A little over a year of researching and planning a UHD 4K TV purchase, “replacing my 2009 46” Samsung Series 6” I’ve finally upgraded my living room with the flagship 65” Samsung QLED 8K, and of course yes it is absolutely amazing in comparison! HDR is now unlocked and enabled on my PS4, gaming is a whole new visual experience now! I can only imagine how great the PS5 gaming will look on this thing! I’ve compared QLEDs vs OLEDs for many many months, reading comments, ratings, and watching Youtube reviews. OLEDS are absolutely stunning TVs, but I need a TV that I can depend on to last me many years, just as my 10 year old Samsung did. With OLEDs, I fear the pixel lifespan might not hold up. Those 1 and 2 star rated comments I’ve read had me worried, and several OLED buyers were even experiencing pixel burn within 2 years of purchase. I just couldn’t risk it so I’ve decided the QLED because I think the picture is just as gorgeous as an OLED, but with higher brightness levels and no worries of pixel burn-in issues. BTW “Portrait Mode” is such a cool feature! The way the backlight darkens, it literally looks like a wall painting instead of a flat panel television.

This TV has the best picture of any TV I have ever owned. Yes I know that there isn't any 8K movies, tv shows or DVD's at this time but even programing that isn't 4k looks better on this tv than it does on my other Sony tv that is 4K. This tv up converts all programing to a higher level. The detail that can be seen is amazing. This is the first time that I've purchased a top of the line tv and am glad I did. Am very happy with my purchase.

I bought this open box display model, 65", for $1300! I mounted it on the wall and it's perfect. 4k content looks like a regular 4k TV. It doesn't look blurry or whatever quality issues you can imagine that would make you not buy this TV, I'm completely happy viewing 4k content. The "new" TV price is not worth it though. The oneconnect box or cable didn't work when geek squad mounted the TV, but I just exchanged it for another one at Best Buy and then it worked fine.

I can clearly see the difference between this Tv and my old TV. It is worth the money I paid for and very happy watching movies and live shows. Applications can be downloaded from the website like Apple TV, prime, Netflix, etc.

My new Samsung TV looks great in my new media room and I couldn’t be happier with the picture and the sound from the Sonos system I bought along with it. I’ve been waiting a long time for an 8K TV but it was worth the wait!

I was looking to buy this TV for a couple of months but never seemed to justify the price. I ended up buying as open box with a significant reduction on the price. It was missing the connect box and the cable, but I was able to find one on eBay. Overall way cheaper than paying the MSRP. I replaced a Sony TV I had in the living room that I bought 3 years ago (now installed in my man cave). You can immediately see the difference in picture quality on HDR movies and video games, where the 8K upscale is very pronounced. If you watch regular cable TV or other means that broadcast at 720p or 1080p, you should not expect a significant improvement if you already own a high quality 4K TV. Not to mention that 8K vídeos or streams are not commercially available so when you buy this TV, you are preparing for the future. It made a lot of sense to me as I’m relocating my old TV and wanted to buy top notch TV. The speakers are just mah like any other TV. The good thing is that it pairs seamlessly with my Samsung Atmos sound bar. Yes, if you are investing in this high quality TV, you need to invest in high quality sound system. You also need to consider the investment in good quality high speed HDMI cables to connect your devices and enjoy the full HDR capabilities of this TV. Very happy with my purchase, especially considering my overall investment was much less than I expected.

Got a store display model (RB) that was pristine condition but marked down to fair ($1300) because it was missing remote. Currently using as work/home computer monitor as text/responsiveness is on par with personal monitor. TV itself is very nice! Misleading general description as two types can be grouped together, this TV is the "RB" version. If you don't have "RB" version you don't get 4k 120hz or 8k 60hz through one connect at the least. Currently CAC-1085 adapter from Club3D (with appropriate GPU) allows for gaming at these refresh rates/resolution so yes 8k tv has a purpose! Runs a little hot on bottom of TV, which might be nice during winter.

Incredible picture, never once did it have a problem keeping up with motion. The deepest blacks I have seen in a big screen. The up scaling is seamless. We replaced an 8 yr. old top of the line Sharp. Very impressed with the quality of the screen as well as the sound. We have a great sound bar but haven't used it because this unit provides outstanding sound. It has a great leg stand design. The only problem we had was with the voice command, it would pick up on the voices from the TV. We finally just turned the voice command off.

