My first 4K TV and was not disappointed. Setup was easy. Picture quality and clarity is excellent. It takes a little getting use to because the picture is so life like, it has a soap opera picture feel.

Reviewed many options before making purchase. Love everything about it. Only negative comment is that it does catch a good bit of glare if you are in a bright room but brightness of LED makes up for it.

After a year of investigating, my family couldn't be happier with our new TV. Our family room can get quite a lot of sunlight, so it is imperative to get a great quality picture. This certainly fit the bill!

I would have to say this TV for what it is, it's pretty awesome. I did end up buying the same size TV in the Q7 for another living room, much different and better visibly but also almost twice the cost. If you're looking for a good size TV, 4K with multiple HDMI Imports, this is well worth every penny!

I bought the Samsung KS8000 65" TV mostly for gaming on the PS4 Pro console and let me say that it was worth every penny.
The level of detail and graphics is far superior to any other TV in it's class.

We love this TV. For the price, it was hard to beat. Especially for a Samsung. Color is vibrant and the clarity is crisp. Didnt need the smart TV options however but the option looks well implemented.

My Samsung 65 inch TV has a great picture. But the sound leaves a lot to be desired. I really have to turn up the volume to understand dialogue in movies, tv shows, etc. I probably will consider adding a sound bar at some point. But after paying almost $2,000 for a TV should I really have to spend more on a sound bar to get decent volume???

We are so happy with our new tv. We basically upgraded from a 55 inch to a 65. Picture quality is awesome, Netflix and other streaming content loads faster and the tv itself is really sleek and thin.

Excellent picture quality and features. It has options we didn't even know about until it was installed by the "Geek Squad". Another great experience with some very knowledgeable and friendly people.

Once you calibrate it, (you can find tons of guides online) its perfect. Out of the box the white level is a little out of wack but when its calibrated when its a black screen it looks completely off.

I have to knock on wood for this one. It has a great picture in HD. I would suggest not buying this if you do not have HD channels. I have not had any issues. There is so much detail you many watch things twice. Sports and action movies are really great. Remote on occasion does its own thing. Over all this has been a great television.

I have never been so frustrated with an HDTV in my life, and the fact that it is a Samsung has completely shocked me.
My wife and I have been purchasing Samsung HDTVs since 2008, and so far we have had no issues with them. They have generally been built well, last long, and provide exceptional performance. However, with the KS8000, I've learned that Samsung has gotten lazy with their quality control standards.
I've gone through three different versions of the 65" KS8000. Here's how each one stacked up:
1) The first one had about 6 or 7 dead pixels and the back of the TV (the black plastic enclosure) was loose on the corners. I was told to exchange it for a new one, so I did.
2) TV #2 was even worse. More dead pixels than before, the back panel was even worse and bubbling out/coming loose in the top-center, and a new issue sprang up: horrible light bleed. I decided to exchange it for a second time...
3) Unfortunately, this one is exactly like the first one except it has more dead/stuck pixels - the most out of all three (I've counted around 11 so far). I almost feel stupid for exchanging the first one now. No bad light bleed, though (although there is some "standard" lightbleed). So that's a plus.
Pros:
- The colors are pretty amazing on this TV. The 4K quality is also very top notch. For an LED edge-lit, no other TV in its class comes close. Unless you have an issue with broken pixels...
- The Gaming mode is top in its class. This TV is great for gaming as the latency is extremely low.
- SmartTV options are pretty high. Lots of variety as far as programming goes.
- The system settings are fairly robust and provide a lot of customization options.
Cons:
- Build quality of the set it terrible. The back panel comes loose, mostly starting in the corners. I am worried it will just get worse overtime, especially if the set is moved to a new location.
- You are guaranteed dead pixels. Of the three sets, I counted an average of 9 - 10 dead or stuck pixels. This is unacceptable for a TV of this cost.
- The remote is pretty terrible. It's sort of nice for how simple and elegant it looks, but the lack of options that are needed for a remote is not user friendly.
Overall, I'm mostly taking stars off for the hassle I went though in trying to get an optimal version of this set, and of course the build quality. As I explained above, the back plastic panel has issues with coming unglued, specifically in the corners. I am not sure if this is an issue that will continue to get worse. Also, there are stuck and dead pixels in all of the sets I've had. They are very small, so it isn't noticeable at a distance. Just annoying for a TV that is so expensive.
I do not recommend. I should have saved and paid more for an LG OLED.

I love this tv. The picture and colors are so clear. Every time we have guests over, they all ask us what kind it is because they haven't seen such a nice picture on a tv. It was also easy to set up!

Amazing picture quality, we saw this in the store and compared it to the others of similar size, price, and specs. This was hands-down the best TV of the bunch. Very happy with it! Highly recommended!

I originally was going to buy the P-65 from Vizio, but then input lag on the P-65 with HDR was just too high and from my understanding, Vizio is not going to patch this issue with an update to correct the issue which made picking this TV a much easier choice for me. LG's OLED TV is the best, but has a price curve on it. If you are not getting an OLED TV, this would be the best next step from that TV type. Vibrant colors, blacks are great (not as good as the P-65, but that's a FAULD tv, but close enough). I recommend this TV for HDR gamers and sport fans.

Very impressed with this TV. Originally purchased 6 series Samsung curved TV. By after doing further research, it was well worth the few extra hundred dollars to upgrade to a better overall picture.
