, I use Apple TV and my PS4 (PS VUE) to watch TV and Movies. The picture looks great, but you do have to play with the settings to get it to where you want it. You can turn off a feature and it will get rid of that soap opera look. I got this TV for a great deal before the super bowl. I would definitely recommend.

We upgraded to a 4K and are very happy with it. We trust the Samsung brand. It has a great picture and functions are user-friendly.

This television is fantastic with a beautiful picture, upscaling, HDR, and all you need in a 4K TV. Buy it. You won't regret it.

The picture is great. Input lag when gaming is not noticeable. The smart functions don't work as well as I'd like. You have to back out of apps and reload them to get them to work sometimes. But other than that, there are no issues.

This tv was an awesome upgrade from my 7 year old Vizio. Almost twice the size with great color and brightness in our living room.

Love love love this TV. If your store has it displayed next to one of the older models you will definitely see the difference. I caught it on a nice sale and am glad that I watched the prices. Don't cheap out on the sound system you buy either. Opt for the best you can afford. The regular sound is ok but all manufacturers have lightened up these TVs by minimizing the sound output. So factor that into your purchase and go as big as you can on both tv model and sound accessories. Pic quality is just amazing.

Went shopping to replace a, still working, but getting tired 46 inch Sony. Started looking for a 55 inch, but found a 60 inch Samsung that I liked better. Then discovered that the 65 inch was cheaper than the 60 inch. I was afraid that the large size would overpower the room, but I don't find that to be the case. It is perfect. The color varies some from scene to scene, and the remote isn't the most friendly, but overall, this is a great set. I have now added the sound bar which is also great.

After spending several hours looking at TVs. I am so glad I made this my purchase. Awesome picture. Very easy to use.

I do a ton of research before purchasing my TV's and in the end, I always wind up buying Samsung. They just continually seem to have the best picture for the money and this TV is no exception. Sound is pretty solid too if you care about that. I'm only giving the TV 4 stars because while the picture is great, the web experience continues to go downhill. Fewer and fewer apps are available each year. I first experienced this with the Samsung I bought in 2015 (also an 8000 series) and its even worse now. Sports channels seem to have suffered the most. No WatchESPN, CBS Sports, Fox Sports or BigTen Network. Plus, if you care about music - Spotify doesn't work. I will absolutely have to buy a Roku now and once I do, I may completely disable the web on this TV...if that's possible.

I had to return the first TV, one issue after another. The second go around is much better. Picture is great and really enjoy being able to navigate to Amazon and Netflix...I have DirecTV and channel 104 is amazing (4k channel).
