This is a wonderful tv. I have been researching 4K tvs for about two years and finally decided on this one. So far it has been a great tv with great display and the remote is awesome. It sync'd up to my devices that were connected to the tv. That was a major plus in my wife's eyes!! Sound is not bad but I am now looking for a sound bar.

Great picture, specially when watching actual 4K content on my X Box One S. Sound output is pretty good also, I hardly ever have my external speakers unless I'm watching movies and want that theatre sound. Overall very satisfied with my purchase. I purchased another similar big brand 4K tv for the bedroom during the black friday sales. This one definitely is better in my opinion. I now have a Samsung in the bedroom also.

Overall an amazing TV, the color and clarity is unmatched in any other TV I have seen in this price point. My only gripe is it's persistence to try and control other devices, we use a Logitech Harmony setup and the TV constantly tries to turn on the Blu-Ray player and change the input on the receiver. Disabling HDMI CIC solves this problem, but there should be a better solution to modify the commands coming from the TV.

Bought this on BF for like $1499 it was great deal, have had the TV for a few weeks, and we love it. Easy set up it did take two people to place it on the stand as its sooooo big! We read reviews on Best Buy, Cnet and Consumers Reports. This TV had very sold overall reviews and the negative reviews we did see seemed to be people who just didn't do there home work. You get what you pay for and this TV is well worth it.

One of the main sources and apps for 4K programming is Netflix and guess which app has bugs and no fix yet? You guessed it, Netflix!! The sound drops out about every 20 seconds or so and the picture is amazing!! Hoping they fix that!! Also if you plan on hanging the TV be aware that your neighborhood Lowes or Home Depot doesn't carry the screws that you need for hanging it!! You need a M8 screw with a 45 mm depth!! If you need these you can order on Amazon for 10 bucks, with that said the picture quality is amazing, pretty standard speakers so bring your own!! If they get the Netflix app fixed I would give this 5 stars because it really is an awesome Tv!!

The picture quality and color are excellent. As a smart TV it is versatile and easy to use.

I bought this tv as an open box on black friday so i got a great price for it. I was a little concerned when i got home cause i saw the back panel had been opened so i guess it was refurbished. So far it has worked great, nice color and image, detail is so nice considering i dont get 4k signal from my cable provider, just sound is not that great. Overall i am pretty satisfied considering the great sale i got for it.

Excellent picture quality and performance, and the perfect size for a movie theater type setup (a 70" or 80" wouldn't hurt, but the 65" does a slick job too). Hooked up to a 4K cable streaming or playback device and you will be all set! Looked at comparable TVs that were about the same price (Vizio and LG) but liked the picture the best on the Samsung (and we've had excellent luck with Samsung TVs in the past).

I have been in search of a new TV since my old Samsung Plasma finally went out on me. I have read not only through reviews but also the tech write ups that I could find. I was actually close to pulling the trigger on a Vizio due to the HDR formatting war. However once I got to BB to check on the TV's the Samsung display was the difference for me. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and it looks great too!

This TV sets itself up, plug it in and let the movies begin. This is a real no-brainer, spend the extra money for this one. It will take two people to hang this on the wall and get it out of the box. The only drawback is if you have DirecTV, the universal remote will not change the channels on your DirecTV set-up. use the DirecTV remote it will work just fine. Very pleased, get the 5 year warranty by Geek Squad

This TV replaced a 55" Vizio we had in our master bedroom. The Vizio died during a power flicker (main board) and I'd had enough. Already replaced the board once, so decided to just replace the set. Lots of research led to this Samsung as best bang for the buck, plus the wife said to get the biggest TV that would fit on our fireplace stand. (We watch most of our TV in the bedroom.) My favorite feature: the nearly instant-on. Where the Vizio would take about 20 seconds to show a picture, the Samsung takes about 3. My least favorite feature: the remote. Sure, it's slim and cool-looking, but it's also easy to lose and to enter channel numbers, you have to use an on-screen keypad. I'll likely get a universal remote to replace this. Other notes: - Took awhile to adjust to our liking. Highly recommend a TV review/calibration site that sounds a lot like "ratings dot com." Follow their basic recommended settings for this model, then tweak to your environment. - As an edge-lit display, I can tell a difference between the Vizio and this. The Vizio was backlit and allowed darker blacks. Not a huge deal, and the Samsung is about 1/3 the thickness and weight, but you'll have to adjust settings. - Again on settings, I turned off most of the image "help" features like clean view and motion plus, because of not only soap-opera effect, but some movies with a lot of CGI made the human characters look oddly 3D. Overall, great TV, probably 1/2 star off for the remote, but otherwise recommended.

Initially, I planned on purchasing an $800 70" HDTV, however, after reading the reviews of many televisions and subsequently going to Best Buy to view many televisions, I ended up purchasing the 65" Samsun HDTV 4k which was on sale at the time. No regrets. The picture quality is excellent and the sound, which I hear via a Samsung sound bar is superb. Check out the picture yourself, you will not be disappointed.

We love the color, brightness and the overall picture. We had no problem setting the tv up.

Picture is great. Setup was easy. New menu system much improved over older Samsung TV we have.