I began shopping around for a new TV and knew that I wanted to purchase a Samsung due to the quality of the Samsung I had previously which lasted 13 years. This Q900 did not disappoint! The picture is crystal clear, quick start up time, sleek design. This TV takes gaming in 4K to an entirely new level. Two areas I wish were slightly better but would not turn me away are 1- the speakers, you have to have the volume up fairly loud to be able to hear it. A sound bar is a must. 2- The remote although now very modernized is a bit awkward and will take a bit of time getting used to.

Got this TV as an open box item and it looked just like a brand new TV minus the box! The quality is phenomenal even though there aren't any 8K quality movies out just yet. The built in apps in the TV makes it so much easier to access all my streaming devices.

Gorgeous is the first word that popped into my head when I saw this TV. I was not intending to go this high end (I was just looking for a TV for my son's room) but I after thinking about it for a few days I decided to go for it. It does upscale everything. I can watch shows in SD without getting a headache! My son sees a difference in gaming and we had a very good 2-year old 4K TV before this (which I now have in my room, go me, and my son has my old one.) Movies are my hobby so I now can watch them on a screen worthy of them.

I just got it mounted, all my devices connected, and WOW, I'm glad I splurged. The picture is amazing, especially while watching 4k content. My dish signal is amazing, without 4k content. Streaming on Netflix and hulu looks unbeatable. You can really see the difference in refresh rat, images moving, etc. My Xbox 1 X is all of a sudden worth the buy. Halo 5, despite it's stupid Osiris missions, knocked my socks off and so did Ddom Eternal. I/you have been missing out. This TV is the real deal!

We now have four Samsung HDTVs that have performed very well & have been reliable. This TV has replaced our 50" 1080p in our living room. The TV is able to upscale the 4K cable video to 8K & does it well. We looking forward to getting the upgrade to 8K cable. The separate "One Connect Box" is used to do all the cable & wiring connections to this box with only one small cable that isn't visible by routing it on one of the TV's legs. The sale price was fantastic too!

Extremely please with this Samsung TV. Primary reason for purchasing this model was the reduced glare film on the screen. My TV room has 5 windows and 2 skylights. I previously had a Sony LCD TV which died 3 years ago after about 10 years of use. I replaced it with another Sony LED TV since non glare screens were not an option at the time. The new Samsung does a great job of glare reduction as compared to the Sony and was one of the few models that offered any type of glare reduction. Great picture and clarity and minimal reflection. So if your TV room has windows, you should definitely consider this as a solution to glare problems.

Geek squad installed my 65" G900 and G90 sound bar and did a great job hanging it over my fireplace, unfortunately they took the boxes and didnt leave the tv legs, the manual or the optical cable for the sound bar, plus they hung it without letting get the serial number to register my tv. But other than that tv has a great picture, truly great color dynamic love it.

Fantastic TV with rich color and depth. This unit provides great upscaling for even better pictures in non-4K media. Looking forward to seeing 8k when available. The number if apps available is impressive and easily accessed. Even the browser connects better and is more robust than my former 1080 unit. I highly recommend looking at this model if you are in the market for latest technology.

Noticed the screen size difference going from 55" to 65". Color is amazing. Definitely tell a quality difference going to 8K. Geek squad did an excellent job hooking everything up which included tying up/banding all the cables individually. They also went thru all the start up screens and made sure everything was working.

I already have a Samsung 4K TV, but not QLED. After researching it came down to a 82" Q60 or this Q900 8K 65". 4K @ $2100 or 8K @ $1475 floor model. Realizing that there's little to none 8K movies, I may purchasing a feature I might not enjoy for awhile. But for the price, it was very tempting. I decided to get this plus the 2 year Geed Squad Protection (2yrs) to make sure I have added support for an open boxed item. This TV not disappointment! I streamed 4K on Prime, Netflix, and Comcast and all looked great! This has to be the best built-in system I've gotten. Sounds are coming from the bottom. I had to manually enable Dolby Digital Plus feature. By the way, the reason why I knew this was a floor model, Best Buy staff did not reset to manufacturer settings. It was tricky to undo it. I had to download an APP on my phone called SmartThings because the remote access disabled. Only power on and off work. From there, I was able to control the TV and reset the TV using the default code 0000. How did I know this Google and YouTube. Hence the 4 stars not 5.
