Not the biggest fan of LED TVs, I love my Panasonic Vera plasma. I judge all TVs against it as it is the gold standard. This TV comes very close to the picture of my Panasonic. You will need to make some adjustments to the picture. Especially turning off a few of the video features so that you don't get that "soap opera" effect. Once set, it's just an awesome picture. 4K video programs are stunning. 1080p is fairly good but pixelation is still noticeable from time to time.

I researched the internet for the best televisions for the money. The Samsung 8000 series was listed right near the top. I then spoke to different salesmen at different electronics stores and they, without knowing about my research, confirmed this was one of the better televisions on the market. I got the television home and set up through the Geek Squad and have been very happy with it. The picture is superior to anything else I have seen. I am very happy I made the purchase.

This is my second Samsung 65" 4K Ultra HDTV. My first one was awesome, but started having an issue (turning it's self off / on). After 3 repair visits, I was due a new one. Fortunately I had the extended warranty protection. Best Buy credited me what I spent for the 1st one and I subsequently purchased the newer model. The TV's picture and features are awesome!!! Best Buy is an awesome store!

Amazon reviews were bad.. 3.5 stars... I went to Best Buy to see for myself. Glad I did! TV has awesome pic. You do have to get used to the clarity, even in 1080p stuff that is upped to 4k. It's very different from what I was used to... But just watch something on like Netflix... It's crazy great. The Samsung universe takes a while to adjust to but their Smarthub is great! No need for any outside devices... Netflix, Amazon. Hulu, etc all available on the Smarthub. Very pleased w purchase.

Terrific color and quality with blue ray and most cable channels. No lag time if you use game mode with PlayStation.

Easy to set up. Works fine. Turned off Eco for a better picture. Added a Samsung Sound bar to complete our enjoyment.

This tv is amazing. Perfect size for my living room and so sleek we aren't even sure it needs to be mounted to the wall!

I made the ultimate mistake by purchasing a 1st generation 4k set, the SONY XBR-65x850a aka 4k monitor. Do to its limited resources it hung on my wall for 2+ years never displaying anything near 4k. Finally I made the decision to go back to Samsung (I own a LN46A650A) that still sits in my bedroom. I'll be honest it was a difficult choice between the Samsung and LG's UH8500 but in the end I am completely satisfied. The set is connected to my Xbox One S and is absolutely stunning.

Probably one of the easiest smart tv's to setup including the two stands. Beautiful picture and very sleek presence!

I bought this to replace a 10 year old Samsung I also bought from Best Buy. After comparing this TV to the 9000 series that was $400 more, I couldn't tell any difference between them. I have watched regular TV, movies, sports and played video games, and use it as my computer screen and love the picture for all of these inputs. The refresh rate is so smooth, that scrolling through items I can seen the picture clearly. I hope to get another 10 years out of this TV as well.

Picked up the tv and have not been let down yet. Great picture easy to use for any beginner in the smart tv world.

Excellent picture. The closest you're going to get to the OLED, without the insane price tag. Very easy to set up.

Have upgraded to this Samsung model. It has a cpu which upgrades the 1080 picture to 4k. The upgraded picture is every bit as good as 4k movies which I watched on Netflix. This tv makes football games look amazing. Everything is so much clearer. Ideal viewing distance is just inside 10 feet. Now all my neighbors are watching football here. If only they'd bring their own beer.

Very good picture; easy set up. Television was the perfect size for the room and picture quality was astounding.

It is everything a t.v. should be. Great detail, black and white movies are as good as can be, Color is fantastic!

The quality of this tv is superb. The 4k quality brings out its true colors and sharpness. Keep in mind if you have a cable/sat provider, quality may not look as good due to the providers receivers not able to support 4k quality - it's not the tv! Also this tv does not have any composite ports, an hdmi to comp converter is needed, in my case, to play the old school game consoles. This is the best tv I've owned thus far, really good options built in - all in one tv.
