    This Samsung Television is absolutely amazing. I have been in love with the TCL brand for 3 tvs now. My son actually picked this one out based on how much he likes his 50 inch Samsung. I love it. Picture is crisp and with the sound and lights I purchased, we can’t stop watching.

    It’s a nice TV. My only issue is, at the highest volume it’s not powerful enough. Definitely needs to be paired with a sound bar or some type of speaker system.

    Love the size, picture quality and the center stand. The sound is adequate, but we find that the speaking voices are difficult to hear when the sound is set at a good level for the sound effects. We generally find this to be true with our other Samsung TV's and will buy a sound bar with voice enhancement for this one, too. For the price, it's an excellent TV. We have 3 other Samsung TVs.

    I have direct tv and the picture is very good Happy with it, it is a 2022 model Sports action with fast moving objects isn’t as good as our 9 year old plasma. Get blur’s The picture is better than the plasma. I would recommend this tv

      We appreciate your feedback on your Q80B TV’s picture when watching fast motion. For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings

      - Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off
      - Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
      - Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.

    Love the sharpness, colors, and clarity of this TV. It was definitely and upgrade from my past 65” tv. The sound is awesome, no need for a sound bar with this. My only regret is not buying a 75” instead.

    We purchase this TV for our media room. After exploring options we decided to try the QLED TV since it was supposed to be an upgrade from the 4K UHD class 8000 version we owned (which by the way broke down after just 1.5 years -- a week after we purchased this second Samsung TV). Although the sound is better, the overall picture quality is comparable to the 4K UHD, or a bit worse. "QLED" seems to be all marketing. The best example is the black/dark image quality, it is just bad (see picture attached). On a black/dark scene you can see the back lights at the edge of the screen!! Additionally the TV seems to turn on by itself. In multiple occasions we have turned the TV off, come back later to turn it on again, and although the screen was black, the TV turns off instead as it was already on. Incredibly weird and could indicate issues with the motherboard. This seems to be a systemic issue with Samsung TVs, very similar to the issues we were having with the first Samsung TV we bought (which ended up quitting in less than 2 years). We really wanted to like this product but the experience has been disappointing, especially considering the price. We can't recommend and will be returning since the value is not there and at this point we just don't trust Samsung TVs manufacturing quality.

    I really scratched my head a lot about this purchase. I started out with a much smaller screen at the lower 43" Crystal format. Definitely much darker in many scenes that made viewing difficult. Sound Bar and TV did not impress me that much. Both of those were stolen from house, so I had to deal with that. I decided that the 65" would be a bit more trouble to walk out of the house without getting caught, especially with new cameras installed. I finally landed at the 65" Q80B, with the HW-Q600B 3.1.2ch Soundbar with Dolby Atmos and rear speaker kit. Both of these are Dolby compatible. The TV is direct lighting with dimming, so picture is not dark at all. It's a little larger than I am use to, but it is quite stunning. I found the setup of the TV fairly easy since I had the other just prior to do. A lot of bells and whistles with this one. I am surprised that Samsung has not figured out a way to have one remote for both the soundbar and the TV. I will say your best bet on setup is to use the HDMI earc to transfer sound to the soundbar. The difference in sound was multifold above either the op[tical or BT. I found out as well that streaming via the TV vs. the PC is night and day. Clarity of picture and sound is amazing, so I can safely say that my choice was perfect. Fairly new model, with enough upgrades to raise the performance, quantum processer, 120 hz performance, and full Dolby abilities. Yes it cost me more money, but in the long term will deliver as much as I could ask for. I have had the setup for a couple of days, still getting used to the remote and the various offerings within. It was quite confusing at first, but I have managed to figure all of that out for now. I have to admit all of my devices are Samsung, phone, tablet, well not the PC. They are all interconnectable and not that hard to figure out, In the end, if you can afford it, definitely worth the upgrade and glad I made the choice. My biggest gripe is the lack of an app on the TV to fully setup the soundbar. Trying to program the soundbar is a nightmare with the small display and messy movements through the menus. Being able to do that by way of the TV would vastly improve this. Now I have moved on to the protection options through BESTBUY. Fortunately I have some time to make that decision.
