Edge lit LED tv. Owned mine for a couple of year before the light bleed and ghosting became too much to handle. Warrantied for an OLED model and never going back!

Samsung TVs have software problem due to which wifi disconnects frequently. Untill you power cycle the tv it will not connect to wifi again. Its a dumb tv sold as smart tv. Beware

      Madhu,

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing Internet connection drops.

Internet connections are mainly based on WiFi signal strength and quality. The router location and distance from the TV is an important consideration -- having them both on the same floor with minimal interference blocking the signal (like a wall, etc.) will improve streaming. You may also want to try wired LAN, if possible, since the connection will be faster and more reliable.

I hope this helps to solve your issue. Please reach out to us should you have any questions, concerns, or need further assistance.

Although this tv looks great with 4k channels, it really falls off with hd cable channels. My old 1080 tv looks much better with Comcast hd channels.

Bought this 18 months ago. Six months ago, the brick wouldn't pick up local antenna. Spent two hours online with Samsung. Even they were mystified. So I say I'll just do without. YouTube.TV gets them anyway. Upstairs Panasonic that's five years older picks up all signals and no problem. Then yesterday I get a HDCP error message, meaning the Samsung doesn't support the new HDMI 2.2 protocol. I think it does, But the ports aren't recognizing it. I've hooked two Roku Ultras and a Roku stick directly to the back and after about two hours, nada. HDCP error.I have the highest grade HMDI cables as well. I'm now forced to watch my YouTube.TV on the Samsung apps. Oh, but I can get it with the convenience on the Panasonic upstairs via Roku. Oh yeah and the ARC, which is supposed to allow you communicate both ways with your receiver (AVR) and Brick never worked. Read about it on the discussion sites. Samsung just blows you off from what I've read. Never been so upset with a Samsung product in my life and I own a smaller TV, (That still works by the way) and an oven. Sony or Panasonic will be getting my money from now on.

Samsung is now forcing TV-Plus onto their TVs and there is no way to remove it. I have two different Samsung TVs and they both randomly change inputs to TV-Plus, come on randomly at all times day and night and Samsung support said there's no way to remove their new TV-Plus malware from your TV. Done with Samsung until they take the malware they put on my TV off.

Excellent big screen for PC gamers!

I recently picked up a refurbished Samsung Q6F 65" for my new basement gaming room. My primary use case will be PC gaming so I was looking for a TV that supported a high refresh rate input signal and variable refresh rate. This TV supports AMD Freesync over HDMI (NOT currently "G-Sync Compatible" as that only works over DisplayPort) and supports 2560x1440 at 120Hz. Unfortunately, my main gaming PC has a GTX1080Ti, so I knew that the Freesync functionality wouldn't work but I plan to go back to AMD for my next GPU. I tried it on my old build with an R9 290X and Freesync 120Hz did work, but only at 1080p. I'm guessing this is a limitation of the 290X, not the TV, as I couldn't do 1440p 120Hz even without Freesync. The 290X also couldn't do 4K60 even though the 1080Ti has no problems doing 4K60. I assume it can do Freesync at 1440p 120Hz but I can't test it, so don't quote me on that. As for the picture, it's fantastic. Not OLED black levels, but it's sharp and colors pop. The dynamic contrast works better than on most other TV's and monitors I've used it on. It doesn't overscan HDMI in game mode, which means the picture looks crisp without any blurring or oversharpening often seen when using PCs with TVs. It's bright, gaming on it in a dark room looks incredible. I just started playing Destiny 2 last night, and it supports HDR. The contrast from going from a dark interior environment out into the bright daylight feels real, moreso than I've ever seen gaming. The response time is great. Quick flick shots feel natural at 120Hz, no perceptible delay. FPS gaming feels no different than on my 144Hz gaming monitor, it's insane. I've never seen a TV that handled fast-paced gaming so well. The built-in speakers surprised me. For a very thin TV, this thing puts out a surprisingly full sound. I still ended up hooking up external speakers, but if you didn't already have speakers and didn't want to take up space, I can definitely see getting by with the built in speakers.

      witchysher,

The Q6F QLED TV is designed with lots of custom settings, allowing users to adjust images to their liking.
Our typical store mode is showing the “dynamic” picture mode which is very bright. We recommend Standard mode at home environment for everyday viewing experience.

In addition to the display screen, the quality of the image on your screen also depends on the source and the connection.
HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing; and when possible, 4k Content will provide the best picture quality.
The quality of the streaming content depends largely on the speed of your internet, as most content providers have adaptive streaming that would automatically adjust the image quality based on the network bandwidth.

Please give us the opportunity to assist you with image quality adjustments tailored to your preferred viewing experience via one of the following options:
      1) Toll-free calling: 1-800-SAMSUNG

    Amazing TV, Picture and More!

Was upgrading from a Samsung 55" LED purchased in 2016. Great TV, but wanted 4k and larger size to fill up media wall. Was originally looking at a less expensive 4k, but after comparing images at Best Buy and talking to the Samsung rep, I decided on the QLED version. Picture quality is outstanding. Fiancee can't stop commenting on the picture. The remote, as mentioned before can be a love/hate relationship. I spent a good part of the night playing with it and have come to enjoy the onscreen options and simplicity of it more than one with 100 buttons to find in the dark. Reminds me more of my Android box remote and it's simple Home, Back, Options, etc for on-screen controls and menus. Screen is almost edge to edge. Man handled it for attaching feet (which easily slip into position) and placing on our media stand. Legs are very spread part spanning 43". Wouldn't recommend less than a 50" width area to put it on. Remote set was little confusing since I didn't read it was bluetooth and had to be paired, but once I pressed the two buttons to pair it sync'd right up. Even like magic figured out my cable/Tivo setup and now controls those as well. Just set it up to control my soundbar/woofer setup. Very easy. Hope you enjoy your Samsung 4k QLED TV as much as we are!
