Beautiful TV. We researched large TVs for a while before pulling the trigger on the Samsung We decided on Samsung QLED for a few reasons. 1. Technology - I’m not a tech guy but my son is in the film industry. He uses the QLED for editing and told me the picture quality is superior. He was right 2. Referrals. My high end clients use these TVs for their homes and businesses 3. Remote (yes remote)! Attractive , Sleek, and designed to be easy to use without all the useless buttons. 4. Sound with Samsung soundbar system is seamless. 5. Picture - just beautiful and bright. Best TV for the price point.

If you're wondering if you should get a smart TV or a regular TV + a different set up to receive streaming channels, go for the smart TV! The TV is beautiful, thin and light enough to maneuver easily, and setup was a breeze with the Geek Squad installation person. Of course the best part is that it's pretty much all set up to get your login information for streaming channels and the additional bonus is that Samsung also has a bunch of free movies and TV shows playing. The TV is also receiving broadcast networks. I don't even watch sports but I 100% see the appeal of being a sports spectator on a huge screen where everyone is bigger than life-size and looks even crisper than in person.

    Samsung - Open Box terrible

I bought this Open Box. It was a sharp looking TV. The picture was great it was nice and thin. Fast Forward 1 year and 1 month later. The TV crashes out lines on the TV and now it won’t even turn on. I tried trouble shooting and my only option was to spend Hundreds of Dollars on repairs. I’m done with Samsung Products and Best Buy’s Open Box “recertified” junk. No help once so ever just another bill you have to pay. First TV I have ever owned that lasted less than a year.

This is the 3rd Samsung I purchased from Best Buy. Best Buy salesman was excellent and was spot on. The Sony mid to higher end 65 " did have a slight edge on the picture quality but for my needs and his recommendations, this Samsung was perfect, the set up was easy and the picture and features are more than I actually needed for the location. I have a high-end Samsung for my Media room so I was not looking for the high-end picture that would come with the High-End cost! I am not the one to give you a Tech breakdown so I will just give you a consumer opinion. I also installed a Sonos Surround system with this TV (Connection and Sync were a breeze) I recommend you make sure you have the latest cable box (doesn't work well with the new, exchanged the box at cable co and now it works fine). Basically, a Good TV for a great price!

We are very satisfied with our purchase of this Samsung TV. As seniors, we wanted a remote that was user friendly and that the picture clarity was an improvement over our current 9 year old small TV. Both not only met but exceeded our expectations. The clarity is superb. We do love the much larger size and also that the picture can still be viewed from the side. Also, the remote control is very simple to use, as well as following the TV’s prompts, which is great for non-technical people like us. We even added a computer and a streaming device to further enhance this TV’s functions.

The Best TV I've Ever Owned

Bought this TV to replace a 55" LG LED that I loved. This TV is the best TV I've ever laid eyes upon. Being a cord cutter, most of my viewing is done via the Nvidia Shield Tv with 4K upscaling. After setting up this TV, I have spent days re-watching things that I thought I had seen previously. The sharp images and color depth of this display leaves me in awe. My setup uses Antenna, Shield, and a PC media server. The quality of image delivered by this set is beyond my expectations. Then, you throw in a rechargeable via USB-C or solar panel remote and you have an amazing entertainment experience.

    No "multiview" for pre-installed apps

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Bought this tv for multi-view function and it's "endless possibilities for splitting screens and viewing several types of content at the same time" I have called Samsung 3 times and still no fix. The only thing you can do here is screen mirror a Samsung phone on the right and on the left you can watch air tv, cable, Samsung tv, or hdmi input. NONE of the pre-installed apps (DISNEY, HULU,PRIME OR NETFLIX) work on Multiview. YouTube semi works but you need to exit split screen to search content then go back into Multiview. probably just needs a software update but will Samsung do it? I recommend you just stick to the cheaper alternative TU7000 with just screen mirror for around $500 less. picture and sound on Q60A are good. I like the slim design with the thin bezel. Screen does get glare.

      Hi Luis,

Thank you for your review of Samsung's Q60A TV and for sharing your feedback regarding Multi View. This feature allows you to display two things at once on your TV. For example, you can view media from different sources, such as a compatible app, Blu-ray player, or game console, on the main left screen, while also mirroring your phone to the smaller screen. Only 1 HDMI-connected device can be used at a time. For example, on the left screen: You can play an app (Samsung TV Plus, YouTube, or YouTube TV), HDMI devices, Antenna or Cable, or USB devices. On the right screen: You can screen mirror, use AirPlay, cast from an app, or cast from an IoT camera.

Good TV for the price (less than $1,000 on sale). Occasional black screen with a notice "buffering" which seems to happen in either live TV mode or while watching DVR recorded shows, which we never had with the last two Samusung TV's. Easy to use remote / easy to set up TV. Also, the built in speaker / sound is very weak for movies (if you can hear the TV at volume 25, you have to turn volume during movies up to about 80 to get the same amount of noise & that seems to be streamed movies or movies through our DVD player), so you'll definately want a sound bar with this TV.

      Posted .

      Corey,

Thank you for your review of Samsung's Q60A TV. Buffering when watching videos online is related to your internet speed. Buffering may occur on your Samsung Smart TV while streaming video content over the internet. Buffering usually occurs when your internet connection provided by your ISP cannot supply data fast enough for the playback device.

We suggest you try the following:
      1) Use 5G Wi-Fi if possible
      2) Try wired LAN if available
      3) Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router
      4) Please be sure you have the latest firmware update which enhances network connectivity.

There are several volume features you can enable/disable/adjust to your liking.

      1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input.

      2) Adaptive Volume automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source.

      3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode

Also, some sources have their own volume control which might be set too low. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try cable connection again.

Should you have further questions or need assistance, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.

The picture is outstanding and very clear and crisp. It has many features that most TV’s don’t have. It has plenty of apps like Netflix, vudu, prime video, and hulu. It’s also very easy to put the legs on for the stand and very easy to set up. It’s way better then the Sony 4K TV’s that are out. I would highly recommend this to everyone who is looking for the best picture ever. Finally it does support both Dolby vision and Dolby Atmos. The sound is pretty good but for really great sound you will need a soundbar.
